It’s almost like this crap would stop if ejections like this happened more often. It’s pathetic when teams get someone back by beaming them instead of trying to strike em out. It’s pretty much saying ‘he’s too good for us.’
Baseball players have the softest egos of any athletes..so the batter looked in your direction after a Homer and Austin Peays response is "Lets beam him in the head" baseball players are mentally softest players in sports. This is flat out embarrassing.
Good call. Look at catcher's stance on the homer, then his stance on the "wild", then his stance as he's setting up for the 2nd pitch. Catcher was anticipating the "wild" pitch.
If you look at the pitch that was hit you will see the way the catcher normally is situated. For the head shot he has his right leg ready to push out to catch the missed head shot. It came out later that the ump did not originally call the foul until the catcher looked down to his left arm and said, " we'll get you next time". That's when the ump jumped in.
LU getting some much deserved publicity from espn. I'm surprised they'd do that considering how LIBERALLY mental espn has been the past decade and a half.
Pitchers are the most entitled people in sports. So what if you threw a meatball and got dingered just put your head back up and pitch. Don't need to throw an 90 MPH pitch to someone's head.
Umpires did a good job by getting together to discuss. There definitely was intent. Hit HR, runner taunts bench after crossing home plate. Pitcher throws at same player next at bat. Definitely ejection worthy. I would of gave warnings
I support the home plate umpire not making a rash decision and ejecting the pitcher without conferring; also it seems like the third base umpire, possibly the chief umpire, called for the umpire huddle. I also support ejections for anyone with knowledge that a pitch would be thrown at any batter for any reason, sure it was only 87 mph and he got out of the way but I have seen a friend on the opposing team take a pitch to the head in 6th grade baseball be evaluated and deemed safe to continue playing only to collapse halfway to first. In that case it was completely accidental, but this seemed initial and has no place in the game. If you want to send a message, like a fight in hockey, aim for the hip; it might hurt him but you aren't likely cause severe injury if they don't move. (Also my friend ended up being fine, just had a concussion and returned to playing a couple weeks later.)
I don’t know what’s more embarrassing. Throwing a baseball at someone because they smashed your pitch, or having to throw people out of a game for throwing a ball at someone.
Looking at it when the ball is halfway in flight the catcher was actually not ready for that pitch. Pitcher aimed right at the dude's head though, so he was in the wrong. Throwing behind someone or hitting someone with a ball can be dangerous, I swear baseball and it's un written rules are dumb.
Good thing you stay on the computer then.
@@ldial89 Having
played and at my age yes staying behind a computer makes sense, secondly I can tell you never played baseball or was never hit with one, so I expect a low level response like yours.
@@ldial89 you got him good!
Snowflake….
@Dees Nuts You are the actual snowflake
I never understood retaliation in sports. You hit someone in hockey because they scored or throw at a batter's head because they hit a home run? That's not on your opponent...that's on you failing. Instead of retaliating, be better. If you can't, just accept that you're going to lose.
I was a catcher for many years in NYC and I agree wholeheartedly with the Umps !!
You throw a purpose pitch and get caught ,you gone !!
That's the Game son , Bend the rules but don't break em !!
I expect nothing less from an experienced Mountain Dew drinker such as himself💀
Looking forward to Jomboy's coverage on this one...
Why does everyone go after #22?
Boa dont make me come on that plate na😂😂😂😂throwing a 80+ mi pitch at sSOMEONES HEAD cause they looked at you
He has the 2 liter of Hillside Sweat, nice.
Good call umps. Maintain integrity and safety of the game. See ya!
dude out here chugging a 2 litre like nothing is happening
Why does the catcher get tossed too?
Watch his glove, he drops it right before the delivery. Could be he knew they were gonna try and beanball him.
the catcher knows the pitch call before the pitcher does. they arent just tossing a ball back and fourth. its premeditated. between the two.
@@shmoga Not always the case.
Love how vocal one fan can be
This is why I love baseball. Never a dull moment.
That’s just sending a message and nothing more. Just like the kid who hit the homer sent a message to the dugout. If the pitcher wanted to hit him, he would have done so. Play ball.
There are many dull moments unfortunately
It’s like 98.9% dull moments actually
Never a dull moment and baseball shouldn't be in the same sentence
@@Mike-ud1fz Yeah actually you're right! LOL!!
Coach just casually gooning on a 2L of MTN DEW 😂
Good job by the umpires. This nonsense where teams pitch at batters has to stop, especially if the pitcher throws at the head area. Maybe if managers get tossed as well, it will stop.
The manager AND the catcher got thrown out along with the pitcher lol
@@grandhusslemonster which was extremely stupid. Catcher didn’t even do anything wrong
@@ryder3237 Catcher helped. He caught it wide somehow
@@Thatpastaiscold I can’t tell if your serious or not
It’s almost like this crap would stop if ejections like this happened more often. It’s pathetic when teams get someone back by beaming them instead of trying to strike em out. It’s pretty much saying ‘he’s too good for us.’
This is what happens when the Savannah Bananas don't get time to practice their dance numbers
Lmao
Love to know how they came up with the team name savannah Bananas
The ump prevented this game from becoming a disaster. There would've been another pitch, then more retaliation, then a brawl. Props to him.
Eject all these thugs for this classless behavior. May need to look into pressing charges.
😂 for what 😂. Maybe they will have a “safe bubble” for them in the future….
This one looked more accidental if anything.
You gotta be kidding right?
Not hurting anyone with that 80 Pooh 😂
O no they chirping over there lmao 😂
Baseball players have the softest egos of any athletes..so the batter looked in your direction after a Homer and Austin Peays response is "Lets beam him in the head" baseball players are mentally softest players in sports. This is flat out embarrassing.
Good call. Look at catcher's stance on the homer, then his stance on the "wild", then his stance as he's setting up for the 2nd pitch. Catcher was anticipating the "wild" pitch.
NBA softness is getting into baseball
NBA has been the softest by a landslide for the better part of almost 15 years.

Gotta drink Mountain Dew 😂😂
The mountain dew is killing me😭
Clicked just to see him handle that 2 ltr of DEW, now that’s a coach!.
I’m just here to verify that is in fact a 2 liter of Mountain Dew
I think it’s great the coach is drinking a 2 liter of something out of nowhere.
"Im all jacked up on mountain dew"
Unit patch? Flag position? Rank insignia PC? Button Fly?? DS/ID-Badge??
How can it happen right after the pitch if the batter is running the bases?
Never seen so many pipsqueaks playing Baseball in my life.
I used to carry a 2-liter of Mountain Dew around all the time as well, not diet. I was like 120lbs back then, though.
Haha leaving the stadium is crazy 😭😭
You don’t get to head hunt. Go to the ribs. Sorry bro eject them all.
Nothing more american than drinking the 2L mountain dew from the heel. sip it up!
the ump is trying so hard not to crack a smile while looking at the 2 liter
Can you imagine any other sport where a coach or player is chugging a two liter of Mountain Dew.
esports baby!
Ahh the famous movie quote. "look for low and away, but watch out for in your ear".
The POWER of "Dew"
I don’t know what’s more embarrassing. Throwing a baseball at someone because they smashed your pitch, or having to throw people out of a game for throwing a ball at someone.
it certainly is embarrassing to occidentals and their culture that they can't control their emotion like normal people can
That 2 liter diet mt dew tells me all I need to know
Me a former catcher
👁️👄👁️ what my man do
Looking at it when the ball is halfway in flight the catcher was actually not ready for that pitch. Pitcher aimed right at the dude's head though, so he was in the wrong. Coach is probably pissed because he knows his catcher, an could clearly see how he had to react. Cause it looks like the ball could of gotten the ump too, but that may just be the angle. Ump needed a video review.
I clicked for the mountain dew chug
