Watch Now: play.google.com/store/movies/...
Following immediately after the events of THE RAID, Rama (Iko Uwais) is forced to reinvent himself as an undercover cop in order to provide protection for his wife and child. Working for the anti-corruption taskforce led by the one person he can trust, Bunawar, he is given a mission to engage himself as an enforcer for a local mob boss, Bangun. Finding a way in through Bangun's son Uco, Rama must hunt for information linking Bangun with police force corruption. All the while, he harbors a dangerous and personal vendetta for revenge and justice that threatens to consume him - and bring both this mission and the organized crime syndicates crashing down.

Hands down the best 1v1 hand-to-hand fight scene of all time. The bgm is perfect for this entire scene. This will be appreciated even after 50yrs from now. Kudos to the Raid team.
To one sided for me I like my villains to have the upper hand
Watch "The Night Comes For Us"
The one in TNCFU may top it for brutality, maybe even dramatic impact, but this a slicker, better choreographed scene, and it's not shabby on the brutality and drama, either.
This one better.
@@tiktokasylum5186 So two karambits and master silat are not enough of an upper hand for you huh. Plus full stamina.
@@CrazyChillDog ....
The artistry, savagery, and utter brutality of this scene is unmatched. One of the greatest of all time.
Excelente IKO UWAIS
The man from nowhere 💪🏾
have you seen the other scenes in these films? ;)

What I like in the first minutes, the assassin try to show MC that he learned silat as his main martial art too, and MC immediately knew it by the assassin's gesture... So both silat masters try to exchange their silat in traditional, fair close combat. Not just dramatic movie purpose.
Two souls so equally matched, along with the never ending surprise of counter attacks; makes this, in my opinion, one if the greatest fight scenes ever.
Equally matched? Assassin was healthy and had 2 karambits vs a damaged and tired Rama. Count the number of successful attacks for each side and see if it is even.
@@lecioperyjunior1690plus the fact that it took the assassin 3 minutes flat to realize he didn’t stand a chance in hand-to-hand. He new he had to use his weapons to win, and even then, still got stomped.
@@bowl-of-chicken-soup7107 forgot to mention that.
Without a doubt one of, if not, the best fight scenes ever.
Also, that arm gouge at 6:38 from the wrist to the shoulder is absolutely brutal. 😮
I think it took me over half a dozen viewings of this scene to even realize what actually took place during those 2-3 seconds - and indeed, 'absolutely brutal' is an accurate description
Mmmm squishy
honestly though, that was an amazing finisher
6:13 In this scene you can see the assasin locked rama's hands with his knee while holding his head down which basically means he tried to end it without taking another hits or it'll be lethal. 6:27 and rama realizes it he broke through it and in this scene he prevent the assasin to lock him again by kicking his knee. Well, same trick wont work twice
That was something I couldn't understand about this scene until I read your comment (thank you very much for mentioning it), but as I see it he blocks only 1 hand with the knee and the other blocks it with the right hand, and that while he has the karambit nailed to Rama left arm.
And also that dramatic soundtrack change... it has turned to cinematic really quickly😜😝😝
🍪🙄
5:10 favorite part of the whole scene. Them exchanging combative blows, throws, kiccs you name it. With the metal counter/refrigerator. 😂😂
😂😂😂 pure testosterone driven moment. Neither was willing to let that last stove blow go lmao
Those head bangs kept me laughing
The pettiness killed me bruh 😂
0:15 I love how the cooks actually went out knowing they were going to fight, like "f*ck they are going to fight *sigh*, ok, c'mon then, let's get out of here"
"Smoke break? I'll grab the mop and bucket on the way back in."
@@johntaylorson7769 "I call dibs on the tables."
The cook that was absent on that day: "Since when did we restock our ketchup and sauces?"
Got to be one of the best choreograhed fight scenes ever, I had to stand up and applaud
Did the people in the row behind tell you to sit down and shut up?🤫
You can see that again is skyline 2 and which in Cambodia so we're fighting the aliens the cambodians put up more resistance than a human's all across the planet did because of the toughest jungle terrain aliens had a hard time taking them😊😅
a ballet of death. Beautifully choreographed. Amazingly filmed. Perfect.
Dg DJ dhdg if hi ft just
Best fight scene ever filmed... you can almost smell the blood
What made the assassin, hammer girl, and baseball batman different is that the film showcased their capable fighters and not just regular henchmen. That made the fight more exciting.
It was also shown in the 2 films that Rama never forgets to train even while in prison that's why he's a good fighter.
What I love, it is not that hollywood dramatizing with the bad guy dominating and suddenly the good guy lands a lucky punch, here the good guy is slightly better through the whole fight, improves even more and wins slowly and hard. It is really a deserved victory.
It's obviously one of the best fight scenes in the life of Uko Uwais.Bravo.
What Rama does in the last 30 mins of this movie is pretty much the actual impossible task John Wick completes to retire.
bruh, the actual john wick had a fight with the other guy rama fought here. and he says "mr Keanu reeves is too slow for us, so we had to adjust to his speed" what a chad
It's kind of jarring when you watch John wick 3 and watch both raid movies. You can clearly tell the villian in this fight and the villain in the first raid movie were moving much slower in John wick.
When the japs arrived, in the final scene, they actually were relieved to know that their job, requiring 200 men or more, was done with just one dude!
@@lakraknjeprak2536 tbf, John wick was retired for 5 years and also aging.
My heart rate went through the roof @ 5:39 😮😮😮 the entire fight sequence is on another dimension level of BRUTALITY!!! This is literally how MK 2021 should've been imo. Hollywood smdh 😑
I looooove the way they shuffle into each other at the start
Me too. It was amazing.
This is what we called fight scene, the best
I'd like to believe that this scene became the gold standard of what a fighting scene should be and must be (with the inclusion of the scenes in the first movie). No shaky cam, no bullsht cuts. Just pure and pristine choreography.
No. Gareth Evans used a lot of camera shake, but it's precise and with the right angles taken. So dont ever mansion that shaky cam is a problem, cause angle and shots are
The Academy Award should go for the choreography of this fighting scene. OMG - without doubt in the top 5 best of all time
It's interesting you say that... What's the other 4 best fights better than that epic fight?
Esta escena es una verdadera obra de arte...
En si raid 1 y raid 2 son para muchos unas de las mejores películas de artes marciales de todos los tiempos.
This has got to be one of the most savage and brutal 1v1 fights I've ever seen on film. My word......
the best thing beside the fight choreography is the camera work, amazing. Sorry Hollywood, but take notes :"
I want to thank the director who made this film & made a fight history. This film is far better than Hollywood film❤️
Gareth Evans is the director. I have no idea how a Welsh guy got such great performances out of an Indonesian cast, he must speak their language fluently.
@@jeremyfrost2636 nah he cant speak Indonesian
@@blanc6519 he Can but not that fluent, probably bcs his wife Indonesian that's why.
oscar for this scene - the best scene fight ever made
I remember seeing this in the cinema. Everyone applauded after this scene, and rightly so!
This guy is almost invincible! there's a reason he is called assassin
Best 1v1 hand to hand Combat ever unlike the rest where the camera gets u dizzy every fight scene
This fight scene and the choreography are just insane.
But anybody else who works in kitchens think that “damn he’s hitting him with a deep 1/3 pan”
lol I thought it was a full hotel pan.
Glad to know after Donnie Yen, people like Iko will keep us entertained for a long time
this is the best fight scene I have ever scene, music, choreography, filming style. can't wait for the third Raid movie
The Best Fight scene in movies of all time! Дуэль на керамбитах - это вообще что-то фантастическое!!
The greatest fight scene ever committed to film end of discussion...
Rama has to be a "Mortal Kombat" character game....he defeated so many villians with his own hands, thumbs up to his fight scenes 💪
Liu Kang vs Shang Tsung. This scene is more Mortal Kombat than all three movies from Hollywood.
that's because both actor in this movie is martial arts practitioner in real life. even the assassin (cecep arif rahman) teach other people in his own school of pencak silat martial arts.
Just when I thought the first raid movie couldn't get anymore brutal. Wow amazing!
Oh My God ! Wow ! What a battle ! I loved Rama ! I used to love Jet Li but now , I'm gonna be Rama's fan !
this fight scene is legendary one of the best scenes i have ever seen
No matter how many times i watched this scene 6:36 that is a nice finishing move.
Hollywood would shame on this. Loved this action, Real climax.
Final hugging as a respect to a rival
Lol
Just brilliant. Never seen martial arts combat in film as good as this.
The setup for this fight is epic. With both of them putting their fists so close to each other and being so near
And it so cathartic because the assassin is gleeful and grinning until he realizes how this fight is gonna go.
I'm gonna jump in here with a crazy take, shout out to the make-up artists. Watch their faces as the fight goes on. The blood effects are subtle but very important to the overall feel.
That flip into a head knee at 5:09 is wicked.
Loved this fight scene. SO brutal.
Everybody gangster till the curvy knives come out.
The best fight I've ever seen in my life.!!!
BEST SCENE EVER. I WATCH IT EVERYTIME.
Beautifully choreographed
One of the best and realistic fight scenes i have ever seen.
How would Rama have done if he was fresh and at full health? I think Rama would have destroyed the Assassin if he was fresh.
I don't know. Rama was already full of adrenalin and self confident due to his recent victories and he was not seriously injured. The assasin was still cold and underestimated his opponent. Then he was badly hurt before even using his primary weapons.
Достойная замена - для Джеки Чана и Джет Ли👍🔥🔥🔥🇷🇺Молодчик!!!
Dude, these movies are the best!
The Raid movies are the reason why I started learning Indonesian.
I don't think even Batman would last with one of these guys.. hahaha 😜
I hadn't seen this for a long time had forgotten how brilliant it was they both probably needed to lie down for a month after this sequence was filmed
2:37 WHAT A SHOT WITH LEG ON AIR (GREAT CHEREOGRAPHED FIGHT)
Супербой,постановщику и режиссеру оценка высшая. Так держать!!!
I like the background music, when rama doesn't have karambit the music sounds a little tense but when rama gets karambit the music changes to heroic music
the best fighting scene all of time
Amazing fight❗❗❗
I watch this movie 4 times because of this scene only
The greatest of all-time!!
Love this movie, reminds me of a video game and this fight here is a particularly challenging mini boss fight!!!!!...
The last piece of cheesecake: exists
Me and my brother:
Goated
The fact Rama does this all wearing chucks is astonishing
One of the best 💯💯💯✌️🐐
This classic is unbeatable!
There are 2 iko uwais in this world, the first one is iko uwais who acts in Indonesian movies..., in this one you better not miss his movies... There will be crazy fight scenes and great choreography fights in these movies
The second one is iko uwais who acts for hollywood movies.. For this iko,.. Well... Go ahead if you want to see his movies, but don't expect too much..
Iko is made into trash in Hollywood films or Netflix films
Not only Iko, but Cecep and Yayan are also the same, made trash by Hollywood, just look at their role in John Wick 3
One of my favorite fight ever 🤩
I havent seen Hong Kong movie (as the role model of action fight) produced these badass masterpieces
Silat is so awesome. I'm actually glad I got stabbed with a karambit... if that had never happened, I wouldn't have discovered this martial art. Or my life long obsession with the karambit.
What??

I love the fighting combinations between Silat, and Kung Fu
Not Kungfu it's Pencak silat from Indonesia
Iconic fight scene
Thats right
Legendary fight scene 😱
One of the best fight scenes.
Aside from this being one of the best fight scene ever. I lowkey think MadDog from Raid 1 would solo easy everyone from Raid 2
One of the greatest MOVIE of all time.Really the Scene is unmatched.
best fight scene ever
Mükemmel gerçeklik... Mükemmel aksiyon ... rast geldikçe izlerim
A cena mais bem feita q já vi
Wow what a great fight
That was one o hella crispy and juicy fight at the same time..
This might be the single best choreo fight scene of all time
Hollywood take note, THIS IS HOW YOU DO A LEGENDARY MOVIE AND A CLASSIC FIGHT! savagery, immense!
I love how the staff (extras) just causally shuffle off.
Those combo kicked he did & the angle 🔥🔥
Magnificent choreography, exceptional performance
Just watching it again nd again
CLASSIC. 10/10.
