Great video! My parents just moved to Collinsville. I live in Atlanta and this weekend was my first time seeing the Tulsa area. Owasso was very nice with a lot of new development. I visited many suburbs while here and thought Jenks was the standout among the surrounding suburbs but Owasso is a lovely area.
great video, not wanting to move and just wanted to see what you had to say. We live west of Skiatook by the lake and we go to Owasso a lot. My granddaughters work there. It is a nice community
Happy to hear! A friend's sister is needing KLove Christian uplifting Radio as tough cancer! Please share channel of KLove or such!?:) God bless! We are in California Bay Area.
We have some rentals in my neighborhood and they're pretty high in my opinion. The housing is a tad expensive here, we find it to be worth it for the low crime rate and rupe of community it is. Buying is probably the best option tbh. The rental range I've heard around 3 lakes neighborhood is 1,400 to 1,600 for 3 bedroom houses.
We do get tornado watches and warnings but in my 3 years, nothing has touched down. Oklahoma is in tornado alley soooo that is one downside. But the cost of living and people....beautiful.
That's so weird to me, we moved here 3 years ago and haven't encountered many rude people. Unless you count traffic 😑 but that's a a whole different conversation. There's a woman who just moved here from California and she has commented several times on how friendly people are here (: everyone talks to each other, everybody smiles, they hold doors open, it's just a beautiful and wonderful community. I LOVE it here 🥰
Just don’t live near the 46th/ 169 Quarry. Your home will randomly shake due to the mining & blasting. This quarry is expanding all the way up to 66th soon. Your Owasso home is best above 96th ST or east of 86th ST to be far away from this corporate take over.
My thoughts exactly but you might as well be in Collinsville lol I said the same thing though that Owasso has changed and developed to much in my opinion.
Owasso has changed a lot over the years. If you have a lot of money and looking for a house like what is shown in this video you're fine but if you're looking for a regular like 3b 2b house or apartment then it has been turned in to lil Mexico and they will beg you to buy your ID cards. The safety he's reporting is not true either unless again you're in a gated community or something but there is a ton of vehicle/home robberies that occur in Owasso and it's only going to get worst as I've seen the decline actually happen with my own eyes. Berryhill, Bixby, Jenks, Collinsville are all better options.
No it is not they have the best schools especially mills elementary school they have the best rib cross the best Braums and Olive Garden it’s the best here

Owasso's got it all for sure.
Agreed
So I think I’m gonna visit this area come October. Just wondering how friendly people are to outsiders visiting
Does Owasso have a rental market? What are the ranges?

You're not too far from Lake Oologah either
That is right! I think I like Lake Skiatook a little better but I went noodling in Oologah once. It was a cool lake!

Just don’t let your kids go to that high school.
Im in California and homeschool my kids because the public schools over here are so leftist. How is the public schools in Tulsa?
Highly depends on the area in my opinion.
Owasso is where the snobby wealthy people live.
No it is not they have the best schools especially mills elementary school they have the best rib cross the best Braums and Olive Garden it’s the best here
No that's Jenks lol
