    Some folks are using this method and then using high temp resistant epoxy to seal the gap between the brass nipple and the neck to make sure it doesn't leak when temps get really high. Hope that fix worked for you! I was too nervous to have my radiator fail and just bought a new one. But it's been a hell of a job!

      Hi; So far so good. This isn't a daily driver but it's been holding up well.

    Oh man, you got lucky there with that not leaking. After you had to back it out a little I was thinking you were toast.
