Weird question, as a Student about to move to Charleston from Oklahoma as a College freshman what would be a few good things to know living as a college student in the area?
Hi there, I'm really considering moving to Charleston, but being from the west coast of Canada, I have no experience living somewhere that has poisonous snakes or insects etc. Does it happen often where dogs get bitten by snakes or anything else poisonous? In BC, my dog likes catching the gardner snakes here.

Neither of my dogs have been bitten by venomous snakes. I actually have never personally seen one in 10.5 years.
