      Hey @Peter Lane , my suggestion is to try to be more patient with yourself when looking for answers. People who want you to fix everything that has been going wrong in their health for the past 20 years in a 45 second sound bite don't usually end up creating much improvement. Correcting the actual underlying cause of most health issues takes work and it takes understanding what is going on. My early videos were like 30 minutes so when you can break things down into smaller pieces it seems to make it easier to learn. Just be a little more willing to do the work and you'll find your answers. It took me 8 years to find my answers and I can tell you now, you don't want to take that long so just be willing to do a little more work and you'll get there.

I'd love to see some case study style videos using "real life" examples. I think that could help people to see how making the changes has actual outcomes. Even if the changes go the wrong way. I've started my health journey mainly due extreme anxiety attacks and few seizures that I had. It was easily fixed by going keto and switching to burning ketones to cut on lactic acid production

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Рік тому +5

      Hi @El nino kodak. Thanks for the note. Yeah, removing the spikes and crashes in blood sugar with keto will usually correct the seizures. And lowering lactic acid can fix one possible cause for anxiety too, but keep in mind that an anabolic imbalance can also cause a person to make too much lactic acid since they are creating energy through fermentation when they are overly anabolic. And byproduct of creating energy that way is lactic acid. So be sure to look at your chemistry using the self-tests that we show how to do in our free digestion course and make sure you're not leaning too anabolic.
      And if you haven't seen this, check out our video on anxiety so you can make sure you're not dealing with other imbalances that can allow anxiety to show up too: ua-cam.com/video/UokNi-R9iLk/v-deo.html

      @@KickItNaturally I am 100% leaning towards anabolic. I cant have anything that produces d-lactate - almost all lactobacteria strains inprobiotics/no fermented foods like ACV/ water kefir/kombucha/sauerkraut. Basically im super histamine sensitive. I was on corticosteroids for asthma and allergies for 20 years and those antiinflammatory meds were hiding all of my health problems

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Рік тому +2

      @El nin kodak, the great part about that is that at least it makes your issues make sense. Now, you can just work to correct that imbalance and I bet you'll be able to create some major improvements. Pretty cool.

    • @carnigoth
      @carnigoth Рік тому

      Check out vitamin B6 deeper. Mainly needed to convert to GABA. Lack of GABA amplifies anxiety and leads to seizures because the brain gets over excited without it. B6 can get toxic in too high levels, so research it well. And watch out for other complex b vitamins

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Рік тому +1

      B^ can help SOME people with their anxiety because B6 can help to correct an overly anabolic imbalance. But if that is not the cause of their anxiety, it can also make things worse. It's really about looking at your body chemistry so you can work with your body instead of against it.

    I have hypersomnia and I can sleep from 12 to 16 hours a day. I also tend to be a night owl, so my doctor recommended 300 mcg of melatonin to be taken six hours before bedtime to correct my circadian rhythm. I took it at 7 PM and was asleep by 9 PM. I slept till 3 PM the next day, (18 hrs sleep) and only because someone woke me up. I actually could’ve slept much longer. I was groggy and tired for two more days! It seems the melatonin hit me hard despite being a small dosage. So I basically slept for 18 hours, so although the melatonin got me to sleep it made me sleep for a longer time with a groggy, feeling upon waking and lasting for two days. I have always heard that when you are sleeping you are in a fasted state after a few hours, which is a catabolic state. Then in the morning you eat your protein which puts you in a anabolic state. Then you workout and eat more protein post workout which keeps you in an anabolic state most of the day. Now I am very confused.

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Рік тому +2

      Hi Fon D, this is just a misconception because in an extended fasted state the body can start to break itself down to turn that into fuel, so some people view any fasted state as a catabolic state, but that is not the case. This is more about the body's natural circadian rhythm and less about what body builders view as trying to get into an anabolic state to build muscle. There is a lot of confusion in that world .
      And keep in mind that it is normal for a person to show some markers for both states. The goal is to be balanced and show markers on both sides so you many not have an imbalance in this area. But if you download my book for free here: kickitnaturally.com/free

    Plus... Desert Dwellers Aren't Most Active in the Sun because it's 120° out there... so they do better in the shade of tents.
    Circadian Rhythms are as Individual as the Person...I am awake for 20 hours on some days if I'm on a Creative Roll...
    Einstein Slept about 3-4 hours a day whenever he felt the need.
    Some people have rigid routines...
    I have Fundamental Foundations...
    I Don't Have to Repeat the Same Day Over & Over ad Nauseam...
    Every Day is New...& I Don't Need Sunlight To Energize me...I get my Sunlight When it's Available.
    The so called "TRUTH" regarding Circadian Rhythms is as big a farce as the "TRUTH" that There's "ONE" that works for everyone...e.g. Mediterranean, Vegan, Keto, Vegetarian....
    No One Man Has the Whole Truth...
    Because No One Man Can Handle the Whole Truth...
    Truth Comes in Stages & Phases...
    As We Can Deal With it's Apparent Inconsistencies & Contradictions.
    To Thine Own Self Be True...
    And Your Truth is Real Until
    More Truth is Revealed.

    Does sleeping at night (being anabolic) contribute to a lower pulse naturally? Or do the pulse rates reflected in this chart reflect a daytime reference to see which side we lean toward? Just curious because my pulse tends to be lower when I'm asleep at night (not necessarily catabolic?).

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  8 місяців тому +1

      This can be a complicated topic because I think the pulse does slow down with nighttime activities in the body for most people, but a higher pulse rate during the day can be one possible sign of anabolic imbalance.

    There are also genetics that play a role. Due to genetics, I have shallow brain waves and sleep lightly. . What can be done about that? I already do all the light and sleep hygiene habbits.

      You don't want to decide if you have an imbalance by your symptoms: Your best bet could be to go through our totally free digestion course because that will walk you through running simple self-tests you can run at home to get an idea of what imbalances can be creating trouble, and what steps would help you correct them. How does insulin resistance fit in catabolic? Wouldn't that be an anabolic state?

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Рік тому

      It's a tricky topic because insulin is pro-anabolic, but an overly catabolic state seems to make insulin less effective for some folks so we seem to see more insulin resistance in an overly catabolic state. I explain this more in this video: ua-cam.com/video/7sRC1RJpkDA/v-deo.html

    If the circadian rhythm of the body is changed does it effect bile flow and malabsorption?

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Рік тому

      Not directly, but a catabolic imbalance does have the ability to thicken up bile and cause problems that way. You can learn how to correct a catabolic imbalance here: ua-cam.com/video/qAE4qtx14fY/v-deo.html
      and you can learn how to improve bile flow here: ua-cam.com/video/mBdV6ZT9woQ/v-deo.html
      But both sides of digestion need to be working correctly to correct malabsorption problems so check out our video on 10 signs of low stomach acid to see if that is a problem too: ua-cam.com/video/W-sDb7lzFI4/v-deo.html

      Hi @Ovintha Gunathilaka , excessive peeing is a symptom and we don't like to see people treat off of symptoms. If you're peeing a lot, with volume, this video can help you figure out if you're leaning too far on that anabolic side. If so, this video could help you understand how to correct that: ua-cam.com/video/glvRt9z2fSE/v-deo.html
