Man this is my dream machine. Have the funds but cant really justify the purchase for pure personal vanity. Maybe someday some time i will impulse buy this beauty.
Hi I actually own one of these in Hyderabad and it's my daily driver in the city. Thank you for this review Not many Indian reviews of this I think the best part about the CB650R is how silent it is, especially at stop lights. No one really notices it and by the time they do it just disappears. The mods i've made on mine are a small fly swatter windshield, handle bar raisers (which actually improved the riding stance, I'm almost 6ft tall), frame sliders, radiator guard, side stand extender. The sweet spot on the bike is post 6k RPM and yes the vibes on the foot pegs are definitely there.
Hi Uday, did it add to the comfort and riding posture, and did you have to change the cables for it? How many inches riser? I too am thinking king of a riser, that’s all! Rest all about this bike is swell!
@@krishnajammi7895 Hi.. Are you from Hyderabad? Yes handle bar raisers definitely help with the stance especially if you're a bit tall. I think mine are about an inch and a half. Not too sure about the measurements. I didn't have to change the cables but they're a bit tight. It hasn't created any throttle cable or brake cable drag issues yet. I have had them for over a year now and no issues. Also how much have you ridden the bike and what according to you are the best tyres for this bike? I'm looking to change mine soon.
am from Bangalore....1.5 years now, approx 9k done....mine are still stock....have got suggestions for Vredestein...good grip and economical it seems, dutchI brand but now bought over by an Indian company/or made here hence better cost
I was watching videos about CB650R whole day yesterday(because my dream bike 😝) trying to find some Indian reviews about this bike and lo and behold GOD Strell listened to my request and dropped the review today. Thanks 🤩
Did the akra exhaust increase ground clearance of your CBR? A subtle look and not very loud is exactly what I would go for. Man I love the 650 platform, working my way up to own one someday. I only wish they didn't make the new cbr look cartoonish 😂 And as always, your reviews are spot on, loved it ❤
That is amazing that you can go 6th gear idle to max speed. Amazing smooth inline 4 cylinder. I can't wait to get one. I will try to get a 2023 model because the new 2024 model is ugly.
One thing to consider is that for z900 you actually pay a lot for service and spares, but for the honda, you pay upfront, and that's it. You don't pay much for service and parts..
Visor is just killing that neo retro charm . Overall it's best looking bike one can get in this segment . Hopefully they get competitive with trident 660 in terms of pricing
Really considering between this machine and zx4r will be definitely going for 4r but goddam it's a freaking amazing bike as well that I feel I will miss not having as well. The updated version also seems to be a good value if it gets here.
zx4r is weird not that much power and pretending to be a racer buy z900 instead at this price you will have 125hp inline 4 granted it wont rev as much but that's just superficial if it doesnt have power
@@chromewarnock9681 that's the problem with many Indians. Driving pleasure is not directly proportional to power. Plus Zx4r isn't even slow it goes 0-150 in 7.8 seconds. I am saving money for zx4r and will get that only. If only you knew the history behind Zx4r, the original ZXR 400 from 1989, you wouldn't say it was a pretend racer, it being i4 is the proof that it was made for revving out. It carries out the legacy of the 80's, 90's 400cc i4 class racing category, which is like a dream. Bikes like ZXR400 and hondas i4 bikes were made with superbike technology with 400cc engine at that time, even then these 400cc i4 used to cost more than 600cc supersports. Producing 50-60hp, now with so much advancement we have a 77+3 a 80 horsepower beast. that is just magical. You wouldn't understand.
Hey man I admire your work and effort! Just a small request... Can you make a review for RTR310? And compare it with speed 400 duke 250 and CB300? I loved the rtr but I'm concerned about the engine vibrations that everyone is complaining about. Will it really ruin my biking experience or can I love with it?
Other reviews say that this bike is not comfortable if ride is more than 2 hours, painful to back and knees even for not so tall riders. Do you also experience discomfort on long rides?
Hey there, let's do a comparison between your CB 650r and my Trident 660, there is lot to talk about, although mine is tuned and full system, and modded, might be a worthy content for your channel as well as mine.
I switched from gixxer to 390 adv, I have ather, now planning for a sport bike :) I am willing to buy a sports bike. My eyes are on the cbr650r. I have never ridden aggressive sport bikes, and I am not getting the chance to get a test ride. Also, I do not want the z900.

Hey man! Just found your channel through this Honda CB650R review, great content, the more I see of this bike the more I fall in love with it! I was wondering if you would recommend this over the Honda CB300R for a beginner? I'm asking because I’m watching videos to find out about what should be the first bike I own. And even though I wouldn't mind starting on a 300cc bike in this economy I feel like selling it would be nearly impossible in order to upgrade. I wonder what’s your opinion about getting a Honda CB650R as a first bike. Pricier for sure, but I don't want to buy another one in a few years and it appears to me that the CB650R might be a good choice being a beginner as well as long term ownership, and that in line 4 sound... I'm in love with it. It has amazing reviews, haven’t heard anything bad about it so far (maybe that it's not that snappy with the throttle but I'm not an agressive driver anyway) everyone who rides it loves it. Do you think it works well as a beginner bike for a responsible rider? I would use it for city and longer trips as well. Thank you in advance! Have a good one!
I have a budget of 3 lakh, looking for a motorcycle that will be long lasting as 5 years. Confused between Honda 300R and Triumph speed 400. It's only 4 cylinder inline in the segment. More refined than z900, service cost is way less than z900 and much more reliable and affordable on long run. In fact Z900 is expensive than this one.
@@hiteshgujarathi4636 thanks Hitesh. I am hoping that Honda will launch the CB750 Hornet in India. Transalp is launched at 11 Lacs so Hornet shouldn't cost more than 9.50/10 lacs
