The juicy chemistry lip balm. Honestly it worked miraculously for me. It made my lips soft for sure. It's actually become my holy grail lip balm. And for that matter the laneige one is good yes. I use it though the night, sleeping mask right. But the minute you take it off. Lips feel dry within 5-10 mins. So i'm not sure why it didn't work for you. But yeah it worked great for me.

I started with 1 jar after seeing many recommending for pigmented lips. Some days I feel my lips are ligther other days not much difference. It sure is moisturizing. Mine was not natural pigmented lips but after using vaseline, dark lipsticks etc it made my lips very pigmented which got me conscious too. My lips have become dry too. So trying all lip balms. Hope something works on me.

Not just the Vitamin C, I used Earth Rhythm's niacinamide and hyaluronic acid as well and none of them worked for me. I passed them on to my mom who just wanted something for the "feels" and she seems to be enjoying it (she isn't into skincare and just likes to use serums more for the act than results)
I used the beige (eco-friendly) variant of razors from Bombay Shaving Company. It had great views on Amazon and I wanted to take an environment-friendly approach as well. But it broke me out so bad, and I am someone with a usually clear skin. It resulted in ingrown hair and small bumps and pimples and rashes and what not. I'll never use that again.
Hey Jovi, Enn's closet was initially launched with philosophy of the founder to try and make cosmetics that are natural and don't lead to potential risks of cancer. That in itself is such a misguided idea. People blame cosmetics for having chemicals at negligible percentages that wouldn't cause cancer even after years of use with proper studies to back that up but often forget lifestyle changes like pollution, food intake that influence our health on a much larger scale. Hence the brand was initially preservative free but had irritating essential oils🤦. But I'm glad they kinda shifted from the initial green marketing and misinformation.
Not just Earth Rythm's Vitamin C serum, but other products too are absolutely ineffective. I have used mandelic acid, multi peptide serum, niacinamide and snail mucin from this brand. Highly not recommended.
I never really bought into the fragrance irritation theory. But once I started a regular skincare routine I realised how annoying highly fragranced products feel. So I tried and used up the plum night clarity gel on my arms n neck it has a strong and irritating fragrance
None of these worked for me- 1.Juicy Chemistry lipbalm(samepinch)🥴 2.Earth rhythm lipbalm(the red variant) 3.Cosrx snail mucin(i donno whyyy,i had such high expectations from it though) 🥺 4.Earth rhythm spf50(Becomes really greasy after reapplication) 5.Indulgeo squalene(i like that its veryy light,but did nothing)instead i like the minimalist one,even though its thicker. 6.Minimalist sepicalm moisturizer. 7.Loreal HA serum. 8.Suganda Rosehip moisturizer(it slightly brightened the skin,but din moisturize my skin at all). 9.Earth collective hair serum for frizzy hair(but it made my hair even more frizzier). 10.Reequil 10% Vit C(no brightening,but hydrates). 11.Enn close beet lipbalm(it has such a beautiful colour but din help with my chapped lips so much). 12Plum e-luminence cream(i mean the fragrance🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️,i cannooott) 13.Dermaco 15% AHA (kept it for 5 mins,when i washed it off,my skin was kinda red and dry,not smooth or brighter,so that again a dud for me). 14.Dr.Sheths niacinamide toner(kinda drying,and does not give much of a result).

First of all, YES PLEASE do a top 10 lip balms. Since you like laneige, I know your recommendations would work for me as I swear by laneige. Also, I am so relieved to see that I am not the only one who didn't like the juicy chemistry lip balm. I don't get the hype about it. People compare it to laneige like how??? It legit just smells so strongly of orange and feels funny on the lips. And it's extremely oily.

The juicy chemistry lip balm actually used to make the skin of my lips soo hard, not chapped but used to give a weird texture to my lips. I’m not able explain exactly. But I got it after Shreya’s recommendation and had high hopes from it. But was very very disappointed. The body shop’s strawberry lip balm is much better than this. And the laneige one is my most favourite.

Hey Jovi please tell alternative uses of skincare and makeup products that did not deliver on its claim. That would be very helpful. I have eyeshadow pallette which came in a subscription box and it is pretty much meh.

There was a time when I loved all the jc products. Almost tried everything. They marketd about preservative free and all good stuff. I spend a lot of amount on their soap and body oils and butters. Actually only few products works, nothing gets absorbed into skin.as you said they sit on top of skin and get transferred to sheets and dress. Now using only their dry shampoo. Soaps are most failure product. It is of high quality but after few uses it never lathers and become useless.the organic and preservative free claim doesn't mean it will work. I almost used their products for two years and now stopped
Wow.. exactly my story. I bought so many products and then finally realised that they didn't work at all. My hair were limp and oily for 6 months, they never got used to their shampoo bars. Not even their liquid soaps. Their leave in conditioner makes hair oily, even if you take a grain sized amount. Whatever that I bought.. nothing worked. Their bestsellers like rosehip oil, hemp seed oil, chill horsetail hoil... Zero results. Tried earth rhythm shampoo bars.. they're good. Tried their skincare.. didn't work a bit. Then moved on to minimalist and now I am hooked and already repurchased products because they're working wonders. Us, they are cheaper.
Exact same story ! I have used literally 80% of their products. Body scrub soaps shampoo body butter baby body butter baby oil lip balms dint work for me. Only their hair oil worked for me
Oh ok...This time I bought many of their products & going to try what works for me. Their Hemp Tea Tree & Neem face wash worked for my son's acne. Even bha is suiting my teen son. Soaps are so far good. I used their chilli hair oil, mask & shampoo. No complains as of now.

Juicy Chemistry Blood Orange lip balm. The stuff everyone recommended. I brought it with highest expectations, it just didn't work for me. Didn't even keep it hydrated for more than 4 hours. I tried for a week thinking that it may work gradually, no such luck. Thanks for being so honest.

Watching this video made me realise how subjective skincare actually is. I think people should themselves try products cause they suit us so differently. The Plum Lipbalm in red velvet variant (your favourite) actually darkened and dried out my lips. I was just applying that Lipbalm during covid and was pretty happy. But, half way through I realised my lips turning black on the corners and tearing and flaking up. I completely stopped using it on lips. I bought the JC Lipbalm to reverse this and after 2.5 months, I can see how much pinkier my lips have become. They are slowly getting back to their original colour so I'm very happy with its result.
I felt like this for every body butter I hv ever used. I feel they sit on top of my skin and do not penetrate inside as compared to lotions which easily absorbs and provides hydration from within. I hv used body shop body butters, Nykaa body butters, same result always.

I totally agree with with you Jovi about the JC neroli tamanu oil body butter. I bought it last year. The smell is quite fresh and potent which I really like. But it leaves a sticky film on skin and doesn't get absorbed.

Jovi that plum mask is very useful.. It's kind of a mask that you apply overnight.. Apply a thin layer after a chemical peel leave it overnight! Your face will be so calm no redness
I bought jc lipbalm and their hemp seed oil on shreya's recommendation. Both products work for me. I guess the oil takes its sweet time to get absorbed into the skin and is so moisturising. Makes my skin so supple.
I totally agree with you Jovi.. I tried facewash from Aqualogica and I was disappointed only because it has fragrance into it.. it smells like shaving cream if I am not wrong.. everytime I go for facewash I don't see myself reaching out to Aqualogica facewash which is there sitting peacefully on my bathroom shelf. I feel their products are good minus the fragrance part. I don't know but the fragrance just don't appeal to me. Loved your video ❤️

Ok so coming to juicy che lip it worked abso freaking beautifully for me reduced a dark spot that I got due to a bad expired lipstick (that lasted 3 years before this lipbalms usage).Super moisturising. My lips were soft even after it faded. I did hear that it didnt work from 2 other influencers. Coming to the lips getting pinker . Mine definitely did but a better way to express would be they weren't as dull and pigmented as they were. They clearly looked more alive if that makes sense lol🤣. So it would reduce pigmentation due to external factors but not the one because of smoking or caffeine or the genetic one.So I would say 7/10 ppl would absolutely yyy love this. The rest 3 would find it avg or below avg. Subjective I guess.

The Juicy Chemistry lip balm did wonders for my chapped lips. I was able to wear a lipstick nicely the very next day after I started using the lipbalm.

The JC lip balm did nothing to improve my lip texture for the first week. But in about 3 weeks my lips became really soft and more pinkish (I have peachy pink lips). I probably won't buy it again tho but it's a decent product.

I really really loved the old earth rhythm lip butter from your recommendation. I thought I finally got the best lip balm for lifetime. As it was not shiny on lips but hydrates enough also no fragrance. Now they have changed their formulation. Im searching everywhere whether i can get that old one.

I got the Plum lip balm combo with both the bubblegum one and the berry one. I tried the bubblegum one first and for weeks i was confused because it didn’t do anything for me. Now I wanted to buy something else but I already had another tub of their lip balm in my cabinet. I almost gave it away but in the end I did try it. I absolutely love it! It doesn’t pile up, doesn’t peel or do anything that the bubblegum one did. The berry balm has a little tint that compliments my skin too (got a lot of compliments from others). It is a bit heavy (little goes a long way) and I’m not too big a fan of the taste (for either one) but it’s nice.

There was a time when I loved all the jc products. Almost tried everything. They marketd about preservative free and all good stuff. I spend a lot of amount on their soap and body oils and butters. Actually only few products works, nothing gets absorbed into skin.as you said they sit on top of skin and get transferred to sheets and dress. Now using only their dry shampoo. Soaps are most failure product. It is of high quality but after few uses it never lathers and become useless.the organic and preservative free claim doesn't mean it will work. I almost used their products for two years and now stopped
Wow.. exactly my story.
I bought so many products and then finally realised that they didn't work at all.
My hair were limp and oily for 6 months, they never got used to their shampoo bars. Not even their liquid soaps.
Their leave in conditioner makes hair oily, even if you take a grain sized amount.
Whatever that I bought.. nothing worked.
Their bestsellers like rosehip oil, hemp seed oil, chill horsetail hoil... Zero results.
Tried earth rhythm shampoo bars.. they're good.
Tried their skincare.. didn't work a bit.
Then moved on to minimalist and now I am hooked and already repurchased products because they're working wonders. Us, they are cheaper.
Exact same story ! I have used literally 80% of their products. Body scrub soaps shampoo body butter baby body butter baby oil lip balms dint work for me. Only their hair oil worked for me

Oh ok...This time I bought many of their products & going to try what works for me. Their Hemp Tea Tree & Neem face wash worked for my son's acne. Even bha is suiting my teen son. Soaps are so far good. I used their chilli hair oil, mask & shampoo. No complains as of now.

I'm using the exact same razor shown in video , it just worked so good for me. The blade is pretty Sharpe just got rid of fuzzy peachy hair in just one go
Juicy Chemistry Blood Orange lip balm. The stuff everyone recommended. I brought it with highest expectations, it just didn't work for me. Didn't even keep it hydrated for more than 4 hours. I tried for a week thinking that it may work gradually, no such luck. Thanks for being so honest.

Watching this video made me realise how subjective skincare actually is. I think people should themselves try products cause they suit us so differently.
The Plum Lipbalm in red velvet variant (your favourite) actually darkened and dried out my lips. I was just applying that Lipbalm during covid and was pretty happy. But, half way through I realised my lips turning black on the corners and tearing and flaking up. I completely stopped using it on lips.
I bought the JC Lipbalm to reverse this and after 2.5 months, I can see how much pinkier my lips have become. They are slowly getting back to their original colour so I'm very happy with its result.

I felt like this for every body butter I hv ever used. I feel they sit on top of my skin and do not penetrate inside as compared to lotions which easily absorbs and provides hydration from within.
I hv used body shop body butters, Nykaa body butters, same result always.
Use mcaffeine body butter
Maybe try the body shop body butters from the vegan range?
Try Plum body butter!
Try himalaya cocoa bodybutter

I totally agree with with you Jovi about the JC neroli tamanu oil body butter. I bought it last year. The smell is quite fresh and potent which I really like. But it leaves a sticky film on skin and doesn't get absorbed.

Neroli & Tamanu body butter from JC worked wonders for me. This is the best body butter I have used till date.

Jovi that plum mask is very useful.. It's kind of a mask that you apply overnight.. Apply a thin layer after a chemical peel leave it overnight! Your face will be so calm no redness

I bought jc lipbalm and their hemp seed oil on shreya's recommendation. Both products work for me. I guess the oil takes its sweet time to get absorbed into the skin and is so moisturising. Makes my skin so supple.

I totally agree with you Jovi.. I tried facewash from Aqualogica and I was disappointed only because it has fragrance into it.. it smells like shaving cream if I am not wrong.. everytime I go for facewash I don't see myself reaching out to Aqualogica facewash which is there sitting peacefully on my bathroom shelf. I feel their products are good minus the fragrance part. I don't know but the fragrance just don't appeal to me.

Ok so coming to juicy che lip it worked abso freaking beautifully for me reduced a dark spot that I got due to a bad expired lipstick (that lasted 3 years before this lipbalms usage).Super moisturising. My lips were soft even after it faded. I did hear that it didnt work from 2 other influencers. Coming to the lips getting pinker . Mine definitely did but a better way to express would be they weren't as dull and pigmented as they were. They clearly looked more alive if that makes sense lol🤣. So it would reduce pigmentation due to external factors but not the one because of smoking or caffeine or the genetic one.So I would say 7/10 ppl would absolutely yyy love this. The rest 3 would find it avg or below avg. Subjective I guess.

I think for lips, simple Vaseline is the best! I have also liked the lip balms from The Body Shop. Hope you're doing well Jovita. :D :)
I love the blood orange lip balm from Juicy Chemistry. I have always had chapped lips. And using this lip balm for the last year -twice or Max thrice a day has made them soft. Will always recommend.

I very rarely comment, but speaking of bad lip balms the dot & key one is really bad as well
The JC lip balm did nothing to improve my lip texture for the first week. But in about 3 weeks my lips became really soft and more pinkish (I have peachy pink lips). I probably won't buy it again tho but it's a decent product.

I tried the juicy chemistry body butter and I felt the same it sits on top of your skin and the soaps are so expensive but they don't lather and are waste of money.I even tried their facial oils and it didn't do anything for my skin too either...so am not going to buy any of this stuff from juicy chemistry anymore.

Hiii jovii is Niacinamide from eath rhythm is bad , because I ordered it when you Told it in your top 10 favourite.
I got the Plum lip balm combo with both the bubblegum one and the berry one. I tried the bubblegum one first and for weeks i was confused because it didn’t do anything for me. Now I wanted to buy something else but I already had another tub of their lip balm in my cabinet. I almost gave it away but in the end I did try it. I absolutely love it! It doesn’t pile up, doesn’t peel or do anything that the bubblegum one did. The berry balm has a little tint that compliments my skin too (got a lot of compliments from others). It is a bit heavy (little goes a long way) and I’m not too big a fan of the taste (for either one) but it’s nice.
