I bought them for myself to line up my pixie cut and liked them so much I bought them for my brother too. My brother has a full beard and moustache he said they are good and get the job done.

The slim line is great when working is tight areas. You also need to zero gap them to get the best benefits. Great when using on kids.

How do you adjust the blades?
For beard line ups on sensitive skin(2x weekly), what process/trimmers would you recommend? Andis slimline or T-outliner?
Since beard hair is usually more coarse, I would go with the t outliners because they are more powerful. If your skin is sensitive, probably wouldn't zero gap them, just leave them stock.

Have you used the guards that came with the slimline pro li? I haven´t bought it yet because i want something i can do beard fades on the sides and trim just a little bit on the whole beard; i´m just not sure how big the guards are or should i say, if it comes with a guard small enough for short fades on the sides.
Ive honestly never used the guards that came with the slimlines. I probabaly wouldnt go with the slimlines for beard fading though.

I've never shaved my head completely bald, but my recommendation would be to get a cheap pair of clippers and cut it as low as possible....then get a shaver like andis profoil or wahl 5 star shaver and go over it again for a closer cut.

a light beard yes..probably not best for a thick full beard.
When you Zero Gap the Slimline joints, do they eat the Combs up like the Masters? And not a barber, but my T-Outliners look pretty close to Zero out the box right..but when I try to use em on my lil man's or even on me to do line up they don't cut that hair at all. Thoughts?
I've only used the guards that come with the slimline pros a few times and I didnt have any issues.
You definitely have to zero gap any pair of trimmers for the best possible cut. I would recommend the slimline pros for children's hair since their skin is more sensitive than a grown man. The slimline pros cut well, but they aren't as powerful as the T-outliner.

Been using them like that for 2yrs, straight out the box yo. Guess the answer is ZERO GAPPIN em,.. I'ma try the Outliners first since I ain't have no Combs for em..

Phabeon I know I'm late but have you played with the tension screw under front cover? T outliners sometimes hit out the box and sometimes it's trial and error with that tensioner screw.

Are the andis slimline pro Li good for shaving off my mustache and goatee? I can’t have facial hair anymore cuz of my job & wanna know if these are good for completely shaving off mustache & goatee, even when it’s barely any hair there since I shave multiple times a week.
My mustache & goatee isn’t thick since I shave every 2-3 days but wanna get some legit clippers to shave, rather then the cheap in-store clippers I’ve been using that aren’t good to use.

I would go with the T-outliners. They're more powerful than the slimline pros, which would be good for beards which can be coarse.
What are your thoughts comparing the shorter blade outliner and pro li? Or what about not zero gaping any of the two? Which would you choose? I’m a BEGINNER so I would want to know which one straight out the box would give the sharpest line. I don’t mind the heat. I mainly will use for designs and edges for myself and my son, the ears etc. They are about the same cost on Amazon.
