Coming up on 320k miles on my 2002. Interior is great, no tears or squeaks. Everything works. Pretty trouble-free the 4 years i've had it.
Mines had transmission problems and engine :/ i still paid even tho it’s at 280,000 miles
I got an 02 that just hit 385k yesterday stock everything just replaced a radiator recently
Got a 2004, 4WD. Removed all of the rear seats. Used it countless times for camping, moving house, utility, etc. Great vehicle. Had mine for 4 years. Very reliable. Only has 184,000 miles, best thing, paid only $4,000. There are still good ones out there for the same I paid.
Those things are so realiable
Love my 2005 Sequoia. 268k and still purrs like new.
Any problems with it???
@@mercedesbenzs600bash Other than a clock spring that went bad and the CD player quit working, nothing at all. It’s at 291k now.
@@bigmattball Wowwww thats really impressive...
@bigmattball How often do you change the timing belt Just bought a 2007 sequoia with 189k miles and no carfax record of timing belt being charged Do you think I need to go ahead and replace the belt
@@kellykelly3283 change it in case. It has to be changed every 80k
gotta love the Sequoia ...got like 165k miles on it...she still running strong
Showemright YTchannel: Gas Mileages is not great on this car but their very reliable suvs I’d give them credit.
@@_thebusphotograher_cali No BIG SUV is good on gas,but the SEQUOIA gets you through almost any BAD weather related situation...
@@mercedesbenzs600bash and that’s what counts
@@zeeone4492 EXACTLY...
I have a 2006 Sequoia SR5

going... I love this vehicle...
Any problems with it???
7:51 there’s literally 7 Toyota’s in the background within 4 seconds : Corolla, Lexus SUV, another Corolla, 4 Runner, Tundra, Sequoia
at 99,999 miles, my odo rolled over and its at 44k again 24 years later, all original except a rebuild kit for this and that and also a whole new suspension i installed myself with pro mechanic supervision with his lift and advice. i do deliveries, i have removed all but my seat and some of the door panels, but theyre just fine and in storage, i just love hearing the V8, and it dropped about 500 lbs from the Tree.
This is a real nice review on the Toyota Sequoia. Currently I'm in the market to purchase one as a step up from my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Limited 4x4. Hands down Japanese vehicles are very reliable and durable. Thank you for the information on the Toyota Sequoia.
240k amazing miles on my 04! It's my life vehicle period.
@@tonyt0311 Any problems with it???
@@mercedesbenzs600bash Zero, still running like a sewing machine.
@@tonyt0311 NICE...
It's unfortunate that you didn't take one in prestine condition off the lot. The suspension might not be up to park and tune up might be all done
looks like it needs a skid control module too ...common problem on 01 -02 sequoia's..im .just said it for because vsc and track control lights are on!!!!!!
the auto climate control actually came with all trims.mine is a sr5 but still came with jbl system, which is kinda a pain in the but to replace.
That small center console has a very big one under it there's two more power outlets on the right hand side we have the 04 version of this and it has stereo controls on the steering wheel as well as a chromed-out Toyota emblem in the Center four wheel drive with transfer case lock and it has tons of power
highluxrcguy tons of power compared to what? A Yugo?
Our smokes the tires probably would pop them if we decided to on take off so I don't know what you're talking about
highluxrcguy numbers don't lie though.... Towing with that low amount of HP/TQ over hills or muddy back roads really stinks. I've been there and although nothing beats a good diesel, having 400 ft*lbs torque vs 300 makes all the difference.
I never said anything about towing anything power to weight ratio on that thing is perfectly fine ours does awesome
What I'm trying to figure out is how I went from correcting this guy that's advertising a vehicle to being told by you that it's gutless and all this other stuff point to my story is buy what the hell you want I commented on here because the guy talking about this vehicle has no clue what the hell he's talking about
Very good information, How many times did you replace the timing belt?
Needs a good detailing but very informative.
You thinking about buying one???
Sounds like it is low on oil in the video.
I loved my truck did amazing on highway driving and on gas but in the city gas was horrible I did have a lot of problems with the truck and spent a lot repairing everything.
Problems with a SEQUOIA,like what exactly???
Great review!
We own the same SUV I love that Toyota
Any problems over the years???
Good
How can you disable traction control?
You would have more power when you fix the o2 sensors noticed your (trac off, vsc trac) lights are on and your check engine light it probably burnt out these all first gemerations had a problem with.
Great information,thanks...
What about the Dodge Durango on those year models Durango with a full-size SUV
Raul Bueno they were garbage. my family bought a brand new 04 sxt model back in the day and it was plagued with problems right off the bat.
I'm talking about the first generation
CAMERON YOU FORGOT TO BEEP THE HORN!
Can you do the Nissan Frontier?
Can u please do a review on the 2015 Nissan rogue cuz my mom and dad are looking for a compact SUV. Thanks.
you got it
Awesome!
Who were the previous owners?? The Dukes of Hazard??
Can u do a startup and review of the 2015 dodge ram 1500
Do these vehicles have any challenges with rust ? Like any certain areas to look out for ?
some rust under the trunk is common but other then that not so bad
Brayden ching I have herd of some sequoias having to get new frames and some tundra's.It worries me a bit.
My parents own two sequoias and they have rust but not to the point where they would need to replace the frame. Plus we live in Hawaii so its a little worse then the Mainland. I think you have nothing to worry about. they are great SUVs
Brayden ching We have heavy road salt here in MI but not sure how that would compare to your humidity.
We have a lot of salt here too. Especially driving down the roads near beaches the spray of it or actual salt water will hit the car. I think as long as you spray your car down with freshwater frequently it should be fine.
Is the a righthand for this?
No. It's a North America only vehicle.
wheres the road test?
When can you review the 2011 Lincoln Town Car?
Best handing is not the ford or chevy with the whoble steering
Can you please do a review on a Toyota Sienna?
I have a 2005
How many miles and any problems with it???
Very bad gas milage being a 4 speed gear box
Seems that your channel is missing a Ford Ranger :P May I request for you to make a video of one? don't really care what year/generation.
Sure! Ill try to find one
Sweet!
I have a 01 Sequoia 4x4 and i never see any 4x4's on the road here in california, i got lucky.
How many miles and any major problems???
@@mercedesbenzs600bash 201,600 Nothing major the VSC Trac light stays on sometimes. it usually goes back off. I just had the timing belt, Drive belt, Radiator, Hoses, Thermostat replaced, new fluids, needs a brake flush and the roaters turned but she runs like new. Its a Limited with power everything.
@@joshhawn3988 Nice,I'll be looking at an 03 with 175,000 miles on Saturday,I just want a RELIABLE and DURABLE SUV and the SEQUOIA seems to really be a GREAT vehicle...
@@mercedesbenzs600bash yeah their reliable as long as you keep
Up with the maintenance make sure the timing belt is good. I love mine, I use it as my off road vehicle.
@@joshhawn3988 How do you really know if the timing belt is bad???
Very beautiful nice immaculate mint condition no rust no burn holes 1999 Dodge Durango SLT?
nice sequoia
Could You Do A 2005 Toyota Echo Base Red Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease Cameron?
Thanks for this review, helped me decide against getting this vehicle over a used Escalade. I was looking into getting something other than a Yukon or Escalade but it seems like except for total interior cargo volume, Toyota falls short. Very basic for their top of the line. Fuel mileage is worse than similar year escalades (2002-2006), and the caddy comes with way more luxury items, can tow more, looks a whole lot better for less money than these used....the sequoia is bigger on the inside for volume, with a slight increase in leg and head room (fractions of an inch) with the same front head and leg room, GMT800's have more hip and shoulder room though...if you are ever going to tow anything, GMT800 chassis is best, more vehicle weight, more towing capacity, much better hauling power for hills, 240HP/315TQ vs 345HP/380TQ and the fuel mileage is better.
Emissions, maintenance costs, insurance costs, and reliability are higher rated in EVERYthing Toyota. America already knows this which is why Toyota passed GM-TARP as the #1 automaker on the planet.
nah its crap
Dh66 American cars are the worst compared to anything. Unless your talkings sports cars here.
Can u review the 2015 lincoln navigator
POSEIDIANE GUERRERO
mines in better condition than this one. that interior is destroyed.
car looks like it was flooded
rip v8😢
Sad about American vehicles the fit & finish is awful - as are the transmissions 😰
sounds like you're trying to hard to do a review
too*
rite, like the review but would switch the person doing it no questions lol
needs bigger rims for sure. how Toyota gonna cheap out on the rims.
In '01 16" wheels were pretty much the standard for trucks and SUV's. The nice thing about them is that the tires for 16" wheels are CHEAP compared to 18'sor 20's. Plus I think smaller wheels with an aggressive tire has a more offroad look, which suits a large SUV. Huge wheels with low profile tires on a SUV is kind of pointless in my opinion.
