My wife is a convert from Islam, but all of her immediate family is still Muslim in Nigeria. I pray for their conversation with all my heart. We are not sure how to evangelize to them without causing division in the family. They are very accepting of our Catholic faith and we don't want to push them away.

Amazing, I really do think we Catholics need to evangelize and do more apologetics to Islam, Thank God for Charbel

There are several people who evangelize to muslims on UA-cam. In order of effectiveness.
      1. Christian prince
      2. Sam shamoun
      3. David Wood
      4. Jay Smith.
These are the most reputable and competent against muslims.

Authors of 4 canonical gospels are unknown:
“All four of the canonical gospels were originally anonymous. It was only in the second century CE, when the four gospels were published as a collection that the superscriptions were added to the gospels, attributing authorship to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John respectively. This is also the time that traditions begin to appear about the authors, claiming that they were either original apostles of Jesus or close acquaintances of other well-known apostles. in spite of these attributions, most scholars do not think any of these men were the original gospel writers. None of the gospels is written in a style that suggests the authors was present at the events being narrated. Nor is it likely that the disciples of Jesus were able to write in Greek, the language in which the gospels were written. So we are left with the reality that the gospels were written by anonymous Christians decades after the events that they relate.” (1)
Dr. David M. Carr (Union Theological Seminary) & Dr Colleen M. Conway (Seton Hall University)
“The four Gospels were published anonymously… they seem to have been written with no authors names attached. We don’t know how or when these names were attached to these Gospels’ that is lost to history.” (2)
      Dr. Dale Martin (Yale University)
“The four Gospels were written anonymously between A.D. 70 and 100, and assembled into a collection about A.D. 125. The authors did not provide them with titles, others added them later.” (3)
Dr. David E. Aune (University of Notre Dame)
“Formally speaking, all four canonical Gospels are anonymous since their authors names are not mentioned anywhere within the context of the verses themselves… The superscript of each of the four Gospels is not an original part of the document.. it was likely later appended to the scroll for identification.” (4)
Dr. Ben Witherington (Asbury Theological Seminary)

      Christian scholars about PAUL(Christianity)
Soren Kierkegaard, Danish Christian philosopher and theologian, observes in “The Journals:” “What Martin Luther, in his reformation, failed to realize is that even before Catholicism, Christianity had become degenerate at the hands of Paul. Paul made Christianity the religion of Paul, not of Christ. Paul threw the Christianity of Christ away, completely turning it upside down; making it just the opposite of the original proclamation of Christ.”
Bishop John S. Spong, Episcopal Bishop of Newark, New Jersey, USA, writes in his book, “Rescuing the Bible from Fundamentalism:” “Paul’s words are not the Words of God. They are the words of Paul- a vast difference.”
Thomas Jefferson, third president of the United States and author of the Declaration of Independence; writes in his “Letter to William Short:” “Of this band of dupes and imposters, Paul was the great Coryphaeus, and the first corrupter of the doctrines of Jesus.”
Gene Savoy, American theologian and clergyman, declares in his “The Essaei Document:” “Paul’s Christianity is another matter. He taught a different kind of theology than that shared by the original disciples who were schooled under Jesus. Paul was the father of Pagan Christianity; a movement based on a concept completely foreign to Jesus. The teachings of Jesus the Messiah were overshadowed by the teachings of Paul.”
Thomas Cosette, a Christian scholar, writes in “Hebrew Prophecies of the Coming of Paul:” “This man Paul hijacked what is called the church. But he can only keep those who do not love the truth. Those who still have conscience and will compare his teaching and his testimony to Y’shva’s and the prophets without granting Paul’s testimony (is) the Word of God but (is) just another man’s testimony in light of Jesus’ teachings. Then they will discover that Paul usurps the truth.”

The way this man simplified the understanding of how Christians and Muslims see the holy trinity and the resurrection of Christ is the best I’ve heard. The way he asked his friend “why was Jesus put on the cross?” “what crime did he commit?” 💯🙏 love it!

Great Testimony! Hail Mary! I learned a lot during this interview. Regarding Islam and multiple Marriages and the importance of Mary. Men put extra stuff in Religion to satisfy their own needs. The switching of Jesus to Judas on the Cross. Judas died before Christ. How is that possible?

like the many Christians kings and prophets who had multiple wife also please understand men ad women are not equal get that liberal bs out of your head men in general mate with multiple women while women are better off restricted to one mate. Men with more status tend to have more women look at the god damn kings in Christianity.

church fathers: no we have stated who wrote them

The Eucharist ceases to be once the appearances of bread and wine are no longer present. When you consume and digest the Eucharist, it no longer has the appearances of bread and wine. Thus, you're not excreting Christ's Body and Blood.

Just a pro-tip, but citing non-Catholic authorities doesn't have much weight with Catholics as a convincing Biblical argument. They already deny the historic canon, so going one step further and throwing out all of Paul just doesn't matter to Catholics.
