I am unfortunately a nervous flyer, took one bad time of turbulence to ruin flight for me 😅. Watching your videos really helps me cope with my fear of flying. Massive respect. I wish I didn't have the fear to try my hand at flight school, but it is what it is. keep doing what you do.
Nice, stabilized approach into moderate turbulence. Notice how the pilot made small yet immediate corrections with the flight controls to remain stabilized. Also, consider that there is an input lag, the aircraft doesn't respond right away. It is like herding cats with a 10 foot wet noodle. This pilot certainly keeps up his training.
Loss and gain of 10kts.Max yaw damper away aaaand greased it! It is always an honor to ride along with you brother. You do such an amazing job keeping your head in the game dispite the cameras and always way ahead of the aircraft. Thanks again for bringing us along and give Goose a huge hug for me please. 👍😁
Awesome video! I love how you verbally double-check things. And yes, the views are terrific. You, Steveo1kinevo and Premier 1 Driver are my favorite aviators-- you're all so chill and professional!
Just found your channel, I can't wait to start flight school. I loved how clear everything was, seeing the atmosphere and your attention to detail was very nice. Thanks, take care.
That was a sporty take off and climb. I remember flying with my dad once over some of the mountains in California. The constant up and down. Could even see the wings flexing. Boy what a ride back then and now today after seeing your video. For me it was a fun ride. Nice landing Max. Looked like a greaser to me too.
That was a crazy approach. Serious turbulence. But, like always you "greased" it. You are by far my favorite channel on UA-cam. Absolutely love your videos. Thank you Max.
I always fly out of Love Field on Southwest and you see smaller private jets every time. This is a different point of view from inside of your Citation. Thanks for sharing.
Citation Max, I really love your avionics upgrade you did! Absolutely stunning! It's always a pleasure watching you, thanks a bunch for sharing! Stay safe and fun!
Nice job. I've been ASE based for 21 years - all weather day/night. It's often a bit of work but having special instrument approaches, especially at night helps a lot. Having 3 engine Falcons gives us additional flexibility.
Another question. WHen you need to go to the bathroom, do you leave your seat? I know that AP is taking care of everything for thousand of miles, but how do you handle the traffic following the radiostation that is contacting you meanwhile?
I want to thank you. The scenery was beautiful. It must be amazing being a pilot flying to different locations. Amazing job with the flying. Thanks for sharing.
“… that landing was spicy …”. Good description! Lol. Max you avoid the temptation to speak too fast that usually comes with familiarity. You hear it in lots of contexts - controllers, pilots, FM radio, even drive thrus at fast food places. You are always clear and easy to understand. Thank you .
Max you always make some of the smoothest landings ever but this one was exceptional to land in Aspen with all the cross wind was remarkable, love flying with you when ever I get a chance...lets go flying...
Thanks for taking me along Max. I just love watching your videos. Very informative and I just love your thoroughly professional approach. Best regards from the Giant’s Causeway coast of Northern Ireland. 😄👍☘️
Appreciate finding your channel Max, thoroughly enjoying your competent flying of the Citation and those stunning views you offer! . . . (Even though I'm personally more of a 'rotary winged' guy, your videos are immensely satisfying to watch! . . . ) Keep'em coming my friend & Safe Flights Always! 👍 Cheers from 🇳🇴
ASE tip to not have to use speed breaks, be fully configured on final speed by DBL or on the base leg being vectored. Always fun going there with the winds coming off the mountains. NICE job!!
Flown into ASE hundreds of times in 3 models of CJs over the years. Never had to use a speed brake. If I ever had to use them, I had screwed something up. They scare the pax.
Awwh envie is what I see and understand you have the coolest employment, that I am confident you enjoy and love. Absolutely great! I'm almost retired and would like to take time w you on your endeavors.
WOW!! Yet ANOTHER great video! You have the market on greased landings!! ALWAYS a pleasure to watch and witness each and EVERY video.. Can't wait until each time you post a new video..
Holy Milk Shake Max ! Great landing and as always a butter landing. I definitely agree that turbulence all the way down from 17000 to touchdown was crazy... As always, my friend, thanks for sharing your flight; be safe ! CYA
Oh man! I do wish you had the whole thing on video! This is music to my ears, and this airplane sounds like a real gem! Even if it were in audio-stereo, I wouldn't mind, because I can visualize in my mind what's going on. Of course, those who can see would, so I'm certainly not above that.
I work as a dean in the education world, and I can tell you that Max’s channel does a great job teaching… Max, I hope you are teaching in your local pilot programs.
Beautiful landing - that's a creepy amount of red on the TAWS coming in! Cool to hear about your mentoring, you seem like you'd be a great guy to learn from.
Great video, as always. I got a chuckle from the ad that popped up, “Aspen Dental!” And the naughty part of me kept thinking, 13:25 “It’s gonna get a little boring for the next couple of hours”……….(unsaid) “and I have to pee.” 😀
Just a quick question, at 5:10 isn't it usually standard practice that you can switch to tower frequency once you pull up to the hold short line (or are past your last possible taxi conflict)? Thanks.
Thank you, although I think I missed the drink cart? Very informative, can you imagine in the winter? Great scenery, harsh turbulence, but you stuck the landing, congrats.
Awesome flying Max. We use to fly into Aspen, to go skiing at Snowmass, at first with United Airlines, when they used BAe-146, and later when they switched to CRJ-900s, always loved the approach and the Takeoffs from a high altitude airport, not sure how a pilot feels. P1D flew into aspen a while back with his TCAS going off.
@@Rev1Kev I was based in Denver in my days flying the CRJ. Getting Aspen qualified was a good way to get guaranteed CRJ-700 flying when the Embraer 175 started taking most of the CRJ-700 routes from Denver. Word on the street is they have been working hard to get the 175 certified for Aspen, but they will probably have to remove some seats to get the numbers to work.
Hi Max, just joined up, watched quite a few of your flights and just come along for the ride. I don't fly, besides a glider, some years ago and an old Piper Cherokee tug plane. I always wanted to but over here in the UK it is a pretty elite club, costs a fortune and the amount of red tape and beurocrisy is immense, if you've flown over to Europe you'll know what I mean. It is nice to see free flying without all the bull, nice landscape to fly over and I find it a relaxing way to pass some time. Great camera work. Regards Richard 🇬🇧
Amazing video once again Max, that turbulence was sure nasty but handled like the pro that you are👌Spectacular scenery indeed, I now know where my next sim flight will be👍
Your entire demeanor changed within seconds when that turbulence rolled in lol!!!! 🤣🤣😂😂☠️☠️ You handled it well tho great flying Max!!!! Turbulence sucks!
Nice! I have flown into Leadville, CO in a 172. Flew around in the valley below (South of) Aspen. Those mtns are so cool. Costs too much to land in Aspen. Leadville is just to the east over the Collegiate Mtns. Learned to fly in Colorado Springs so needed to mountain qualified if really wanted to see stuff.
Max you are my 6 years old son hero, he keeps saying he wants to be like you when he’ll grow up ! Cheers from Italy !
The thing about being such a good pilot is that you make the hard stuff look easy. Nice job Max, always enjoy your vids.
Then theres me, a idiot, who makes easy stuff look hard
As a student pilot you amaze me at the non stop staying ahead of the plane Great job
When I was going to school, Aspen was the dreaded instrument approach. Max made it a piece of cake. Well done!
Nice! The communication with the tower is always so smooth. No awkward silence ever!

Nice video max! You need a shirt with the caption: “greased it.” 😂👍
I'd buy one!
I will buy it too
"Greased it" Socks coming soon! Thanks for watching!

Love when the ATC recognizes 2RF 👍
durango co was a pretty scary airport too, the plane was practically sideways and the turbulence was so bad you were bouncing out of your seat.
Very nice job, Max. A great display of professional aviating skills.
Beautiful flight Max and a awesome landing as always. Thanks for taking me along!
You're such a lucky guy flying this beauty over a wonderful landscape. Thanks for sharing these amazing views.
Max, spicy approach for sure...handled like the Pro you are...thanks for the ride along...

i said your last video was the best one yet and couldn't think it could be topped.. but i was sweating on that approach. Great landing!
That was a pretty exciting landing Max! Glad I came along for the ride!
Did you ever want to fly commercial, you would be a great captain, very humble and knowlegeable

Congratulations Captain Max. Very nice to fly with you. Continue with videos like this. God bless you!!!🙏
THAT is professional piloting. So awesome man. And loved the "Yaw dampener away... Greased it" at the end.
