      @@quantaaudio hi, there's a bass preset called Logdrum in the DX10 by FL studio. I'd give anything to recreate it using MaiTai

    This has been a tremendous help. I have been experimenting with 808 wav samples but they never seem to sound just right. This method gives me much more control over the total sound...and they sound more natural...well as natural as a synthesized sound can be I guess! Is it ok if I tag you on a video where I use your technique?

    Hi, good stuff man. I’m new to this so I have a dumb question. How do you export/record the sound in a track once you’ve created the 808 you want to use?

    • @FlatTire
      @FlatTire Рік тому

      Look for bounce to new track or transform to audio track once you record your midi note(s)
      You can drag and drop your midi event directly to sample One and it will automatically render your sample… plenty options

    Hey, an Sine waveform with Distortion on it has nothing to do with 808. It is just a sine wave with distortion on it. Lot of people always mix it up.

      @quantaaudio  Рік тому

      If you say so, man. But, I'm still going to continue to refer to this as an 808. In my community and the music I grew up on, this is what we call it.

    where do i get these 808 samples from?

    • @justcedrick32
      @justcedrick32 3 роки тому +1

      Created them in a synth(maitai) and added different effects and distortion. That's how people make their 808s.
