  • A few people asked how long it took the Prestige A3+R DTF Printer to print out one design. I got the largest print I could and printed it out in real time so you can make the best decision for your business. Spoiler alert. It took long but if anyone knows dtf printing, It always takes long on most printers. However I have a solution that doesn't decrease the print time but it does allow you to maximize the use of your time. Let me know in the comments how long you timed this over sized print to print out and if you think my suggestion makes sense. Looking forward to reading your comments.

    I just want to let you know that your honesty and transparency is very much appreciated because that is what is needed in today's world but that is not what a lot of people give in today's world, a lot of people like to give dishonesty and deception.
    Anyone who seriously wants to do something in life on a positive note especially starting a business, they are going to do the footwork and not complain and come up with ways to be able to achieve their goals so don't worry about the people that complain because they are just making themselves look foolish and also on the other hand, there are ways to get things that they need like you said before in one of your videos, financing is an option but if they can't Finance then guess what it's called, -saving over time rather is putting away $10, $20 or $50 every now and then in a separate account for specific business items and let's not forget that tax time is here so people can use a part of their tax money to pay for half of whatever machine they want and finance the rest or buy it straight out.
    IJS
    Keep doing what you do because we need you.
    Have a great day.🌞

    As for the tray for the printer, add a piece of parchment or wax paper on the top and tape it on the sides so it will not move. This should allow the paper coming out of the printer a smoother flow instead of getting stuck. It probably is getting stuck because of the material it is made from along with humidity, etc.. it causes the paper coming out to catch and rub the top, as you stated.

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  Рік тому +6

      Yes it is but honesty all dtf printers are slow. Some are faster than others but the entire process for all printers is tedious. Think about making a shirt in general though. There is no process that is really fast. What process is fast? Dtg the entire process with pretreating the shirt then drying then printing, screen printing, forget about it super slow, embroidery forget it, sublimation is probably the fastest but it’s limited. Htv maybe a little faster or equal to this depending on the design because you have to cut and weed. No process is fast. All this stuff takes time. Gotta pick your poison.

    • @SHESMINAJ

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  Рік тому +3

      @@SHESMINAJ yea dtgs are faster at the printing part but you still gotta powder and bake. It’s not a system. There is no add on to make dtgs a system. With these printers at least you can add a powder shaker baker and roller onto it press print then go do something else while they are printing.
      You gonna spend thousand more a dtg to make one dtf transfer that you still have to manually powder and bake when you can buy an entire system for less that you can come back and have your dtf prints made and neatly rolled up? Just some things to think about. But we have options. Options are good because everyone’s plans are different.

      I’ve had mine for over a year now. If you keep it in a warm area and keep up with your maintenance you will be fine. I have never had a clogged print head but I kinda did my own thing from day 1 because the way they recommend you clean the printhead just made no sense to me. I never use the jig. I just use a mirror and kinda gently but firmly go to town on the outside of the heads then on the heads with the lint free wipes. I’ve made videos showing how I clean my print head and I’ve never had issues. When I first go mine however it would stop printing in the middle of solid black designs and give me a no ink error. For months they sent me parts and had me change out different pieces including the working print head, ink casing, mother board and nothing worked. Ricoh had me ship it back to them and they fixed it. Since then it does everything fine. They never really said what the issue was but one of the things they said was that the print head was clogged but that didn’t make sense because full color images always printed fine it was only solid color black images. But black parts in full color prints printed fine so….. idk.

That would be worth it to you? I Persia log would rather be able to walk away and do something else and come back later and all my prints are done and rolled up and ready to be applied. Lol. Why would you guess that? We are definitely not in the same boat. I never said that please don’t make guesses on my behalf just ask because people read this stuff and assume I said it. Where did you get that from? i make a bunch of money daily on my equipment. How many printing methods do you have. I get a job and decide what method I want to use. If this was all I had then this is what I would use. Not having a shaker is not an excuse for not taking jobs and making money. If someone asked you to make a batch of shirts or transfers and you say no. That’s on you. I’m just trying to figure out where that came from. I never said that. It’s more efficient but you will never get to the efficient part if you don’t work to that point for the business to pay for the shaker baker machine. Don’t make excuses, just do the work. You have the equipment. Don’t say say you don’t have the other pieces so you are not making money. That’s definitely an excuse. I’ve worked my way up since weeding vinyl by hand and embroidering full color designs on a single needle embroidery machine. I didn’t say (well i only have a single needle so I can’t make money). Make it happen no matter what you have. Don’t make excuses and please don’t guess, just ask me. I would not be able to have a studio if i didn’t make money. I’ve been making money since I had an ink jet printer and transfer paper. No excuses.

      @@ajochoa6216, all 4 printers didn’t work right out the box, they basically wanted me to break the rollers on the 2nd one, we did… printed, and all we got was a mess of lines thru out our prints… it just wasn’t for us… ALL 4!! We have pics to prove the train wreck… look at the reviews.. don’t go by the reviews from influencers!! They only trying to sell so they can get a kick back!!

      @@ajochoa6216, I’ve been using the Epson 8550!! I’ve had it for over a year now, and it’s still going strong!! The keyword to all these printers are MAINTENANCE!! Daily… which means keeping those white inks shook and cleaning your capping station and rollers…
