On our 2000 Rav4 the brake lights suddenly started staying on. The culprit is a small rubber button located on the brake pedal brake light switch. I pulled the fuse to save the battery as I researched it. From what I could see, this part fits many models. Just a quick update on progress with the QT50. It's not been operated/driven for 7-8 years.

A video of myself investigating whether I may have an issue with head gaskets or EGR cooler. I check for gas release into the coolant system through a very low-tech method that works pretty well. A quick video showing my fix for a broken blend door. The actuator arm mount/lever on the blend door is plastic and broke off at some point in the past. The actuator was not affected.

Here's some tips that may help anyone changing oil on a 2000 Toyota Rav4 with a 2.0l engine front wheel drive, 1st Gen model. Nothing ground-breaking, but if you're unsure or haven't done this before, then this video may help. I used a WIX filter P/N 51394
