Thanks for showing me how that connector worked, i was able to do everything with a ratcheting wrench from the bottom, hardest part was getting the danm connector at the top, but it only took about 45 minutes going in with your info, so thanks.
Ok I did it. About 3h total. Everything came out easy with the tire removed. New alternator is a TYC 100Amp. The bolt of the ground cable on the 100A is M5 and the original is M6. So I decided to use the original wire, and also added a second wire straight to Batt Neg. Tested and she now delivers 7A at idle with all the lights on and stereo bumping. Been chasing this electrical ghost off and on for 2 years. 3 new starters. 3 new batteries. Full parasitic draw tests with the probe shows she only used 10mA when off. Yet, we can put the bat on the charger all night, drive around the city, and by stop 2 or 3, she simply wont start. Low batt. Almost like parasitic draw, as if the output curve of the original was slightly compromised. This was my last thing to try. Nothing else makes any sense
@jonathanmusick2571 i think i took about 5hrs. Hopefully this fixes your dead battery issues. Having weird problems with these old nissans can be frustrating because they are not super popular like jeeps or whatever. It can be difficult to find any useful information to guide you in the right direction. I have a 2000 nissan pathfinder with a immobilizer key issue, nobody in the world can program keys for it including the nissan dealer. Not possible to bypass it, mite have to throw the whole car away because of a chipped key

Bro, all of you complaining about Nissan engineering has me LOL. I'm about to go do this now. Hahaha!
@jonathanmusick2571 lol, having one of those days. Just get yours in a comfortable working position.
