I'm pretty sure you have 2,024 inks to pick your favourites from! These are all lovely and the Glacier pen is gorgeous.
I don't have quite that many yet but I definitely had a lot of combos to pick from. The Glacier may be my favourite resin pen in my collection.
Great recap of your favorites.
Perfectly timed video -- I'm heading to Atlas Stationers in an hour for their Holiday Expo, haven't been there since August, when I enjoyed your workshop! 😊
Have fun at Atlas! Love their staff. They are so knowledgeable.
Have so much fun at Atlas! I adore the team there and getting to work with them.
Lovely pen and ink combos. This year I signed all of my Christmas cards using Diamine Tinsel in my Traveler's Company brass pen with a fine nib. Just checked it on sticky notes and it works well there too.
Such a great selection of pens and inks.
Thank you. There were so many great combos to pick from.
The Horizon in Glacier is a beautiful pen. Like you, every time I look at mine I tell it how pretty it is. 😂. I don’t think it makes my top 5 or 6 this year as far as writing experience, but it would make my top most beautiful list for sure.
Lovely list of pen/ink combos!
Thank you Julia! I adored your recap video this year and will have to implement your monthly ranking system in 2025.
Nice color choices!
Thank you
Love Russrt Typecase too
It is such a great ink colour. I didn't't think I was going to love it originally but it has become one of my favourites.
Herbin Vert de Gris in my Lamy 2000, they are married now.
I have a Kaweco Sport in Mellow Blue with a BB nib which I adore and it's almost always inked!!! This video was really fun!!!
Glad you enjoyed it.
I still often think of getting Midnight Blue Montblanc even though I have inks that compare to it closely... Same with Aurora Blue-Black. I don't really need it but yeah haha Also thanks for letting me see what my double broad Kaweco sport will look like before I ink it yet. Have you had any experience with Kaweco ink Sunrise orange? Thats the ink cartridge they put in the apricot for me. Russett Typecase reminds me of my new ink from Graf Von Faber Castell Cognac Brown.
The only Kaweco ink I have other than the standard blue cartridges is the highlighter one. I adore Montblanc Midnight Blue and it will probably be my first Montblanc repurchase.
@@alexandrasartinsanity Apparently i didn't look close enough and so the last two purchases I made of Aurora Pens came with ink... One was Blue Black and the newest Cognac ebonite was Sepia brown. So that's cool and unexpected! LOL I'll let you see the Kaweco Sunrise Orange when I get around to inking the sport up. it probably won't be until after Christmas and New Years though. Hemingway likes Midnight Blue Montblanc as well. I might end up with a bottle eventually. I've always wanted Irish Green as well, but I've already found my greens honestly.
My bottle of Midnight Blue was actually on Hemingway’s recommendation. I was talking to him about muted blue inks and he said that he thought I would like it.
@@alexandrasartinsanity Do you like Iroshizuku Tsuki-Yo?
I haven’t tried I yet. I have a few pink Iroshizuku samples and a bottle of Kiri-Same.
I was fascinated watching the mechanics of your writing. I have been trying to improve my handwriting and I noticed how your pen settled very low in your thumb. It seemed to block your view and pushed your writing effort down into your hand while the flexible control offered by the first joint of your thumb was not used as much. Everyone has different mechanics and unconscious habits developed over years. Hand mechanics in handwriting are so unique in the pen community. Great ink choices for your pens. thanks for your channel. Cheers
Thank you for watching the video. I had to relearn how to write at 18 (5.5 years ago) which completely changed how I write.
