The summer song of 1999 in UK. Massive hit in Europe and well deserved!
It really was! The #01 airplay song for the 1999 year in UK!
I'm glad I lived all that wonderful time.
@@Yuriclay 🙌🏼🙌🏼 same here! 😂
she is absolutely stunning in this video, this song was very successful at the time
She looks amazing in this video. REALLY AMAZING
She's the master of soundtracks
This was actually written for the sountrack to one of the Austin Powers movies, which is why the video features Austin Powers. Madonna actually has written/recorded quite a lot of tracks for movie soundtracks, including a James Bond title track. She even has 2 soundtrack albums credited to her (Who's that girl, and Evita) and a third "movie" album inspired by Dick Tracy called I'm breathless.
Loved her look in this era!
The song has a retro (1960s) feel to it, which fits the film perfectly! Madonna looks fantasic here!
Biggest summer hit 1999 in Europe !!!!! Wonderful song !!!!!
One of my dad’s favorite songs from Madonna I also really like this song
Your dad? 😂 Man you just made me feel so old 😂 I used to dance to this song in my 20s
She looks absolutely stunning in this video
Hi Marissa, Tyler.
I recommend "Dress you Up" where you will see a very young Madonna, in early 80's, dancing and singing alive (oficial video).
It'll blow your mind, i think.
Big hug from Chile 🇨🇱👍
Beautiful Stranger was a nice switch up after the seriousness of the Something To Remember/Evita/Ray Of Light eras.
Once you get through all her official videos you all must see her live!
This is a big hit back then
Soundtrack videos are so often full of just a bunch of clips from the movie. This one did a good job of channeling the vibe without becoming an extended trailer.
It's released as part of the second Austin Powers movie in 1999, thus Mike Myers dancing along.
This is such an underrated song
I'm with you guys .. This is a GREAT song ! .. One of my faves from Madonna for sure .. So many catchy melodic sections to it, and a cool sensual feel overall .. Doesn't get mentioned enough IMHO when talking about her best stuff .. Thanks for your reaction 👍.. Cheers, Wayne
This is one of my favorite songs ever, I really enjoy the chill vibes
During my college years, I'd get up early just to watch this video on vh1 before heading to class. It's just a fun song. 🤗
Madonna at her most playful. Just good clean(??) fun. Great song and video. Glad you guys enjoyed.
One of best singles, so joyous.. musically it's based around two late 60s bands the doors and love, specifically the track 'she comes in colours'
Great song, nice mv, love your reaction💜💜💜
Great reaction and perfect song and video, winner of grammys and vmas
American life uncensored version next please!
Madonna was beautiful in this times '98 - '99.
Ray of Light era
For other great Madonna soundtrack songs, check out "Into the Groove" (from the film Desperately Seeking Susan, which Madonna starred in), "Crazy for You" (from Vision Quest), and "I'll Remember" (from With Honors).
For non-soundtrack songs, "Music" and "Borderline" are essential singles that should be part of anyone's Madonna musical journey.
@German Morawski Absolutely! There are so many gems on her first few albums and the soundtrack singles from that time period. Great call on "La Isla Bonita", that's one of her finest.
"Gambler" is a great Madonna song from Vision Quest too! And "This Used to Be My Playground" which was used at the end of A League of Their Own
MADONNA❤️
Love when the guy laughs. He’s a cutie
I enjoy watching their reaction videos. Both are great and are honest
First time hearing?!!! I was obsessed with the remix and song back in 1999 and danced my behind off at clubs to it. But then again I’m not middle aged 😂😂😂😂
Whenever I'm having a bad day I play BEAUTIFUL STRANGER yo... ❤🔥
Songs a banger, old school brit pop
The austin films are all amazing..
The shots with austin and Madonna in the car, there like meant to be what austins day dreaming when he sees Madonna in the club.. its amazin lol
Thanks, Marissa! Thanks, Tyler! 🟢 #TylerCreatesContent #TCCReacts #BeautifulStranger #Madonna
1999, Madonna dancing so hot , lord have Mercy!
Madonna and Mike Myers have been friends for decades, since he was working on SNL, you can see that in the video, they are having a great time joking around.
Mike Meyers (Austin Powers) and she have a lot of great skits together. You should check out their Coffee Talk skit or their Wayne's World skit on SNL. Both are hilarious 😂. I love when Madonna brings out her sense of humor.
Great song!
Fantastic song and video, she smashed it with this back in the day, please react to ‘give it to me’ ❤
Tyler… Did you say “Bruh” twice during a Madonna video?
I was in High School when it come out
I used to have something against this song for the looooongest time, maybe it was because it was at the height of when Madonna was all about British culture and life, (going as far to have a "faux" British accent at one point lol) now, I just feel it's a good song, (now that I really sat with it for years haha).
It wasn’t faux. She lived in Britain during that entire period. She bidialectal. It’s extremely common. Especially when living immersed, married to and surrounded with the accent.
@@slimlouis6441 100% True, I moved to the US 8 years ago and have an Americanized accent now, but when I go back home for a couple of weeks everyone at work can tell because I sound more Scottish again.
1:43 - i love your face reaction xDDDD
Yeah 0:18
so Madonna did a cover version of Fever (amazing video) and American Pie. you should react to those!
I'm curious as how you would receive something from her debut LP like "Physical Attraction?" You should check it out.
From movie Austin Power
React to Fever by Madonna...the music video is amazing
You are right about the psychedelic vibe...in fact, the song was inspired by Light My Fire by The Doors
@German Morawski oops, I corrected...thanks 🙂
React to Madonna iconic "VOGUE" its one her classics♥️
HE IS AUSTIN POWERS
React to Madonna's "I Want You"
I never really liked the Austin Powers franchise but I like the music video it’s strange but adorable
The song has a psychedelic feel because it’s from the Austin Powers movie. In the films Austin Powers is a man from the 60’s.
Reaction Angel22 - Gadejo 💓 please 🥺
Nice reaction to one of Madonna’s better ones.
Guys, I have asked a million times, please please please react to ABBA (live in Wembley, London) singing “The Way Old Friends Do”.
You don’t know what you are missing here. This came out out so good that they included it on their next album as a live track.
Thanks 🙏🏻
Please react to Fever music video!
If you want to react to a great song, try "ELO's - Tight Rope", guess how many instruments are used, and it has a Halloween spooky flavor, esp at the start. Jeff Lynne is a great writer..
That wasn't a fake Austin Powers that was Mike Meyers the real Austin Powers. Madonna was hired to write a song for the soundtrack.
whaaaat!? you did not watched austin powers? well you should because you would understand why austin is how he is plus you would understand why that music video has a psychedelic vibe to it.
THAT WAS AUSTIN POWERS!! - it's really important to do the tiniest bit of research to at least know the release dates of the songs you review. For context sake. Informed opinions are the best opinions. P.s. this song and 'American Woman' by Lenny Kravitz were the best things to come out of that comedy franchise. Well, that and Beyonce's disco fro.
I take it they've never seen Austin Powers
i definitely havent!
This song is from the soundtrack from the second Austin powers film Austin powers the spy who shagged me (1999) sounds familiar is because it tooked after a James Bond film the spy who loved me (1977)
You should also react to her “American Pie” video, it’s a re-make of a classic and I prefer Madonna’s version much better to the original.
You're only young first-time
Can't remember having it ever heard in Germany, but actually it isn't bad at all (musically).
Maybe my generation raised with the music of the 60's - 80's, were essentially fed up with Madonna's over-sexed performances. It really got boring after almost 2 decades - and pubescent
Awful song by an awful so called singer. . I lament the days of real stars, Diana Ross, the Abba women, Karen Carpenter and Dionne Warwick... with real voices.
Sorry guys not following any Madonna songs with you but love your Abba content.🙃
Grammy-award winning song by a Grammy-award winning singer 🙂 Madonna was also nominated for Best Pop Vocal Performance for this song, so your opinion obviously differs greatly to that of the Academy members 🙂
Do live to tell ballad great song or living for love best vocals
Do god control or crave from madame x both great songs ones about gun control in à dance song and crave with swae Lee great ballad 2019
