im not sure why but i find it extremely awkward to talk to anybody (my mum) about periods and your videos are so good at teaching people about periods which is super important, thank you Sharon ❤️❤️

I use to be like that I didn’t tell my mom that I needed more period stuff I use to write a note saying that when I was going to my friends house.I’ve gotten more comfortable with talking about periods since I was a teen girl.

In 5th grade when our teacher gave us “the talk” she told us the sharks can smell your period blood. And then three years later Sharon tells me that this is a lie. What is this education system like- 💀
I am concerned about the fact that people don't recognize these lies and think of them as the truth because I've known these facts since I started getting my period. We need to spread more awareness to women about their body and the processes that take place in our body. I absolutely love the work you do about spreading awareness to women on topics they feel uncomfortable talking about and don't know a lot of things about their own body. Lots of love Sharon 💕

i think it would be cool if you made a video about not as common symptoms like leg and back pain and dizziness and stuff like that and explain why we get them and ways to alleviate them. or also a video about like cramps and what is happening in your body when you get them. or even a video about how your period effects your mental health if it does at all. i don’t know if you’ve made a video about any of these before but i think it could be interesting
I have had my period since I was 12 and I’m almost 15 now but my period is very irregular. my cramps feel like I’ve gotten stabbed and they don’t stop for hours, sometimes days. Especially my first period I couldn’t even walk and they never stopped for 8 days😭😭😭😭

I hate my period because it lasts 7 to 10 days and then having brown discharge for another five days after. Also there is so much blood it so frustrating. Sorry TMI!
I had the same, for 12 days and it was so much blood I told my mum and we went to the gynecologist and she told me how I can handle that better and gave me medizine which really helped and now I am having only 6 days of period I hope it helps❤

The blood clot one was so true - on the 4th day of my first period when I woke up and went to the bathroom there was a giant blood clot it looked like some kind of maggot I got so freaked out.
When Sharon said the blood clots I was like I got those all the time just thought it was normal nope at not as much as I was having apparently I was extremely low on a type of vitamin or something take vitamins for that now so it’s not at all as bad as before. One of the biggest lies I was told about my period was when my mum said that if I put a pad on my bathing suit I could still go swimming and it’ll still collect my blood but I was like won’t it soak up the water and she said no it would it’ll only soak up your blood. And also to not go in the ocean but I did go into the ocean last summer and I got sand and all in the pad never gone swimming when I’m on my period since then.

I saw a video the other day. Scientists have concluded that period cramp pain is about equal to the pain having a heart attack. Also we bleed uncontrollably for a week. Something that I feel you should know is that everyone wants to share stories about their period and talk about it with their friends but it is tabu. For example: I got my period and the next day when my friend was asking me if is was good now or if I needed some more stuff, everyone else was really confused so I told them yesterday I bled through my pants. One asked me if it was my first and some others were like yeah and this is what happened on my first period.
when i got my period for the first time, i woke up with a brown spot and i wasn't sure if it was blood because i didn't know blood could be brown too. no one told me that it was only crimson red, so it was really just me being unaware. i also only had my period for 4 days the first time, and it was very light, but i just went with it since my body does what it wants 😭 i thought it always lasted a week but sometimes i have an 8th day where there's still a little bit of blood coming out. love your videos
Okay but you see, my mom got surgery -got her uterus ripped out :)- and so she doesn't have a period anymore. For a while i started my period early in the month, but i moved and some people moved in with us. Ever since then my period comes towards the end and synced up with my them. Brown just means the blood isn't super fresh. It can happen at the start of your period if your uterus starts slowly shedding and it takes a little while to make it out of you vs a heavier flow where the blood travels faster if that makes sense.
In my religion we can only wash our hair on Thursday and Sunday and also we can not go to a temple when we are on our periods. In some places in my country girls can't go in the kitchen and in some places girls can't even enter their house they are kept in a different house which is very small , only has one room. Some girls don't even use a pad they use clothes which is not hygienic at all luckily that's not the case with us and there are many people in my country who are taking a stand against it they go to cities , villages and give girls education on period show them how to use pad.

Maybe your pressuring yourself too hard. Try very small exercises. But you don't need to listen to me. I am 11 and not on my period.

Got exercise great but for me personally if I so much as do anything like run for 2 minutes or any other type of exercise I will get terrible cramps
i have a period question to clean down there do you get a specific wash to clean or do you just use body wash
So I would get an unscented wash like dove. You dont want a bunch of chemicals in your downstairs.
