I played this game when i was 4 and i had no idea what I was doing. Its so nostalgic
i remember it was 97, or 98/99, and a friend of mine told me, "i am going at the internet caffe and play starcraft there, it is a new game, come with me", i think it was a summer sunday day, around 3 pm. that was my first contact with this game

Me and my step dad played the hell outta this game! Then I showed him we could play on dial up. It was over I got my own computer and we would go head to head and take turns playing online. So many memories
i am sorry about your father, our passed friends, relatives left us many memories, sometimes i miss them so much !!! i remember dial up days, speed was super slow and if you were online, you couldnt receive phone calls

Great fun to watch, if a bit stressful at times. The depots as barricades is brilliant. I've never done that, although I can't believe they never fell. Cool strategy there. However when fighting Protoss, #1, kill stuff shooting at you, #2 destroy pylons. Was so stressful watching him just sort of cruise over everything taking pot shots at him as he meandered his way toward one of the big structure targets.
Still, damn. that kill count!
hello, i share starcraft every 2 weeks on sunday, new video this sunday. i usually attack drones and nexus at the first. in fact, the first thing i attack is templar archive if i can.

i met this game in 97 or 98, not as a player, just as a spectator, a good friend of mine was addicted to this game and he always asked to come with him in the club where he played this game.
Having to play campaign in this game seriously improved my build, units, upgrade knowledge

When he entered the basement of protoss, he didnt see the aircraft producing was going on. He attacked to the probes. In that time one or two aircraft producted and attacked to his battlecruisers.

We got plenty of people who can do that in the normal hunters map in korea. Entrance sealed? Even I can do that
RTS definitely ruled my early gaming years. This, Red Alert 2, Battle Realms, Tiberium Wars, Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, and Warcraft 3 were the best. Now I just need to figure out how to play these games again on a modern laptop and at an optimized setting at the very least haha

I remember playing this like in early 2000s when I was like 5-6, Terrans were and are still to this day the faction I have the most fun with. Remastered is great btw and I used and still love map and scenario making. Also I had no idea the supply depot wall trick worked in SC1! Thought it was only a SC2 thing

Lol? If you haven't play starcraft 1v7 melee. This is how you play. Barricade yourself inside build to the max then rush out. The computer only rush first wave and second wave then they do nothing else lol.

Bro, you should try out using the EMP Shockwave ability with the Science Vessels. It wipes out the energy from the High Templar, so less Psionic Storms, and it nullifies the Protoss Plasma Shields, effectively cutting their hit points in half.
AI never thinks to make a fleet of GG flyers.
Back in the days when there were many choices of best RTS games. Impossible Creatures, CnC: Zero Hour, etc. And most important thing is multiplayer or the online mode was not a thing back then. I have always wanted to play with friends or brothers but I couldn't xD

@@GreplayTv not exactly. I worked a total of 44 hours for the week so I get 4 hours of overtime pay for the week on top of my 40 hour paycheck. The cost of living is insane this year so I have to ask for extra hours.

i forgot what clothes i had in 2001 but i remember my computer was pentium 286 i think, i hardly could run few games on it. and i had 3dfx voodoo graphic card. diablo was also amazing. and limb bizkit was a big band during that time.

I started playing this game at 9 years(im 11 now). I like terran but all the wikis say you need to play with protoss to win.
Pls use hotkeys, not so hard to use, on menu you have a help of starcraft.
usually i play with my right hand on mouse, and with my left hand i hold my head ( like in school position ). protoss is the best for beginers, terran for experts, zerg for super experts.

Big Game Hunter (BGH) . . . that was the map. Team up with a buddy and load up the map hack. 2v2 all day . . . Mass goons or hydras. LoL so much memories.

All those battle cruisers just siting there..
So many mistakes in the play (lack of yamato gun usage, defensive matrix would have been very useful, wrong target choices, late armor upgrade etc.) but brought back memories from the times 15-20 years ago.

2. i installed starcraft earlier from the blizzard website and i was able to run it properly. however, for some reason i cant train a medic. the medic wasnt even in the barracks so im not sure if they removed it or i just completely forgot how to play the game

I played this same scenario and was able to win against all the computer players, though I made it FFA, so they would attach each other as well.

I loved using ground units more than air! But I do love the site of two fleets of carriers riping shit up! Zealots and dragoons was my personal favorite build and dragoons are easy to Argo around and keep an eye on to pull the weak to the back of the group! Terran tanks and Goliath's or Marines and firebats. Zerg one word hydras. Protoss zealots and dragoons
i like big units in this game, on big game hunters, on smaller maps i used small units. dragoons are easy target for tanks in siege mode and for templars.
This was such a perfect rts well to me anyways! All the teams was equal and had their charms! The tank with protoss biggest threat was the zealot with leg extensions. One thing I found for a quick defense was with your tanks take a suv and start building supply depos then cancel construction and it will leave metal on the ground. Even tho looks like zealots can just walk through it still had the borders so cant go through! I bought Warcraft and it just didn't do it! C&c red alert I liked but was really slow!
@@digitalworms i like your ideea, with uncompleted depos as barricade. zerg are the worst of all, their only advantage is they can build at the same time 3 units/per lair/hive building. air units are super expensive.
@@GreplayTv Man zerg if you play them and really get em down they are straight chaos! The hydra I personally think just wreak alot and also best zerg unit in my opinion! But got to get movement speed and spit distance up! Upgraded zergling and hydra mix can take units down with ease if all upgrades are obtained! Now on broodwar if you can get quick lurkers Jesus it's over!

The NW corner is easy to defend. No big deal here. Try from the west side where there is limited gas on the original hunters.
4:58, the point where the Zealots arrive.. CPU's get rattled with shot at by bunkers behind a barricade, but if that was a human player, he'd focus fire all zealots on one supply depot and rush the bunkers to make a clearance. Not hating, just speaking through experience 😊
