My favourite spot for afternoon tea is at the Dorchester. I went with my friend and her son, absolute perfection. This is by far the best afternoon tea I’ve had. The setting is beautiful, the food is excellent and the service was perfection. Special touches were made as it was my birthday celebration and our waiter named Anwar was an absolute delight. He is an absolute credit to the Dorchester, I would go there again, I also liked the savoy.
@@Cathy0932 Im glad you liked it at the Dorchester! I have heard good things and eventually I will visit them for afternoon tea. The hotel had a great history. I love it when they go the extra mile and it makes us in turn feel so special. I hope you had a lovely day. ♥️ ps I second the savoy ;)
I will visit London next Spring and would like to try an afternoon tea for the first time. Is there any etiquette to the afternoon tea. Are those sweet refillable? Can I take what leftover home? Is there a place for solo? Thank you!
Ah spring time is the best time to come and your’re almost garenteed to have pleasant weather. They have different rules for different places and sometimes it’s a great idea to check the website for certain etiquette in regards to dress attire before going. Sweets are generally not refillable but sandwhiches are at most places. If you don’t finish your refilled sandwhiches than you may also take them home. You can go solo if you wish but the occasion is better enjoyed with company ! Hope that helps🙏
Why am i always so hungry after watching your tea videos! 😆. Youre the first ive heard talk about the goring. I gotta try it. Maybe do a vid on the new royal albert 100 year annv. teacups? I got the Wanda today. Magnificent 👌
Oh well it’s easy to get an apetite while while drooling over pastries ;) The goring is magnificent it’s one of the monarchs well loved, I did see the new collection and I think that is a wonderful idea thankyou ! ✨
I’m sorry this was not very helpful for you. I will try include more lower end ones when I find out more but the truth is in London they aren’t many that are worth it under a certain price, however other places in the uk have fantastic deals for afternoon tea that really give London prices a run over. I have a video of one coming soon, so if you like you can stay tuned.
loved this great video. your voice is sooo soothing
Why thankyou so much ! ✨
i agree 😩😊
The best part of afternoon tea, is the person who joins you. You certainly know the best places.
Thanks Alice!! ♥️

@@alissafairford3592 hehe thanks for the comment 💋
Not very helpful for the lower end venue info. Asking us to go to a normal retail, is a bit of mockery.
