Hi, can I use the k seal when I still got coolant in the tank. My coolant is in the middle, between max and min. I'm just wondering would I just dilute it to much. Thank you.
K seal works well when the leak is very small or just starting to notice a problem. Once the gasket is blown there's very little you can do other than replace it.
My coolant is orange and it doesn't seem to change the color any. I put it in my 4 cylinder Ford focus as a preventative as I suspected a leak was starting they're notorious for coolant leaks. So far no problems.
@@TheCampervanBuilder yes, I can confirm on third attempt it has worked, each time I ran the car on with the heater for 30 minutes. So for me it's taken longer to stop the drip. Thank you for the video, it gave me the impetus to try it again!

@@prawdziwapolska2014 I would pour it in, run the engine and keep the heater on hot for 30 mins and check the leak has stopped otherwise repeat until it works, mine took 3 attempts! Good luck

guess you had no egg whites lol people will say that sealants are bad for the engine, its only part true, as some have very odd water flow in the block that can be adversely affected by sealants, i know some of the older honda/rover engines would internally block and be ruined by the packets of fish flake stuff..
I've heard some engines can be funny with it but it got me out of a jam, allowing me to use the van until it went in for service, belts & new radiator, did the trick for me
Use it in all my cars and bikes. Also good to put in as a preventative. Works very well

@@prawdziwapolska2014Always mix K-SEAL with some antifreeze before pouring into radiator. This precents globs and will make K-SEAL work better
K-SEAL should only be used as a temporary fix until radiator can be replaced. Wll not seal hoses. Permanent fix ? Laughable

Love the RX-8 seats
I meant to ask did you get a new radiator?
I'm kidding 😂 .. thanks for the review of k seal . I'm about to use it. .. fingers crossed 🤞
I have a 2008 Honda Civic could I put k seal straight into the radiator? Or is that a no go
Yes you can.
HI GREAT VID , DO YOU OR DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE LIQUID OR POWDER SEALENT CHANGES THE COLOUR OF THE COOLANT AFTER PUTTING IT IN ?? THANKS

it works 2/9/2024
How long did this fox last for?
Do you have to turn on the heat because it doesn’t show on the bottle but I see others do it!?
Yes u have to to allow the coolant to flow around the engine.
@@demo1762 oh ok thanks
@@charrasabram1356 also, dont just put it in the tank... dilute it first with water never put it in straght from the bottle.
@@demo1762 oh ok
Lol wrong
do u think i could use this on my 96 cadillac? my blower motor has gone out so i can't blow heat/air
possibly, I'm not a mechanic though so probably best to run the idea past someone who's worked on those cars to get a better idea
replace your blower motor it has nothing to do with your radiator. its just a fan that blows your heat or cold air
Likely wouldn't do a thing too help that.
How much
Just tried it on leaking radiator, unfortunately this has not worked for me.
Did you get the radiator up to temp? If not, get in touch with the makers of the stuff

@@Asadkhan-pe2je cheers mate, I've only ordered one bottle so far, I will let you know. Thank you!
It's not a case of whether these work or not. People want to know how long it actually lasts for.
Its not designed as a long term fix, just enough to arrange a proper repair/repalcement
It says that it's permanent but I believe that only really applies to him what is just beginning to leak.
to bad the front's fulling off

I knew someone a long time ago who actually ground up some oatmeal and used it as a stop leak and it actually worked.
