      Fish (especially salmon), Flax Seed Oil (Do not heat flax seed oil and in a pearl-type gelcap is best), Ground Flax Seed, Fried or omelet style eggs in the morning (Not Egg-Beaters), Lemon Juice, Citrus Fruit, Sardines, Tuna Fish 😊

      I'm mainly looking for a solution to my nocturia. It keeps me up at night but I don't have constipation. I worry more about diarrhoea, which gripped me not too long ago, and in the aftermath I think that's when I developed this nocturia. This is the first and only page to bring up the catabolic/anabolic aspects and that was huge.

    Thank you for great videos! I’m confused however. My understanding of an anabolic state would indicate water retention. Can you help me understand why one would urinate more? What are the mechanisms that push one towards these “anabolic” changes?
    In an anabolic state, the body is focused on building up tissues and synthesizing molecules, such as muscle protein and glycogen. This state is typically associated with positive nitrogen balance and retention of various substances, including water, within cells and tissues.
    However, the body's handling of water during anabolic processes can vary. For example:
    1. **Glycogen Storage**: Glycogen synthesis in muscles and liver involves the storage of water. For every gram of glycogen stored, approximately 3 grams of water are retained. This process can decrease the amount of free water available for excretion, potentially leading to less frequent urination.
    2. **Hormonal Influence**: Anabolic states are often influenced by hormones like insulin, growth hormone, and anabolic steroids, which can affect kidney function and water retention. For instance, insulin promotes sodium retention, which can lead to water retention.
    3. **Hydration and Muscle Growth**: Adequate hydration is essential for muscle growth, and the body may retain more water in the muscles during an anabolic state to support this process.
    Overall, an anabolic state tends to promote water retention in tissues rather than increasing water excretion through the kidneys. Therefore, it is not typically associated with increased urination. Instead, there might be a decrease in the frequency of urination due to the retention of water within the body's cells and tissues.
    Thank you in advance 🙏🏼

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  7 місяців тому +1

      The view of water retention can be more about where the body is sending the water. I go into a lot more depth about this state in my book and you can download it for free here: kickitnaturally.com/free
      The book, "The Doctor Who Cured Cancer" is another excellent resource to fully understand these states and the physiological markers that can be viewed to get an idea where a person is.

    speaking of cooking with oils… i keep hearing that seed oils are horrible for us, and often used in deep fried or pan fried foods, sooo, i switched to peanut oil, as it allows a higher heat point and i dont think its a seed oil like vegie oils? i can try and google it, but since you bring up not to fry with olive oil, as i have seen many do on youtube, i thought i would ask.

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  2 роки тому +18

      HI Gail. Peanut oil can be problematic to cook with it. All those oils turn toxic at higher heats, even when they have a higher smoking point. I only cook with saturated fats like coconut oil, butter, bacon grease, duck fat, tallow, and stuff like that.

    Hello, sir!
    I have problems eating most of the foods… I eat pretty clean, like only organic/ grass fed stuff, but it seems that it doesn’t work and there are only a few foods that doesn’t make me feel like crap. I started supplementing with Betain HCL and Beet Flow for 2-3 weeks, I can see some problems getting better, but nothing incredible. In those 2-3 weeks of taking the supplements I tried eating carnivore diet, it felt like crap, then tried carnivore+fruit, felt even worse and also my skin never was drier on my legs and arms, it’s peeling of so easily if i scratch it with my fingers, also from this video I’m pretty sure im on that anabolic side more than the catabolic one. Sorry for complaining a lot in this comment, but can you tell me how much time should I expect to take the supplements (Betaine HCL & Beet Flow) until I can see pretty good improvement in those 2 areas and also what should I eat if everything makes me feel like shit, also have liver problems. I literally feel like sh*t when I’m thinking that I’m only 21 and having all of these problems, but only now I realise that I have this problems since I know myself…
