- Here’s a nice and easy ‘Scalloped’ border to add to any size of Granny Square, be it a full size blanket or washcloth. You could also use it to change simple small squares into colourful coasters. Please do enjoy xxx

I would join all my squares normally and then add the scalloped border around it all. Instead of bordering each individual square.
