I just got mine and no where does it tell you how to open it. Not even in the instruction booklet. Hopefully their product works better then their instructions. Very helpful thank you.

Great video. Did your steamer start blinking after 3 minutes and stop whilst still filled with water? I just got mine and used twice and neither time did it go the full 15 minutes. Light starts blinking and then stops steaming completely, and I have to keep turning unit on for it to continue the steam...thx
Mine definitely doesn’t do that! I usually fill mine to the max line, and when I’ve timed it it has been 15 minutes. Mine doesn’t show any blinking lights either. I’d recommend reaching out to vanity planet’s customer service for a replacement or refund, especially if you just got it!

Do you still have that problem with the plastic-like smell? I just got mine and I'm worried that it's not functioning correctly. Did the smell go away and how long did it take? Plus does yours leak water bc I have to empty the water out of the steamer
After using it several times, it does still have the plastic smell if I am not using an essential oil with it unfortunately. The smell hasn’t gone away after 5 uses, so I’m not sure at this point if it ever will go away. Mine definitely does not leak any water though! I wonder if the lid on your reservoir isn’t sealing properly? That might be something worth contacting customer service about.

Thanks for the info , I just received mine today , a birthday gift from my sister and this helped ( I hate reading instructions 😅) . Also did you notice how your door opened on its own at the beginning of the video 😨 👻
I feel you on the instructions thing! I’d much rather watch a video. Luckily, the door thing was one of my cats! This was when I first moved into my house and the knob wouldn’t latch, so they could just push the door open with their little heads if they wanted to pop in. I would 💀 if it ever opened and I didn’t see a little cat head appear!
