The fact that venom snake didn’t talked that much and that he doesn’t has the sense of humor big boss has, are very well hidden clues that indicated that venom snake wasn’t the real big boss. MGS4 is the worst entry? Damn, didn’t you forget about MGSV? MGS4 for all its faults (sucky ass 3rd act, retcons by nanomachines, plotholes, the Patriots identity etc etc) was a great game filled with good fanservice (Raiden is awesome, the return to Shadow Moses hits all the right notes, Rex vs Ray, final boss is legendary etc etc). The level design was solid, the gameplay flowed from there, the cinematics are engaging (and come the fuck on, in MGS2 they were 20min Codec conversations, long dialogues/monologues have always been part of the series), the soundtrack is magistral, etc etc In comparison MGSV looks like a damn desert of a game. Had MGSV been a standalone game, (or if nobody knew it was a Hideo Kojima game) it wouldn’t have had half the praise it did. It is a passable game. The level design is barren and equivalent to Fallout 76 (save for Ground Zeroes, but hey that was sold separately, great move again). Because of this fact, the gameplay suffers (and the gameplay is unbalanced and casual as hell, where is the ammo and health management? The sniper destroys any possible interactions too) There is no choice of difficulty (a staple of MGS) The editing of the mission sucks balls, there is no flow to the story or gameplay, enjoy your helicopter rides. Is this Peace Walker? I won’t get in too much details but some stuff is jarring in comparaison to older games. The intro while cinematic sucks balls, previous games gave you a real small tutorial area to learn the gameplay, much more engaging then crawling and looking at Ishmael’s ass for an hour. Speaking of another thing the older games did better. Boss battles. Portable Ops had more memorable bosses then this fucking game. They had real gimmicks and differences. MGSV with the Skulls and ST-84 is just, bland, like the level design in a way. There is no story. It is a mismatch of missions connected on still screens where Miller screams in your ear like a 4chan member that Cipher is behind everything. People scream at MGS4 for nanomachines but half of the plot in MGSV IS FREAKING PARASITES! Venom is boring as shit. Raiden in MGS2 had more fucking charisma (and that is not a good comparison). How the fuck do people follow this dude who doesn’t speak? Looks like the real leader of DD is Miller rather then him. Ocelot is OOT. Quiet is...Do I really need to explain this? Kojima doesn’t know how to write female characters, but here it is quite the new low. And what are we suppose to feel shame about? Miller is okay. Skullface too. For the whole 15 minutes he appears. But the presentation? (remember the car ride?) Huey is for fucking far from PW, it baffles me that people don’t think he’s been replaced by a body double too. Big Boss is OOT. Wasn’t Outer Heaven made so that soldiers wouldn’t be used by others? You know, like in Snake Eater? So what the fuck is happening with Venom? Also, telling the player is Big Boss is spitting on the whole message lf the Saga. MGS2 had it right, stop with appropriation fantasy, be your own person. I don’t know if Fukushima was the one behind the genius of the story, but wether or not that is the case, MGSV is a passable game regardless of story. Turning to open world (and what a joke it was of an open world, MGS4 had more interactions with the environement and battlefields) was a big mistake. With Death Stranding coming, I hope MGSV is what is because of Kojima’s fatigue with the saga and not because of an overhype of his capabilities.
@@GabisonStudios I still honestly believe that if MGSV was done right, it would've been the best one period. The story would've brought everything to a full circle. I personally like Venom just because of how he ties into the story as the guy who was the most badass soldier in MSF and became the closest thing to BB without cloning. Other than that you're pretty much right about everything, even how Raiden is more of a character than Venom. It really makes me sad that this could've been THAT metal gear game. MGSV has the best game mechanics/graphics by far, but what has MG always been about? Good to great captivating gameplay with a fucking amazing story and great level design which MGSV obviously lacked with. Oh wait nvm I found the story, or at least most of it. The dumbasses cut it up and put them into cassette tapes. The potential with this game was too great and they just fucked it all up, one of their first mistakes was rushing the release of this game and making MGSV: GZ and MGSV: TPP into separate games. Who knows what kind of idiot it takes to literally separate a very important prologue from the main game itself. Kojima? Konami? Probably both at this point. GZ had many things that TPP lacked but TPP had many things that GZ lacked as well, almost as if they were pretty much saying fuck you yeah I'll do what I want to the fans lol. Overall I still love MGSV, it's unique in its own way but damn I'd be making a complete fool out of myself if I said it doesn't make me sad because it does and I truly do wish it was given the time and effort that its predecessors had. What could've been.... now my last hopes (not gonna let them grow too much especially after MG Survive) are that Konami releases RE2/3 like remasters for the first two original Metal Gear games. I feel like that would really bring back light into this franchise but then again it's fucking Konami and if I'm not mistaken the first two MGs are Kojimas, so I'm not too sure how that would work out. It's 2020 and the last recorded year in the MG story was 2018 with Raiden, they need to do something. Now I'm depressed thinking about how unfinished this game is lol, guess I'll go out for a smoke. WOOOOOAH HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAHH
It's a matter of preference, but claiming that mgsV is bad is just plain stupid. If it was bad it wouldn't have sold 7+ million copies. In fact, I believe there are more possibilities in mgsV, more ways to encounter a mission and more opportunity to explore and develop new weapons and items. You get to build your own army and base. Fight online and invade other players. Mgs4 is good in its own right, however while mgs5 is more open world, mgs4 is more streamlined and linear. Both are great. Claiming that mgsV is the worst in the series is nothing but stupid. Mgs4 is also good, however fans had more complaints as a lot of the game was just ridiculous design. Both are great, shut up.
@@jack_of_ass ... Wow... Just wow.... You are proof that people should re-read and rethink their further actions. I said "it can't be bad if it sold 7 million copies" You rewrote it to "it sold 7 million copies so it must be good. Grow up.
@@GabisonStudios Mgs4 is way worse than 5. There's barely any actual gameplay in 4 and only the first two acts are any good to play. mgs 4 sucks as a game because there's barely any actual game to play and it sucks as a movie because it's an overly long bloated mess with huge amounts of cringe, rectons galore and overall nonsense.
People are mad how much he doesn't talk but to be honest... I like it. Everytime he speaks it's something important and heavy "I'm already a demon" That makes his character interesting and when he talks I get excited
Apparently according to lore the brainwashing of venom was cut short and unfinished due to XOF attacking sooner than expected. As a result venom’s old personality still has a influence on him. Plus if you had a piece of shrapnel sticking out from your brain I’m sure you wouldn’t be all that with it in the head to begin with
I almost think the lack of speech from Snake is purposely done to make the scenes he is more involved that much more exciting because the moments are so few and far between. You really look forward to the next cutscene and soak it all up where in previous games a lot of people could probably fall asleep pretty easy. The cutscenes in MGSV were perfection, after a few hours of messing around in the world with missions then getting a real nice polished cutscene was the cherry on top. Kojima out his best work on this one for the cutscenes and purposely shortening them has increased demand and proved a point that they are wanted by his fans and hopefully Death Stranding will not be as lacking in terms of the cinematics.
If this is the first metal gear that you've played like me then you had no idea that this was minimal. I felt satisfied with the amount of voice lines that we were given, I guess I need to play the others because this game is seen as bad by so many people and I loved it.

The voice change is because Venom Snake isn't actually related to snake but rather is a doctor who got a face surgery so he could look like the actual big boss
I personally like Venoms preference to talking, personality wise, it makes sense since he's basically someone he isn't, he doesnt know what BB would say because he isnt BB, he also just seems to prefer thinking over talking in general, he speaks when he needs to, it provides a someone realistic sense of what Link in Breath of the wild says "i bare my burdens silently" thats not the full line but it is in a sense what Venom does, he doesnt talk if he has issues, he doesnt talk to speak his mind, he only talks to say what is needed or when its needed
+ Altimitt whatever you idiot , he should have more and more lines , he is the protagonist , he must have the lust words and talk more than anyone else , he isn't a side character after all

This is the work of all those people who complained about MGS4 cutscenes.
Gaze upon the result of your complaints.
A phantom Snake for a phantom game.
The level design was solid, the gameplay flowed from there, the cinematics are engaging (and come the fuck on, in MGS2 they were 20min Codec conversations, long dialogues/monologues have always been part of the series), the soundtrack is magistral, etc etc
In comparison MGSV looks like a damn desert of a game.
The sniper destroys any possible interactions too)
There is no choice of difficulty (a staple of MGS)
The editing of the mission sucks balls, there is no flow to the story or gameplay, enjoy your helicopter rides.
(remember the car ride?)
Huey is for fucking far from PW, it baffles me that people don’t think he’s been replaced by a body double too.

2:09 ah yes, venom snake
this actually is venom snake
I personally like Venoms preference to talking, personality wise, it makes sense since he's basically someone he isn't, he doesnt know what BB would say because he isnt BB, he also just seems to prefer thinking over talking in general, he speaks when he needs to, it provides a someone realistic sense of what Link in Breath of the wild says "i bare my burdens silently" thats not the full line but it is in a sense what Venom does, he doesnt talk if he has issues, he doesnt talk to speak his mind, he only talks to say what is needed or when its needed
