Max....I've learned more and had more fun with my Studio One environment since I've been binge watching your stuff than I can describe. Your use of analogies to describe complex topics combined with your video & audio editing skills and attention to detail makes for some exceptional instructional content. I'll remember these days down the road when you are a phenom. Keep it up and tell us where we can send money....or at least put up an Amazon gift list. (BTW- I keep posting these comments in the hopes that others might stumble onto your material and benefit like I did)
Thank you, my friend 🙏 Your kind words and support mean a lot to me. I have not thought about a donation system yet, nor even heard of an Amazon gift list... I am currently trying to make time in my life to create more content. My teaching and composition day-jobs keep me very busy, but I must say that I enjoy making UA-cam content most of all and would love to prioritize it. I would love to hear some of your compositions one day, whenever that feels right ✨
@@maxkonyi Hey Max....hope you are staying well during all this craziness. In case you are interested, I looked into the Amazon Wish Lists and here is what I learned. You access lists under the Account & List in the upper right hand corner. Under the Your Lists heading you'll see Create list. Click and it will (eventually) take you to a create list dialog. There, just select Wish List and add some items you would like. There is a Share List button where you can grab a public link. Post that in your video description and people can buy things for you directly. I stumbled on this when learning video editing and one of my favorite guys had his list up there. It was an easy way for me to express my appreciation with out signing up for yet one more service/site. Thanks again for all your efforts....much appreciated.
@@toddwmac Wow, thank you! I appreciate the info. I'll look into that today. Keeping well here in Canada. Hope the same for you 🙏 I appreciate you, my friend.
I'd like to second all the other comments here, these are by far the best tutorials I've seen on StudioOne. Thanks, very well explained and very helpful!
I’m more of a live audio guy and remember learning a ton about synthesizers in audio school but have forgotten a lot cause I hadn’t been using it. But wanting to expand beyond just live instruments in my sessions. Your videos are super helpful!!
I have subscribed, Liked what i've viewed, going through your other playlists. They are awesome! You really help me appreciate the simple elegance of the tools and instruments provided in Studio One.
Thank you so much for this course, I'm about 2/3 of the way. Been playing instruments traditionally for almost twenty years, but Studio One is my first DAW. What a surprise to learn about Studio One but also get a nice refresher that brings all of the music theory knowledge flooding back in. Okay, breaktime over, have to grab my pen again and rewind lol.
Great content, have subscribed and I’m just trying to find the follow up Mai Tai instructional videos. Maybe you could put them in a playlist to make it easier? Thanks for the good work
Thank you 🙏🏼 Yes, I will soon go through the channel and try organize everything more clearly. In the meantime, here are the two Mai Tai streams: Part 1: ua-cam.com/video/z2XU9dM6G80/v-deo.html Part 2:ua-cam.com/video/j6oc4aSpHV0/v-deo.html
Awesome video man. Most of my synth tracks that I create come from silly little riffs on my guitar. Which is cool. But then I have to come up with other guitar parts😂
That's a great way to go about it, no doubt! The instrument you know best gives you a lot of freedom. Though, it's interesting the way certain instruments influence what we write... For example, the way a guitar is tuned will influence the chord voicings and riffs we come up with versus a keyboard. Glad you liked the video 🙌🏻
I'm a beginner with mai tai, and synths, and your explanation is real good made it easy for me to learn, thank you🙏🏾
These are legitimately the best Studio One tutorials/lessons I have ever found.
Wow, thank you for the support 🙌
I'm so glad you're enjoying them!
@@maxkonyi Not a problem I have learned more than I thought I would! Keep up the fantastic work.
I approve this message!

I have watched tons of vids on sound design. This is by far the most clear and understandable video. It all makes perfect sense now.
That's great to hear! Happy to help 🙌
Three min into the video it is clear that you’ll be answering all my questions.
Thank you.
🙌🙌🙌
educative and easy to understand, thanks!

Thank you for this tutorial. I feel like this is something I should be paying for. Presonus should embed this in the DAW for new users 😄
That would be cool!
Is it me or is this synth really good? I don't know a lot about synth vsts.
Mai Tai is great synth to get started with. It has its limitations, but you'll know when you outgrow it. Until then, you're set!
how can i donate to this channel? Its way worth it.
Thank you Victor 🙏
I'm working on a convenient solution for this right now and will post it here soon. Much appreciated!

To synthesize is to play gymnastics with a timber/ tone.
Pretty much!
