Hi I am from Canada and love to watch your show. Can’t wait to see how you fix up your homestead.. I think I would paint the kitchen counter as long as you use durable paint. I think white would look lovely.
I thought a darker gray would look nice. Like you said, it camouflages scuff marks and would look good with the sofa.
I agree, a dark grey to match that couch..but black or dark espresso would also look good.
I vote for a slightly darker shade of paint on the island. Oh, that Willow Berry is the cutest to watch play.
if she has only white paint than paint it that because she will be leaving and it's rental. But I do think darker gray is a good choice too.

Soft scrambled eggs...but will eat prepared any other way. Enjoyed watching the animals. Always love the videos. Relaxing simple living. Love it!✌🏿
Your little doggy made me smile today. I lost my little Sissy 2 weeks ago after having her by my side for over 16 years. Willow Berry is precious, so is Max. Hug them tight. I am 63 and started in my 50s, you can do it.

Again another great video. So sweet how Milo ran to catch up to you. Your fur babies are sweet as most are. I like my eggs hard fried the yellow has to be well done without busting and I put butter on them. I vote to paint the bar. So much easier and change color anytime. I use to live on a farm and my dad raised our food both in garden and animals. My mother and father worked well together he would help can or whatever needed done. There is no way I could do that today. I would just have them all for pets...lol. You have a great day and I can't wait till the next video. 🙂

I think painting the island a dark blue color would be pretty! All the animals are so cute together!

Hi, Valerie! Those are such adorable fox sheets you have! I can't have cute sheets like that because we have a "split king" bed. Each side is separate and can raise or lower the head and feet, so the bottom sheets are twin XL and the tops are king of course. And Milo was so sweet to follow you all on your walk! Is he going to the new homestead with you all, or is he staying with the little girl there? I think for the island it would be much easier to just paint the base white and be done with it. Clean and neat and simple. And finally, my favorite egg breakfast is very simple: just scrambled eggs on toasted english muffins, with nice salty butter! Haha, thanks for sharing your day with us; much love to all! :)

When I was young, nobody decorated for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. Now people start to decorate for Christmas at Halloween. When you put your Christmas decorations up after Thanksgiving, they will be fresh and new to your subscribers.
That's what I do. I have my Thanksgiving 🦃 that lights up, a wreath that says "Give Thanks", and a peace & plenty etc... I love Thanksgiving! I get excited about Christmas the weekend after when we go 🎄 shopping!

I am from Northern Ireland, and I love seeing all the different food stuff and your dinners.
We put up our tree Thanksgiving night. I still want fall decor for Thanksgiving, but we leave our tree up til end of January. If you paint white just don't let boys wear shoes while eating.
I love the way Willowberry"s tail goes back and forth so fast! I have to admit Milo has my heart ❤ . There is nothing better than a man who can cook!
Add to that list is a man who likes cats!
Willow if you use any information from any of these go by the one from Farmers Almanac. They tell you when to plant, all sorts of things. When you move please don’t forget Milo. Please don’t leave him. A lot of people don’t treat animals the way you guys do. I would paint the counter white. I am a new subscriber and I love your channel. So glad I found it. I can’t wait to see what you do with your new place. It will be gorgeous I know. And there’s not to much to know about keeping stock. Just give them shelter in the winter and feed them. If you have a lot of land with your new place cows and horses can graze in the summer.

As always a great video love when you were walking the dog and the cat was on the fence walking along with you can't wait to see you next what I really enjoy them forgot I like my eggs over medium
Start with chickens, May sell eggs, get your seeds from Hoss and be sure to amend the soil with nutrients and maybe chicken manure or something. Consider raised beds since you have the handyman.start with water bath and maybe use pressure can meat to save money and time. Be sure and have an area set aside for canned oroducts and buy in bulk when possible. Have fun!!

Love seeing you walking up drive with those three fur-babies so cute. Island I would beadboard on horizontal then paint black(tie in you livingroom sofa, storage plus kitchen hardware on cabinets)or the chowder colour you used on floor chowder just may show scuffs from sitting on stools.

Painting the island a white glossy color would be beautiful but it will show all the scuff marks so maybe a darker color would be better! Love your videos!

I like the idea of painting the island white which brightens the room and makes everything appear to be bigger. But the scuff marks when the boys are sitting in the stools make be a problem. Either way, it will look great!

Start canning with something easy like jelly and water bathing to help build your confidence with canning, once you get that down you will be wanting to can everything. Canned roast and chicken has helped saved many late nights when I didn't want to cook anything lol it's already done just need to heat it up.. I order my seeds from baker's creek they usually offer free shipping. I've ordered from them last few years and never had any germination problems, their seeds are great.. I was scared when I first got chickens and but honestly there is so many videos on UA-cam that has helped me when I first started with chickens 9 years ago. It's really live and learn because every homestead is different then the next and everyone has there own way of raising animals. Chickens are really easy and have been so much fun to raise. We also raise turkeys. You just have to figure out what works for you all. Will be exciting new adventure for you all. Plus if you ever have a question, you have plenty of viewers I'm sure can help you. I'm excited for you all with this new chapter of homesteading

I would paint the kitchen cabinet gray. Good neutral color that goes well with so many things. Those fur shoes are precious! Plain to see Max loves the outdoors and dreams about it a lot. Looks like you have lots of reading material to read this winter about life in the country. It is a lot of work. I grew up in the country and learned a lot that became a part of my life that I always loved and cherish the things my parents and grandpa taught me. I wish you luck in this new venture. Also I prefer my eggs scrambled. My neighbors have chickens so I have fresh eggs most days!

I love how your husband like to take care of you as well. You accomplish a lot in a day so to know you have that support makes a big difference. Also did you most of those styles of stoves you can lift the top to clean underneath?. And as for the homestead you should learn a lot about you soil and how to treat it as well as plant health and safe ways to keep critters from eating your food source.

You need to watch acher homestead on UA-cam. Becky will teach you all about gardening and how to can what you grow. She'll teach you about freeze drying your vegetables and how to dehydrated veggies. She shares lots of recipes too. I hope this helps you out. I think it's wonderful you plan on starting your own homestead sweetie. I can't wait to see all the wonderful veggies you grow in your garden.

When you move, you'll just love canning all your harvest. I grew up on a farm with a mom who loved to preserve all the vegatables and fruit. It was great!
