They have to balance the audience proportion of different stages, if they put all big names on the big stage, nobody is gonna pay a visit to those small ones
I kinda want to start a Decapitated cover band and name it Decaffeinated. ☕️ Cuz there’s no way I’d be able to match their intensity. A couple days ago I watched Ola Englund learn “Homo Sum.” And he was struggling with the picking hand endurance. Vogg plays that song at the end of a full set. Fuckin bonkers. All hail Decapitated!! 🇵🇱

This is gonna be weird to say, but the best song in all of decapitated's discography in my opinion is 404. Such a great song and the lyrics behind it are really creative.
I just realized that they have only 1 guitarist. But sound is so dense like there are 2. And you can read each note when he is playing. I also wanna play to play downstrokes like he does
I dont think thats the problem, there are tons of awesome guitarists around. But dividing the money through 5, Decapitated are not that big (despite having earned a name in Death Metal) and and having another guitarist that wants to have influence in the sound. Vogg has his own sound and having antoer guiatrist with his own sound could cause creative differences.
Vogg is fucking amazing but it’s undeniable that there is a gap in live sound without a second guitarist. They’re not a big band to hire a backup guitarist so you can’t blame them...
Love the music. The guitar riffs and drumming is phenomenal, but I just could never get into that style of singing, or belching as it sounds like to me. All these death metal bands have a lead belcher. 🤣

I think the bass has a lot to do with that wall. Bass player is the wall, Vogg is the dynamics. Its incredible.
They also use backing tracks sometimes
