Just bought a 2025 Pilot Black Edition which I luv, has all the bells & whistles being Honda's top-trim SUV. But this New Passport looks downright AMAZING. Honda really knocked it out of the park with the design/styling of this great looking 2026 Passport. Can't wait for a road-test to see it in action. But I think it's a winner and Honda will sell a bunch of these beauties when they are released for sale probably in the spring of 2025 if not sooner.
@@GTGarageTalk I agree... these unibody SUVs are much more confidence-inspiring during emergency maneuvering and during everyday driving...going to work...back home from work. When you just wanna keep the steering straight and the vehicle drives exactly where the steering is pointed unlike a lotta dedicated offroaders where the car wanders about on the freeways....You get my point. Also kudos to HONDA for keeping physical buttons for almost everything ...and for also keeping it simple under the hood. The interior quality is also far better than modern toyotas.
Full frame vehicles drive harsh. Plus they fold up in accidents. Unibodies are stronger in accidents and drive so much better. Timing chains still snap or stretch and need to be changed at 150k. Most vehicles have electric brakes. Cables snap. Vcm can be turned off.
@@tinhinnhYou can add a lift if you want it to be higher. Higher vehicles are less stable and use a lot more fuel. Most people buying these are daily driving them. No point in ruining the handling and make fuel mpg worse.
I was looking at Mazda cx50, but this really has caught my attention. I absolutely love the look and engine.
You and me both!
Definitely on my list as next purchase. Wish Mazda had done something similar with the CX70
not a chance theyre trying to go up market 😏
I really like this new rugged design. The only thing I do not like is that push button shifter.
Same.

Couldn’t. Agree. More.
What a beauty! Thank God that Honda stuck with that beautiful 3.5L naturally aspirated gas engine! 😍😍😍😍😍😍
👍🏼
The new defender is a unibody too.... so the whole unibody vs body on frame argument for everyday offroaders is a pointless argument.
Not pointless. It’ll rage on forever. I think for consumers in 2024, the preference is everyday livability which is the unibody’s strength.

@@VG22.and you’ve sat in one…
I like it. Might be my next vehicle.
👍🏼
Love the looks but it still has the ff.
1. Timing belt engine
2. Push button shifters
3. E-brakes
4. VCM
5. Unibody
pathetic ground clearance too, no hybrids
That’s right. And also doesn’t have the “reliability “ of what you expect from a NA v6 like you would a NA inline 4 from Honda

My dream attainable car....Current Pilot owner lol
👍🏼
Current Passport owner and ready to trade it in for this new baby.
Only thing this is missing is massage seats and self drive
Beautiful remodel Honda. When does the all new Ridgeline come out and will it be skinned as the all new Passport?
Both good questions without answers as of yet.
This will be my next purchase. Will be trading in my Nissan Titan.
Bye bye Toyota 👋
Passport next purchase 💯👌
Mid $50,000 .
Looks great, but at nearly USD 60k out the door for the Elite, I wonder how many Honda will sell.
A LOT. It’s 2024, prices are high everywhere. It’s competitively priced.
id just get a base pilot for $15k less then 😂
It will be 50k for top elite. These will sell crazy. Honda nailed it.
@ 50? try again
@@tinhinnh Yep the bottom model will be 50. + . Transport. in the middle about 56 and top of the line elite 60 .
