What a fantastic walk-thru. We’re in the same boat and looking at this model. We visited the factory in northern Iowa and it was impressive. Really well done guys. George looks like a veteran like me thanks brother. Hopefully we’ll see you on the road some time!
Thanks for your service friend. We have enjoyed every minute in this RV. It drives nice and is very comfortable to live in. We are just wrapping up a 6 month, 10,000 mile trip with no issues. We are happy with our choice of the Winnebago View G.
Just found your channel, and this video. I’m a wanna be rver but hubby not so much. After looking at many RV’s - in person, online and on UA-cam, I knew my instincts were right about this particular brand and model, when I watched this video. This RV would be my first choice, as the quality and workmanship is obviously there not just in looks when I’ve seen various videos about it, but as you are living in it full time, you both are testament that it truly is well made! Thanks for the wonderful tour and your mods are quite thoughtfully done!
Thanks for the kind words. We love the lifestyle but it isn’t for everyone. We recommend renting an RV and spending a week or two traveling someplace interesting. You will get a feel of how the lifestyle fits you personally. We wish you the best of luck on your journey and hope our paths cross someday.
Really thorough walk thru. You have some fantastic organizational ideas and George is a very handy guy. That T-shirt rack idea is so smart. Think we're gonna try to incorporate the drawer under the table idea. Nicely done!!
Sounds like a thoughtful decision to keep with your class C! Always good to live in the "here and now" with an eye on future plans. Great tour as well!
My only complaint about my 2011 Winnebago View is the shower is to small. I have a curtain that lets water everywhere but I carry many rag or car towels.
Life's a full circle. My previous RV was a Class A, and it was too much work and we downsized to the View. You just never know until you try for yourself. I think the View is a great size and like it better than the class A (at this point in our lives) I don't think you are missing out. Just like a house we start our smaller, move up larger, and then decide to downsize lol. 1st world problems for sure, and definitely no wrong choice no matter what you decide.
Thank you! We wanted diesel because we planned to tow our Jeep and wanted the extra torque and durability the Sprinter chassis provides. We have been happy with it. Thanks for watching and best of luck on your search.
There is a lot of storage volume wise but only 1055 of Occupants Cargo Carrying Capacity. When you add two average size adults and an 80lb golden Retriever that leaves about 700lbs for everything else, food, water, cloths, gear etc. We shed close to 400lbs of stuff (I packed way too many tools) in the first 6 months on the road and we are still a little over weight. It is a challenge with these smaller RVs.
We just got a new to us View 24D and really like it. I loved the "booster seat" you have for the front seats and wondered where you got them. I would like to get a set for us. Would make a great upgrade. Thanks for the tour and tips.
We originally found them for sale through Winnebago but they were ridiculously priced so Louise made them before we hit the road. You might be able to find them for sale on the the View/Navion Motorhomes Facebook group but they are hard to find secondhand.
@@MilesAcrossUSA Could you tell me how high they are? Have found something that is 5 inches tall and thought that might work. Thanks for your response.
They are small but we spent most of our time outside. the biggest problem with them is the carrying capacity (occc). We would be grossly over weight if we filled every nook and cranny of available space so we carry only what we need. Thanks for watching.
I ordered a class b + ( actually a size c)just like the size you have, still waiting for it, has been watching a lot of storage ideas but not too many videos like this size of rv, I will have similar lay out except we are downsizing from a 28 foot class c to this, I need the extra high tech safety and the shorter and smaller size these days. We do decide on the theatre seats and marshy bed options, that way even smaller in size will be more space to use than the bigger class c, will take on some of your storage idea from both of you, look forward to see more videos from you.
Oh wow! Best of luck with your new RV. It is so much fun identifying storage problems and coming up with solutions. Enjoy your new RV and thanks for watching.
They are actually remote control hangers we got from Amazon. They are two parts but we just used the loop part to hang our glasses. Aveks 4X Remote Control Wall Self... www.amazon.com/dp/B085KXT72P?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Nicely done! Brian says “get those Battle Born’s installed” 😊
I’m working on it 😅 Thanks for watching!
We are looking at a 2015 model. Your video, personality, pointers, and tips were perfect. I look forward to your other videos.
Thank you so much for the kind words and thanks for watching. Best of luck finding your RV. We used RVTrader with great success.
Awesome intro and video!!

That’s a bummer. Maybe this would work for you: a.co/d/2OER5Fw
Nice tour. I will be looking for the organization video. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching. The organization video is in our queue. Stay tuned.

We really do appreciate the size when looking for campsites. Many campsites are just too small for larger RVs but we fit nicely. Thanks for watching.
great video ! I would LOVE to get a View, just don't want a diesel engine. Too bad the other manufacturers dont do as good a job.
Thank you! We wanted diesel because we planned to tow our Jeep and wanted the extra torque and durability the Sprinter chassis provides. We have been happy with it. Thanks for watching and best of luck on your search.
Nice tour! Amazing all the nooks and crannies and how much you can fit into a small RV!

New to your channel. Love it. We have navion 24v. Retired couple with a newfoundland pup.
Where did you order the camper photo? Happy travels.
It was a gift from a family member. I’ll reach out to them to get the details and get back to you. Thanks for watching.

@@janettapritchard6868 We used 5 inch thick foam to make ours so that should work for you.
Good job, smaller then I expected. You make good use of the space.

What can of rack do you use for your bikes, Oh do you think you will tow a vehicle?
The bikes ride in the back of the Jeep which we do tow most of the time. Thanks for watching.
