Yeah his voice is definitely live and of course fiddled with post recording which is standard. You can tell the band aren’t playing by how shockingly bad Blackmore’s miming is 😂
for us rock fans, this is a proof that you do not need to shred to become a legend. This song does rock from intro to end, all superb musicians playing like a clock, no one pushing to sound louder than the others.
Such a great song. Ronnie James Dio’s vocals are forever magical. The thing I most enjoy about this clip is that the cameramen and video editors are showing everyone in the band some love. All too often, every bit of the focus is put on Blackmore, Dio, and Powell, and while they are certainly the most famous, every member is important to the success of the band. It’s nice to see several bits of footage of Bob Daisley and David Stone. This lineup was at the top of their game during the 1977 Munich concert. I’ve watched it many times, and it’s magnificent.
This album literally blew me away back in the 70,s, and I can safely say it was a life changing moment as soon as the needle hit the Vinyl, to this day, Rock music has been part of my life, and Rainbow have been my all time favourite band ever since, these tracks still send a shiver down my spine after 36 years.

In 1980 it was Montrose, Van Halen and Journey. I saw Journey 3 or 4 times after. Sad, I never saw Rainbow.
This is a real rock and roll! Great Rainbow!
Love Rainbow! Dio and Blackmore are legends💯still in 2021⭐
...да , это что - то....
Ronnie James Dio's vocals and lyrics are brilliant and this song is one of Blackmore's best solos ever
