This product is a marvel for a composer to create rapid sketches of new songs. It's easy to work on each part separately and modify it, or eventually switch the order of parts, etc. This allows relatively complex layouts to be refined very quicly. It's a great tool as a backing track for vocals, solos, embellishments. For the moment I don't see it like a gig tool, but when I will master it, it could do the job, the effect loop may help for that purpose.

I've been using mine as a gigging tool for several years now- I can do a three-hour gig on my own. I run my guitar through an amp sim and send it into one PA channel and the drum/bass feed into the other PA channel. For me, the best sounds are on the jazz and Latin genres. The bass, especially, sounds good on the jazz setting.

Hi Inda, I'm a big user of the Digitech Trio and I don't own the footswitch, in fact, I don't even use the Trio as a foot pedal, I prefer to have it up high on my desk and I use my hands 100%. Of course, when you're teaching the Trio, it means you have to be very quick with your hands to turn it off exactly on the first beat. If you're a bit out, it gets confused, and more often than not, it thinks you're trying to play a 3/4 time song! I like to up high so I can see the settings clearly, and more often than not, I'm flicking between the sub-genres looking for the best accompaniment. Also, I like having the mixing knobs close at hand.

Does the band learning button create a drum loop similar to sdrum?

    Hi
I thought it wise that I clarify in a broader sense my thanks.
Your channel is superb. You must be so patient to go through each pedal and learn the features , advantages and benefits.
I have a terrible, terrible time attempting to absorb information.
What’s ridiculous is I am actually not backwards at coming forwards, if you Google Lanza Martineta you will see under Google images that I was a photographer, graphic artist for many years. So the point I am making is I may take a while to learn, but once I have then a degree of competence is achieved. That’s where channels like yours are just so handy.
May I ask you how much you would charge to do a face time call. I would be more than happy to contribute? I want to be talked through the Digiteck pedal! Why? Because you see I am making an album, and I believe wholeheartedly this could provide much needed backing for me to work out the songs.
    Many thanks
    Lanza.
P.S if I sent u a track could you suggest appropriate settings. I saw you did it for someone who suggested Sade.
Sorry if this is an inconvenience, but for the record today after looking at your guide.,,I came as close as I ever had to grasping thirty per cent of it, so Thankyou for that.

Your Trio and SDRUM demos are streets ahead. Is it possible to use the both of them together? ie if I am gigging sometimes being able to lay down a rhythm with the SDRUM is more spontaneous. Hello. I've had my trio plus for some while but I'm still learning.
What I can't find anywhere is how to create intros and outros. They're rarely if ever long enough for them to be taught to the trio+ and thus can't be made into parts using the 'tempo fix' technique. I assume I could record intro and outro parts without teaching the Trio+ but this seems to negate the normal technique. What am I missing?
Incidentally my objective is to use the sequencer and parts to provide a sort of simple backing track to play solos over at local open mic events in which I'll also sing - not into the Trio+, but another PA mic.
Enjoy your channel very much even though I'm not a huge user of pedals.

It seems to be on just one of the parts I created- the other parts seem to be functioning normally. Is it because I can only clear the last recorded part? If so, does that mean the entire song I created has to be scrapped because of one part I can't clear? I have tried a factory reset several times but as soon as the unit comes back on, the BAND LED is still flashing red slowly. If I press it, it goes to flashing red quickly and I can't teach it a new part by playing. If I press the BAND footswitch again, it goes back to flashing red slowly. If I hold the BAND footswitch down for 2 seconds it just goes back to flashing red quickly again.

I have this pedal, and i dont use it much.. Its pretty much a gimmick, but if you wanna practice to a metronome that sound a little like drums and a mechanical bass player that can go crazy in least expected moments, and your own loops then this might do the job to some degeree. It wont create a rockstar band for you, but rather construct some usable patterns you can practice to.. Sure, you can go wild and play live session with it if you dig hard in to it, but you will be much better off with a real band or at least backup track. This thing can construct anything so you never know what it will come up with, therefore it is not 100% suited for live performances.
