I just picked up a pack of these to try out. Gave it a shot for my last big workout and, coincidentally, had a fantastic workout. I'm usually pretty skeptical and it could have been placebo, but it felt like more than that. Who knows, though. I've got a pretty sensitive stomach, no issues. Made me crazy thirsty though. Anyway, it was a good enough experience that I'll be using it for my key races this spring/summer.
Let's hope some actual real quantifiable data comes out over the summer about this product, cause man...this is MAD $$$ to Maurten's bottom line! And I don't mind paying for things that provide results. Would seem lactic acid buildup would be more of a concern at shorter events like the 5k/10k. And maybe that's what Maurten is going for, breaking into the middle distance market. /shrug Love the content and quirky humour!

It’s pretty gross but I feel like it does help you feel less tired at the end of hard races mile-10k
