My face is hurting
creating this amount of 2nd hand embarassment is just deadly
She does have a true talent of creating the most intense second hand embarrassment in probably the most people at one time
I feel embarrassed just seeing this tragedy.
This level of secondhand embarrassment is pushing the limits into thirdhand embarrassment... a level never reached before
Y’all are crazy. She’s inspirational. I have never once watched the Olympics and thought to myself “Hey I can do that.” Until her. I’m basically an Olympian
Yes, I can do that too, and score 0 points as she did.
LOL. She's such a shame
Yes. Before Raygun I thought my only shot at the Olympics was the luge

Imagine being an Olympic break dancer, finally having your sport taken seriously and then she shows up turning it into a joke
Wow you mean this is not a joke?
Most of the best break dancers are not even in the olympics
@@felicianoabe Unfortunately it was not😭
Exactly like this was the first time breakdancing was in the Olympics and probably the last too
They have dropped it from LA ,thanks raygun, what a arsehole
This really happened... it wasn't a joke or a commercial. She's an Olympic athlete... still trying to wrap my head around that.
That's exactly what I said 😂
The show "Punk'd comes to mind lmao
Olympics are not what they used to be
What on god's green earth is she actually doing?? Clearly has NO IDEA what breakdancing is! Who qualified her for this?? Was she the only person in all of AUS who breakdances so they decided, "well, I guess you're it"? How embarrassing.
Im just convinced that she was a plant. She has to be there to sabotage the chances of breakdancing ever being a category in the next Olympics.
@@sandih8729 From what I heard she assembled the body to select the representative and her husband was one of the judges. Or sumthin like dat

I love all the reactions by the athletes and judges on the floor, lmao they don’t know what to think
The confidence in her face coming out and the pointing at her subway uniform.
And the audacity of her to fake yawn at her competition Ahahaha
to be fair, her "subway uniform" is actually the official australian olympic jogging suit, and i'm pretty sure she was pointing at her aussie badge.
i do believe that bravado is part of breakdancing......
and it's really the only part she got right, so at least give her props for that.
Oh I thought that was her phd badge or that she identifies as the breakdancing champion of the universe!!

They left out the BEST ONE where she grabs both of her feet and starts looking around at the crowd as if she is absolutely KILLING IT! 😂 😂

What if she really is the best that Australia has?
😂😂😂😂
The way she kept pointing to her Australian crest omg. Like she was doing something great for her country. Zero self awarness.
Zero! It’s annoys me so much

What if she has full self awareness and is pranking the world?
“Zero self awareness” I kno wat u mean 💀
When all the contestants are laughing and so are the judges, you know it's going well. 😂
The craziest part is she did this at the summer Olympics so LITERALLY in front of the WHOLE WORLD
This is what happens when you don't have good friends to tell you that you can't dance and look like a complete muppet. Her smug facial expression tells me everything i need to know about her. Unlikable, stuck up, abrasive, brash. Not a nice person.

I know - I mean is she really the BEST female break dancer in Australia? REALLY? I watched the female final (a Japanese girl v a Lithuanian) and they were seriously impressive. "Raygun" by comparison was total cr@p. Hilarious cr@p, but still cr@p.
Maybe this was the message she was trying to convey? Anyone could be up here, like me today. Now we all believe it is actually possible
This is the most beautiful example of how possessing a PhD in something does not mean that you know anything about that thing.

Im pretty sure I heard her say in an interview that she did breakdancing for a thesis for college or something. I don't think youre too far from the truth.

Ela merece a medalha de ouro.
This looks like an SNL skit. But this woman ACTUALLY got a PHD in this. She wrote her thesis on breakdancing.
The backstory makes this abysmal performance even more hilarious!
“Rachael Gunn is an interdisciplinary and practice-based researcher interested in the cultural politics of breaking. She holds a PhD in Cultural Studies (2017) and a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Music (2009) from Macquarie University. Her work draws on cultural theory, dance studies, popular music studies, media, and ethnography.
Rachael is a practising breaker and goes by the name of 'Raygun'. She was the AusBreaking top ranked bgirl in 2020 and 2021, and represented Australia at the World Breaking Championships in Paris in 2021, in Seoul in 2022, and in Leuven (Belgium) in 2023. She won the Oceania Breaking Championships in 2023.
Rachael is a member of the Macquarie University Performance and Expertise Research Centre.”
@chancecoleman7118 Thank you very much for that. In case anyone is interested in her "skills". This is a perfect breakdown of her experience.
The fact you can get a PhD in breakdancing could explain an awful lot of why the world is so fucked up right now!
Look up Daniel Radcliffe's SNL skit called "You can do anything" and you'll find your answer as to why Raygun has zero self awareness, thinks she "can do anything" with unearned confidence 😂
Goes to show a degree is really nothing more than a piece of paper you were dumb enough to pay for. I make six digits and never touched college. Over-rated and unnecessary. No student loans is nice too!
