I forgot too tell you, the other half of the story. My mother was all Greek! So we also had to know all the dances, food, religion everything Greek! They raised us with a wonderfulness of both heritages! Scot/ Irish & Greek! Love for all grandparents, families, and a beautifu love for it all!

My sister's & I belonged to the Irish-American dancers in Chicagoland! We competed and performed! We all loved it! I lost my husband of 50yrs, before he passed he wanted too see me dance at 69,yrs old! Well to my relief I was able too perform for him again! I wasn't as fast nor as coordinated as when I was a newlywed! Although for an old girl to remember the steps & movement's I was very proud of myself & the joy in his eye's brings tears to mine now!!! I loved it!!!

Irlanda. Irlandia? Irlandés. Ireland. Es interesante que la gente de Irlandés no son "Anglos". Es un tribo completemente diferente- El tribo Celtico, asi que as un insulto decir "Anglo" cuando una persona es Irlandés, porque es una cultura separada.
También, la gente de Inglaterra esclavada le gente Irlandés hace 800 años!

some of them escaped king James expulsion by fleeing to Ireland and Scotland particularly from what I understand. So her ancestry was obviously brought up in Celtic traditions, a good way to hide their true culture ethnicity.
Don't talk bollox, her parents were Irish.
