I was lucky enough to see Rainbow on this tour,(22/11/1977) in Cardiff..My first ever gig!..I was just a kid..I got elbowed in the face by some drunken idiot, had to walk 12 miles home in the early hours of the morning, freezing cold & raining , but, my God it was Well Worth it!!
Oh Brother, I experience tue same things, 77' in Essen Germany and I walked hole all night, every second was worth it
I wish I was there too! can take quite a few elbows in my face to get back in time to see Rainbow with Ronnie James Dio.
Good Lord this voice!!!!!
I was too young to see Ronnie with Rainbow and only had the pleasure of seeing him live once :( Thank you for posting these... he sounds so AMAZING. He is the greatest rock vocalist ever. \m/ \m/
Thanks bob
awesome video!!
WHAT 4 DIDN'T LIKE THIS?? DISCO QUEENS!!
Bob Daisley is easily one of the most underrated musicians and song writers in rock n roll history... Thanks to songs like these Dio and Cozy liiive... liiive... LIIIVE!!!
I was one of the thousands lucky guys to see them live in Paris (Thu. Oct. 27, 1977) during this tour. This concert changed my life for good. Ronnie & Cozy (RIP guys, we miss ya), Ritchie, Bob and Dave did a not-of-this-world performance. I just still wonder why Ritchie had the tour manager hung naked over the stage, but I guess that's also Rock and Roll! :)
When we say "rock n' roll", we mean exactly this.
Wow! I almost forgot what a concert looks like when it's not shot on someone's piece of shit phone.
God wanted his voice back. That's why he left us!!
RIP DIO,we'll never forget you!
and if you are actually Bob, it must have been alot of fun on that stage!
O maior vocalista de rock de todos os tempos...o único defeito dele era não ser inglês
2020, happy birthday ronni
As a kid I heard this "voice", song in the mud 70s it caught my attention so much that, that "LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL" lyric is the best, perfect sound for immortalizing "rock and roll".
There are soooo many great voices for various feelings, Ronnie's is . . . . A benchmark.
I'm great full to have herd it and for all the recordings.
Looong live rock and roll.
May you live long and prosper on God's good Earth Earthlings.
Simply put," Dio one of Rocks FINEST vocalist".
I HAD TO share this on my FACEBOOK .Thanks
Great live version....
You thudded the 4-stringer for two of the greatest singers in R&R history!
Hearing Dio, Bob Daisley and Ritchie in the same Rainbow lineup is pretty fun.
Good memories! I think. lol
Long live.. Rock 'N Roll!
