I‘ve seen them several times now on UA-cam etc., but coudn‘t find a shop in Europe that carries them… I‘ll have to do some more research. :) The Kaweco Liliput (and also the Supra) come in Fireblue which is similar, but mine are a lot more blue than what I see on your Dakotas. Thanks for sharing !

To bring a few of the discussion topics together.... when a resin can be so varied, I really want to get that pen in person, though I rarely have the opportunity to go to an actual store. The Esterbrook Sweet Dreams for instance was so varied and it kept me from buying it. However, when I was in DC a few weeks ago, I went to Fahrneys and was able to buy one with the perfect resin mix for me!

What is the name and source of the pen case that Wendi held up at @58 min?

You guys are lucky that you can drive if you don’t want to fly. I live on an island and if I want to go somewhere, I have to fly. Good thing I love flying. 😅 I also love a road trip. For a weekend I would definitely take a drive. Split it up over days and have some fun on the way. Not sure if they still do, but Goldspot did an annual glossy. It’s fun to flip through and look at the pens.

Julia, if you’re looking for good paper try Midori MD notebooks and also try The Papermind notebook with Mitsubishi bank paper. Trying to help. My favorite paper is Midori.

Nice to see you all. Fun show. Need to shout out Aurora’s nib QC, I’d argue they are the top, though don’t have a Scribo. I love my Montegrappa Elmo 2 Plus with a find steel nib. Very good nib.

The MB 146 is on my top tier list, still about 4 pens away. My "Grail" is the Pilot Custom Urushi Blue $1,200. Some day.

That is so sweet your Mother is in this with you. It is great when someone supports you in this hobby. And I agree I bought a Asvine V200 for a great price and it writes sublime, but as you said it takes forever to clean it. I don't match my inks. I have full blown shimmer in it and has not clogged or hard started at all. Has a huge Broad Bock nib on it.

So many lovely pens! My favourites are probably those I also own - the Parker 45 and the Pelikan Twist. I have a Kakimori nib, too, but with a brass nib and the new Kakimori Forest nib holder, although I am yet to use it. So behind with my FP-related projects! And now I am making Valentine Day cards, with the local library, for the seniors in retirement homes.

Hi Alexandra,interesting conversation, and I make Ben right , you can't beat a cursive italic nib for dramatic flourishes and definitely adds a lot of flair to one's handwriting.
