- My second time in Las Vegas for DEF CON and Black Hat. Lots has changed since I have been here 6 years ago. This trip was quite emotional for me and I am so grateful for the experience. Hope to meet you all again.

I absolutely respect the decision to prioritize those things over UA-cam, I just hope the Algorithm Gods don't kick the channel too hard

I forgot how innocent the blue heart is outside of germany
@@conando025 hahahaha true
For any other non-Germans, the blue heart emoji was unfortunately co-opted by a German alt-right group "AfD" recently.
@@conando025 wait wdym????
@hanz1375 In Germany, the blue heart has become the branding of the far-right party AfD and is therefore often accompanied by nationalist, antisemitic or conspiratorial beliefs.
So sad that the CTF afterparty got cut short :/ Still happy I managed to meet you right as police was kicking us out though!
What happened with the Police?
@@zeus_sec Main reason was just too much people in a room
I was at your UNLV talk as a red shirt and I have to say you, were a pro up on stage. If you hadn't said you were nervous in this video, no one would have ever known. Keep up the great work!
Such an insane accomplishment, you and Thomas can be very proud. Also, very respectable how you kept everything concealed for four years. You should also not feel guilty for not uploading, prioritizing HexTree and your booth is undoubtedly what you should have done.
It was so cool to meet you and take a legendary photo of you and LiveOverflow...I mean AppSecExplained... 🤣
Damn I love watching people reach their goals... If you're reading this I hope you achieve everything you dream of.
09:45 simply found a real-life backdoor to a hacker conference xD
Pleasure meeting you in person! Thanks again for hopping on camera for that DEFCON reel! :D
Wow, seeing the success of my favorite UA-camr and mentor made my day! 🥰😍
After remembering DEF CON was on and finished, I kept checking your channel hoping you were there. Glad to see the video. Hopefully more to come
That is so weird. I literally checked earlier today to see whether I had been unsubscribed from your channel because I hadn't seen a video from you in a while. And then you post this great vlog on your experience in Las Vegas. Glad to see you and the team doing so well and I hope you get loads of memberships sold to the new hextree platform. Looking forward to more great content coming soon. Well done for getting through the busy schedule and not letting the anxiety get the better of you. You're amazing. Glad you were such a celeb out there.
The YT algorithm randomly pushed this video to me (probably because I live in vegas) but I'm not a hacker, in software design with my consulting company and YT channel. Watched the whole video and I've never had a booth at a conference and have been wanting to have one. Watched this entire video and loved the content!
The moment at 7:10 brought a smile to my face. Really cool to see what you've been up to
Every time you spoke about hextree, your work and hacking, your face lit up. The amount of emotion in your face is just soo inspiring. It was really amazing watching your experience with DEFCON this year.
this! A real glow up in the face :)
Wonderful to hear from you - what a wonderful time you must have had. Another tap by Google! Well done!
It was great meeting you too :) Hope to see you next year!
If you wanna know whats in the rest of the suite, there were about two more massive bedrooms past the DJ each equipped with massive toilets. During the party it was relatively more quiet there.
😭
I always wanted to learn Android Security & Pentesting but I never found any authentic source to learn. Thank you so much for bringing this up and Yes I have signed up.😇😇😇😀🙂🙂😊
Thank you for always sharing your insightful and informative videos !! Nice to see you and folks exploring new ventures and adventures !!
Maybe next time just ask everyone if you can publish your fotos with them … they probably don’t mind it or would actually love it !! I know I would ;))
Greetings from California … Wishing you all good health , success and happiness !! Much Love ✌️😎💕
Just have to say I am proud of you, keep up the good work!!
awesome happy to see hextree public .you always inspired many i am one of those and continue to do what do you overflow the scope kudos once again....
Thanks for such a great video, I've been SUPER surprised you were updating real-time during the event and I hope you had lots of fun in the wilderness later on ;D
Take a breather and h4x on
Great job at fighting your fear/nervousness of speaking in front of people, it'll make you grow as a person
Yes it did rain in Vegas, i was as shocked as you.
Thanks for the vlog! You are awesome!
Great Work! So happy to see you guys having a successful Kickoff at Defcon. I stopped by your table but didn't stick around long enough and I'm now regretting it so badly. It'll have to wait until next year. Best of luck!
It was so cool to meet you in person in DEFCON😄 Keep up the good work!
Was great meeting you. You are just as humble in person as in your videos.
Dude, i was there at BlackHat this year for the first time in 12 years, and i missed you :(
liking + comment to boost! glad to see you back, great vid
Unfortunately I couldn't go to Def Con, living on the opposite side of the world and all. I'm so glad that you were able to go there and have such a good time, though, especially since you're one of the main reasons I got into cybersecurity in the first place. It's amazing seeing all of your achievements!!
Congrats bro, Amazing!!
I'm going to work really hard this year so that I can travel for DefCon33⚡⚗️see you then!
Awesome stuff boss!
Congrats man! I'm very proud of you! Been following you for years
Just wow! Btw the hextree courses are super nice, I already started recommending hem for a few days to friends. Keep it up!
Great Vlog! Keep up the work!
I am really happy for you man! Your UA-cam Channel to me its simply the best for learning hacking related content. Wish you the best of luck and I will keep an eye for your new online platform as well!
Pietro
Glückwunsch zu diesem Erfolg. Vom kleinen UA-camr auf die große Bühne beim Who-is-Who der Defcon/BlackHat/Google. :)
Grüße aus dem ZAK ;)
Und: Stay humble!
Very cool, congrats on hextree and event and thank you for video update ❤
It was great seeing you as always! Congrats on such a cool project.
Schön zu sehen, dass sich eure harte Arbeit auszahlt 👍
That's awesome man, so happy for you!
Congrats on Hextree! 🥳
The name captions in your pic with Alex and Tib3rius made me do a double-take 😂
same hahaha
Not sure if you've been there, but Black Hat Europe in London is also amazing and super easy to reach by flying to Stansted. Been there last year and it was a blast, but definitely more polished than defcon ;)
Glad I wasn't the only one overwhelmed lol
This con is insanely huge!!!!
Oh, i hate that the only time i went to defcon was last year. the badge sucked, had fun tho... but im a fan of u LO and woulda been great to see you!
Wow, I could never talk in front of more like 5 people, no matter how skilled I am, so you definitely have balls of steel
Good to see your video after so long ❤❤ definitely gonna try hextree 👍
it was nice meeting you and your friends at the taco restaurant. Best of luck!
I spy the Hacker Warehouse booth in part of your video! Great to meet both of you. Stay in touch!
Enjoy your life, you deserve all the sucess you are getting.
Hextree is awesome! Congrats! 🎉
Congratulations on a successful stand. One of these years I will have to go but I think it might cramp my sons style lol He is a goon and goes each year. Your "long trip" from Germany is a taxi ride compared to those of us Down-Under ;-) Alles gut!
Can confirm LiveOverflow is exactly as nice in person as he seems on his channel
Love your content!! ❤ cool stuff at hextree🙌🏻
Damn, I missed you at the con. I’ll try to catch you next year and say hi.
You have GOT to let me know about the music at 0:42! It's amazing, who made it?
Ai
@@LiveOverflow OUCH. That's... a reality check, as a music producer. Dang. What prompt did you use?
@@Veilure yeah :( sorry.... for me as a creator it's amazing to not worry about copyright at all. and Ai has become good enough for that purpose...
it was suno and prompt was like: "upbeat electronic pop for travel vlog"
I came to the comments just for this! Haha Disappointed I can't listen to it, but thanks for the answer! Congrats on your accomplishments!
I saw what you did at 17:38 hahaha. Nice one! Alex looks so much of a copy of you.
yeah, finally come back man
This trip was very good. 💻
I was in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago when it was 47 Celsius and I am from Denmark where just getting 30 is unusual
Amazing news!
LMAO I kept watching you get pushed closer and closer into the corner at the party rip
Waiting for next video 😊
Thanks for Sharing Your Trip
its seems to be I am different, because I am stuck in a time, avarage game designer in US is 20 years old and I am almost 40 ^^ We grow slower in Eastern Europe ^^
he's back. yay!
great stuff. go algorithm go.
I'm glad I found your channel. I also tried getting hold of one of them glitch tools , I did email but didn't get a response. I guess it's only for DEF CON ?
Edit : never mind 😂
Faultier is such a brilliant name xD
Wish I could've been at DEFCON. Maybe in a couple of years!
18:01 The last time, I met Thomas in person was in 2019. I wouldn’t have recognized him with the beard. Doesn’t look like a 12 year old anymore
Super nice Vlog :). Will the Faultier be available in the EU? I don’t want to pay 23 euros for shipping.’D
yes, soon. in a few weeks I hope
Finally... a new video 👍
I want to be a pro hacker and watching people like you made me think that maybe one day i will❤
*sees and feels rain* Is it raining? I'd better check my phone
so cool :D
Eita salve Julião!
@@slowftw salveeeee
I was hoping to meet you at DEFCON I hope I get the opportunity next year. I am not an influencer but I wrote the Reverse Engineering Tutorial that 10k people have learned from so I would love to meet you as I have followed your work from the early 2000s.

@LiveOverflow i feel the name tags @17:39 are the wrong way round ^^
they also look super similar, confused me for a second 😄
So is there a chance for a similar workshop/assembly on CCC? :)
Old subs ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hey is there any way to see the status of the liveoverflow minecraft server? or is it down?
you rock!
hey man i lost you... i kep getting waiting i keep getting waiting video .every week i searched liver overflow any new updates...
Here we go again
Lmaoo literal backdoor into defcon
came to the comments to find why the police were shutting down the ctf party but couldn’t find anything
I assume it was because of loud DJs playing in a Hotel room lol.
@@LiveOverflow ah wouldn’t they simply ask to be quieter? also why would they bring a dog as shown in the video at 24:46. i’m not saying it isn’t the reason just confused when combined with some other information but then again i rarely go to parties especially not in other states let alone countries so im probably just missing something
maybe you know more than me. I have no clue, was just a guess
negative feedback?
I feel your logo is a bit too complicated. Typically you want your logo to be simple enough that if you ask somebody a bit familiar with it they would be able to draw it accurately to a decent degree.
This is because your logo appears very small in tab bars, mobile phone app icons, ect and you want people to be able to identify it easily as well as have a stronger positive familiarity with the shape which requires them to actually be able to remember it easier.
A second piece of negative feedback is that you don't support PWA. Typically isn't too hard to implement and greatly increases accessibility.
I love your videos and I also want to start my career in this field and I from India can please guide me ❤❤❤
❤❤
So, what vulnerabilities can an Android app have?
