I just started using my prestige a3+r 3 months ago. Thanks for showing me how to clean my print head because it had stopped printing color, so I thought it was broken. Needless to say, it worked after the print head cleaning!!
A-Dubb coming through again!! Thank you for the content worth making, watching and bookmarking to watch again. So much appreciation for your effort. I'm hitting your site for some merch just to support you a tiny bit like you are supporting us.
Thanks for the video, two things to note on .1 put your finger to the far right of the ink bay an push.the ink buy will slide over about a 1/4 in to make it easier to flip the wiper . 2 clean the ink bay an wiper, when ever you are finished printing for the day.
I had a few I thought were dull too. Cleaned up everything like you. I even created my own cmyk swatch instead of trusting that nozzle check. Rgb color conversion was the problem. Compared both and my swatch was way brighter. Now I just put dtgpro solution in my spare dampers to rest inside and start the day with head clean.
Pull back on the area u cleaned right beside of wiper blade. It has a little ledge on the right close to the wall of the printer. When you pull that back plastic piece over its made to easily pull wiper blade up. Learned that in another video.
Your videos are very helpful, thank you, my a3+R white ink is not white and ark garments, is gray for some reason, and not even the customer service people can figure that out, what do you recommend?
@JuanCastro-dx1jk i haven’t had that issue. The white under base should make the colors pop. You probably are not laying down enough white. It should be a solid white with no colors showing through.
@@adubbproductions and that’s how it is looks like after printing but once I pres it it goes gray, the only work around I that I found was to doble the amount of white ink on the settings, but 3 mayor problems comes from that, first the time to finish a print is astronomical, 20 minutes in a regular 15x15 print, second the consumption of white ink doing it this way is absurd and third because there are 2 layers of white ink the ink starts to drift and it comes out of the borders ruining the print, the one thing left to do is to change the white ink because it might be contaminated, I just don’t know contaminated ink can do that, what are you thoughts?
I was told to not ever touch the face of the print head so this is interesting . Gonna see if this works on an old one they say was damaged that looks completely fine .
Yea. I was told the same thing. When they are dirty how do they expect us to clean them? They just want us to go buy new printers Every time. I clean all my printers like this. They all come back to life after.
Thanks for this video I am going to save it for when I purchase my Prestige A3+R. Im dead 💀 😂the way you said magenta and blue 😂 Wheres the link for that cart? Whats the weight capacity?
It’s the Season Change!!! The Room Temperature & Humidity is going to Make a Night & Day Difference!!! Try to keep the Room from 65 - 72 Degrees and 45 - 55 Humidity. The less often you touch your print head the better off you are!!! It’s like a lens screen better not touch it if you don’t have to.
Agree. In this case it wasn’t dirty but in my experience dtg wise it’s impossible to not touch the actual head and get great prints.z it eventually has to be cleaned but if the room is warm enough you can go a long time and be ok,
In need of help! I have the prestige A3+R and can’t seem to have the setting of ink correct or doing something wrong. My prints are coming out dull and line looking marks instead of a full solid print. Can you help me figure out the best settings for bright and clear prints? What causes the line marks on each print?
No. Unfortunately I don’t. Never had to do it. I think you need to take off the head and touch just the head portion in cleaning solution and leave it sit for a few days. Just the part that the ink comes out off. You are going to have to create a way to sit just that portion in cleaning solution to break down the clog.
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey Good news and it is funny how it came about. I went to the dentists Friday. After I stop at my friends children colthing store. I mention I am doing sublimution on children cl.othing. She ask me to make some for her store.
Changed out my white All American ink to the new Color Max because my white was "OLD" is what they said. Did all the things, maintenance daily(wet capping), Dampers are new and pull ink, cleaned the print head and did the head strike vidoes available...still no white and cannot pull anything from the waste tank line at all but air!! 😥 Prints are printing colors beautifully but no white at all. . Sooooo does this mean i have a headclog because the ink will not pull through? And does this mean I need a new printhead? Any last resort ideas?
If you are able to pull air the lines are not clogged so that eliminates that possibility. If you keep on pulling and no ink is coming out that means you have no ink in that specific line. If you keep pulling and there is ink in the line the ink would come out. Maybe you might see a little bit of ink in the lines but you do t have enough pulled in from the actual ink cartridge things. That’s the issue I was having at first. Gotta use the syringe and pull ink into the cartridge first. Make sure you’ve pulled in ink using the plastic screen on the back of the cartridge. Gotta place the tip on the syringe to stick threw the tip and bottom of cartridge. Might have to cut the tip a little and almost push it threw the hole kind till it gets in there. Almost feels like a slight puncture. Hope that helps.
Why when I print does it double print. Like on the end of the word I print one of the letters would be almost like it was double printed. On images does great but words is another story
In his earlier video it shows when he got the printer... But if u clean around your printhead everyday u shouldn't have to do this unless u have a clog.
I’m having an issue with the two red lights on the front of the printer blinking at the same time. Any ideas on what that might be? I used your video to clean the print head thinking that might help but it didn’t. The printer was working all day, turned it off for about an hour and when I turned it back on they started blinking.
I think i had that issue. Is your waste container full? After you empty it out manually you have to use the application they had you install on your computer to clear it out. It’s not the dtf station app either it’s the other one. I’m gonna have to make a video on it. O sure that’s the issue. It won’t let you do anything right? I had that.
That is unfortunate. I am definitely going to push it to test it’s limitations. So far it is holding up great and the more I use it the more I like it for the price. I still want a bigger one but this will do for now.

Awesome tips. Thank you. I really appreciate that.
Thank you so much for this video 😊I was able to clean the print head I’m back to printing beautiful prints thank you!!!!!
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 great. Thanks for watching. Glad to help.
Thank you for this video. I was able to do the maintenance. Printing like a new machine again.
My pleasure. Thanks for watching.
U all ways come through my guy appreciate you mane.
Thank u for all your help before I decide to buy a printer
Thanks for the info, man. I'm going to try this and see if it helps.

Does it put down a noticably white under base?.
@@adubbproductions yes, it looks really good on the film, but once is pressed it turns out gray every single time
@JuanCastro-dx1jk i haven’t had that issue. The white under base should make the colors pop. You probably are not laying down enough white. It should be a solid white with no colors showing through.

My white underbase won’t print at all I was hoping you had tips on it but haven’t seen anything about it in any of your videos
For future reference, DTF Station says it is okay to clean the printhead. When you do clean and dry the printhead, rub in one direction.
Ok thanks. Do they have a video showing you how to clean it?

I never had Temperature or Humidity issues with DTG to be Honest.
DTF is More Temperamental.
Thank you for your content. I have a Prestige A3 Plus R. Have you had any issues with double red lights blinking?
That means you printer needs cleaning wipe off all the visible stuff. Carefully.

Hey Melissa, did you follow the steps in this video? This should fix that issue. Sounds like your printhead needs to be cleaned.
what cart is that?
Allan what computer would you recommend for this printer I have a IMac and I hear it’s not compatible with a lot of equipment
What heat press platen covers do you use? TIA
I got them from Heat Transfer Warehouse.

What kind of car lift is that?
when installing this (Prestige A3+R) did you pull the ink using Syringes to the head ? or this printer don't need that ?
I definitely pulled the inks into the cartridges with the syringe. Yes i did.
Quick question anyone would know whey my yellow prints a hint of black in it at first ?

Y don't they sell the a3 wit the roller and oven shaker i hope i said that right i want it to be on the roll and go thru the oven
Good question @aaprintsupplyco she needs answers.
It would've be nice to know how long he has been printing before he needed to clean.
In his earlier video it shows when he got the printer... But if u clean around your printhead everyday u shouldn't have to do this unless u have a clog.
How do I prevent the white ink from pooling
I’ve never had that issue. If your printer is laying down too much white ink reduce the white ink in the color settings.
I’m having an issue with the two red lights on the front of the printer blinking at the same time. Any ideas on what that might be? I used your video to clean the print head thinking that might help but it didn’t. The printer was working all day, turned it off for about an hour and when I turned it back on they started blinking.

I had a similar issue. In my case the waste container was empty. The DTF station tech advised to clean the metallic strip with a lint wipe. It worked.
Does the prestige print photo?
Yes
What happened to customer service
Customer service? Idk what happened to them?
This machine is not being sold by a canadian dealer because consumers are pushing the machine beyond its capabilities. Really sucks though!
That is unfortunate. I am definitely going to push it to test it’s limitations. So far it is holding up great and the more I use it the more I like it for the price. I still want a bigger one but this will do for now.
