    I put 3 jugs of coolant in my vehicle and it was empty the next day, saw massive puddles on the driveway, bought k seal and it almost immediately sealed the leak.. wasn’t sure where it was coming from … I highly recommend

    All of these comments and videos that show it working makes me feel better. Just discovered a leak somewhere(and not knowing where it was coming from) but the suspect was definitely the coolant, as I noticed after filling the reservoir not too long ago and only go to work and back with vehicle I found the coolant low. So I bought this and followed the instructions.. it all just sounded too simple and good to be true 😆 I’ll be looking at the reservoir later, but I’m glad to know I’m not the only one that learned about this on a whim in an effort to save hundreds of repair costs.

      Ford 3.0 is known for that 3rd time leaking in my Ranger at 220,000 miles. Twice it’s leaked a tear drop leak from the top passenger side of the timing cover, only when the truck was cold or sat over night. The other time it leaked oil from the bottom. At this mileage and point I’m going to give k seal a shot

      I loved it, it stopped literally every leak but the thermostat housings the 4.0 SOHCs are infamous, which I ate 4 of them in 12K miles and I bought a brand new one and it caused an overheating issue, which that mostly I believe was caused by the fact I flushed the coolant.

      I was not sure it would work, either. But I was losing so much coolant every time I shut off the engine and overnight. I had fresh coolant running through the engine all the time. I took the well shaken K-Seal and added it to a bowl, and then added 3 empty K-Seal bottles of fresh coolant to the bowl. Mixed well, I poured it all into the radiator and filled up the overflow reservoir. I started the engine with the heater on full blast and let it run for about ten minutes. Then I gently drove the car on a country road about 45 miles per hour for 15 minutes. I parked and shut off the engine. That is when I put my usual catch container under the car where the leak was coming from the water pump above and saw that one drip. So I figured, well, it was worth a try. Next morning, only that little drip was in the dish! Been running with no leaks at all for over a week, and at perfect operating temp. Drove two hours to another state and back yesterday, no problems, all all ...

Still no leaking under the car when I shut off the engine at a store, and it used to start dripping immediately. No loss of coolant overnight, either. I left K-Seal in the radiator, too. Happy this worked!

      For $14 I would try it , a guy on here in the comments said he did it for a water pump and it worked... I was shocked when he said that... I would give it a try Luanne we spend $14 on crazy stuff at least try it. Just shake very well and it to coolant ( check to see if you need to add a little coolant ) and then let it idle for 15 mins after adding it.. And see what it does..depending how bad the water pump leak is

    Unbelievable! My mechanic told me that the engine on Toyota Matrix has blown gasket and that one of the pistons isn’t working. He didn’t recommend gasket change, since later on the engine would start burning oil. Anyway, recommendation was to change the engine with a low mileage.
    The matrix is 2009 with 180k miles. K-seal worked within 10 minutes! I poured the whole thing right into the radiator and not the coolant reservoir. It works for sure! I have no idea what’s in that liquid, but it just works!

    Diverted 40 miles out of my way to walmart bumf*ck Egypt.

      Update: yes, it did work. Hit the road and was able to drive home without having to stop.
      However, in the 3 days the car was parked, the fluid dumped out.
      I didn't have time to f×k with it so my solution was to get another bottle of K-seal.
      Result: been fine ever since. Check the fluid every time I get in and it hasn't dropped any.
      I had a concern that using 2 bottles might gunk up the radiator but that does not appear to be the case as my temp is exactly where it's supposed to be with zero fluctuation.
      I endorse this product.

Pour it in as per instructions and the leak stopped almost right right away. The leak was from behind the water pump. We have had no leaks since and we put it in 3 years ago. I bought a 289 2bbl, automatic '66 Fairlane 500 convertible a number of years back. First time on the interstate, running 70 mph for about 25 miles, it ran hot. Cooled down, removed thermostat, put in coolant, etc and paid closer attention and quickly found it getting too hot again. It was okay at 55, so I drove home at 55. Investigated and the radiator would only barely flow water out when I took the lower hose off and ran my water hose in the top. Bought a new radiator, hoses, etc and it barely got better. Volunteered to drive one of a number of "festival princess" kids in a parade. Less than 1 mile took about 45 minutes and it was running hot again. Cold weather came and with the car at above 180 degrees, no heat. Pulled the heater core...not a drop of water came out when I tested it. Replaced core, heat is good. Running down the road above 55-60mph and still getting too hot. By the end, I replaced all hoses, the radiator, heater core, thermostat, water pump and the belt and yes, I made sure to check the engine timing, etc. My conclusion is that if, over the years you put enough stop leak in a cooling system, you will have deposits of it all through your cooling system and the solution might be to hot tank the block, heads and intake manifold to clean that mess out. I don't know if that will actualy work. So, yes, I am certain stop leak treatments work. I will NEVER put that cure for leaks in anything else I own. This story is not made up. When I sold the car, I told the couple that bought it that it did not like running over 55 mph for any length of time or it will run hot. I did not make any of this up. If a heater core leaks, either have a shop silver solder it up (copper) or replace them. They aren't that expensive. Same for the radiator.

    We had a small leak after an accident, added K-seal, the leak stopped. After 2-3 months I flushed the radiator (no leaks during the process of the flushing, when you idle the car w/max heat ~ 15-20 min). The car was sitting like 2-3 months (I did some re[pairs on it). I totally forgot about that previous leak. Then I drove it like for ~20 mi, having it in cool mode, no leaks. Next day my husband took it to work and though it is summer he switched on Heat mode, like half way, bcs he remembered about that leak and thought it would be better for a car. So car went like ~ 30-40 mi and when he came back he said he observed some overheating, when I went to see, the sign on low coolant appeared on the dash, and the coolant container was empty. I added coolant, but after like 10 mins of driving the coolant went way down again and the sign for low coolant came (again he was keeping the Heat mode on). Then I switched the Cool mode on and the coolant in the container (I added of course) remains on the same level. What that can be that the car (2003 Chevy Cavalier) is loosing coolant only in Heat Mode? Is it something w/Heater core? I don't know if the Heater core is involved, when you drive in Cool mode. I would appreciate any comments on this matter. Thank you for a great film.

    • @bstfordchannel923
      @bstfordchannel923  3 роки тому +1

      Know very little on Chevy, but let say ( i have seen ) a valve turn on on some cars and the valve is on the heater hose. So if that valve turns on in heater mode THEN I can see that the heater core can be a issue, but where is the leak coming from or going... The fluid has to go somewhere.. Then if you fine it then you can figure what it is.. Inside the car or coolant smell inside the cars Heater Core.. this is a odd one

    • @olenaerhardt7725
      @olenaerhardt7725 3 роки тому +1

      @@bstfordchannel923 Thank you for the replay and explanations. I thought there was a leak, but when I added the coolant at the very first day we saw a sign on the dash board it was rain, so it might be just water. I think maybe when I flushed the coolant I didn't warm the car enough for the heater core to open and didn't add enough coolant. So when my husband started to drive w/Heat mode on the H Core got open, took some coolant inside and that caused the drop of the level in the container. I didn't drive that car yet (we use other cars we have), and the only thing I can say now that the car is not loosing coolant when it is sitting. I'm not sure or to add K-seal for any chance before driving, or to add distilled water if there is a need and find that leak if any. I've read somewhere that adding K-sealant can cause problems w/Heater Core (which might be exactly our case, maybe smth was cracked in it during the last accident, though the blow was fm the driver side and no fluid was observed on the floor of the passenger side), or w/water pump. I'll update after more observations of the car. Thank you again.

    Some pour into overflow tank, others pour into radiator. Is one better or different purpose? Definitely have a coolant leak, and possibly heater core leak (slight fogging in winter, but I run heater only for a couple of minutes to warm up the cabin). Have Ford Focus 2010.

    any proof that it actually worked ? the video , is very vague , shows a dashboard , a radiator cap , and a random start of the car , was it even leaking coolant ? was there bad exhaust fumes from the exhaust or the computer not registering the coolant temp from the leak? and actual leaks? maybe it was never leaking and it was a previous leak and you hadnt cleared the ventilation system out , so many questions that are not addressed .. :(

      when i did this video it was for the people that was subscribed to the channel that understood what i was dealing with... The car was leaking the antifreeze through vents ( heater core ) so it did work for about a year that was good enough time for anyone to get there money right to repair it..The car had other issues electrical... Then i used it on my Truck with external pump leak it fixed that ( it depends on the leak ) and if you have more water than antofreeze this product will not work... i thank you for your comment.. This is not a mechanic in a bottle this is design to get you buy it can last for years or 3 months

    After using K seal on my 2005 Honda Civic, I noticed there was a white powder on the ground the next day under my car. I poured it in the radiator with distilled water bc I hear it has to be diluted. However, what does the white powder mean? I’m thinking it’s K seal that may have leaked out I’m not sure

    Was kinda blown away by how quick this stuff worked. Idled the car for 15min, topped off the antifreeze meanwhile (was leaking real bad)... then shook the K Seal bottle for 30 seconds and poured in the same reservoir. Stopped leaking after a minute and was able to drive home 10miles without adding any more antifreeze. Checked it at home and was amazed that it hadn’t leaked at all! Definitely a quick fix... probably still worth replacing a leaky hose at some point, but damn. Really worked.
