I've known him,on and off.since I was 17,..and I'm 65 now. And,..he's 71 now! So many shows,in tons of different states. I've been all over the US going to his shows throughout my life. He's awesome, kind, sweet, and generous to his fans. He goes shopping with his wife,Sheryl,at Phoenix's Metro Center Mall, and when fan comes up to him he gives his attention to them, autographs, etc.
I love Alice Cooper! His concerts are fun and he is really a very generous person . Wish I had been around when he first satrted. He has values many don't today.
so many interesting stories in this interview, and Alice knocks every one of them out of the park with excellent timing and responses! there are very few that have had the experiences he has. fortunately, he still has his memory. fascinating guy.
I would like to see Alice Cooper in a presidential debate against any of our living presidents. He is probably more intelligent then all of them combined.
“Alice for President” !!! What a great interview. Alice is such a joy to listen to. He is always so knowledgeable, and such a funny guy. Never get tired of watching this interview.
A great showman, a very clever guy and an extremely interesting interviewee to boot. I'm not really bothered about meeting famous people, but would love to meet Alice.
Alice is just so cool. Not only he writes great songs, but he's a an overall cool guy in the real life too. His interviews are always interesting, I like to listen to him talk. An exceptionally inteligent person he is.
Just the pride in his voice, stating that he is the prodigal son who returns. He is so God driven and faithful and it shows in this marriage and life today. Shows you it does not matter how far you stray, God is always willing to take you back under his wing and say, glad you are back home son. I love it. Praise God to Alice for sharing his story. I know a lot of people who need to hear this.
I find Alice's whole hero/villain dichotomy quite intriguing. All the heroes died young- but the villain still lives. And now he's become a hero for the younger generations, like he's completing the circle.
This guy - George S - is a great interviewer. He prepped well, asked intelligent questions, and let the subject talk. Alice is a great interview and speaks well. This was a fantastic segment.
My cousin met him once. He was in a band touring, playing a show in Arizona. He went backstage to tell him his kids were fans of theirs. Very friendly and cool.
Very smart man and is of the best interviewees there is. Seems down to earth and genuine. It has been told that after meeting Cooper you wanted to be his friend.
My dad in Ontario had Alice Cooper in his club many many decades ago Inwas a little boy the club was called Rock 3 and Cooper was just starting up!He was a new artist at that time!
What a great interview. Bright and clever and authentic guy! I saw the Billion Dollar Baby concert around 73 or 74 in So CA. Maybe the finest rock show ever ... amazing musicians and the theater was unreal for each song! Super nice guy as well it seems.
I was very lucky. I saw Alice in a sold out concert in 1987 when he was 40, in great shape abd his voice was perfect. He was really in the mood for a great show that night and he sang his old 70s hits including the wonderful Dwight Fry. At tge end i couldnt believe it was over. The audience and i were completely captivated by the performance! I can die now, lol.
The only crime I ever committed was stealing Alice Cooper "Killer" album from Woolco Store when I was 13. I got caught. When I got home from Juvenile Detention, my dad had bought it for me!
Alice rocks !!! My favorite CD is A Fistful Of Alice recorded in the Cabo Wabo,Mexico. Hagar jumped in on School's Out and Zombie,Slash, etc are with him.
I saw him Sunday, in Moncton, that was an awesome show. What I really admire about him is how he keeps his stage/show persona life separate from his personal life.
kudos to George. He let Alice talk and avoided the usual 'schlock' questions that so many others do. I'm not even a big George fan, but give the man his due. Well prepared, congenial, and the two work well together in this. (imho!)
Screaming Jay Hawkins was the original shock rock performer. In the late 50s, he came on stage in a coffin and climbed out with all that Zulu garb on. Scared the shit out of the audience back then!
I really like the fact that he points out that Alice lives only on stage. Very unique entertainer that way. I've heard that in person, he is a very nice guy.
That's gotta be the greatest compliment in the world to hear Groucho Marx compare Alice Coopers stage act to a Vaudeville show. Big Snakes Guillotines & A Hangman's noose - Now That's A Show !!
I never miss Alice when he comes to town. Best show you will ever see. I would love to hear Alice's version of him auditioning for Frank Zappa at Frank's home. Very interesting story.
Funnypandalonies I think I can prove to you from the words of Jesus that christians are not "wing ", left or right. He lived under a very brutal invader, never said "arm yourselves and fight the Romans"!!!!! He never talked politics.
So???? He wasn't HERE to talk politics with the exception of "pray for your leaders because God PUT them there". If you are a Christian, you just ARE "right wing" in modern political 'speak'. It's a classification. Nobody is telling anybody else to "arm yourselves and fight" anybody except we SHOULD arm ourselves with our Christian protection and PRAY. THAT is our fight.
Okay first of all I really miss the Strombo Hour!! He is in my books the best interviewer(or was) on the Planet. This is one of the best interviews he ever did, not because he did such a great job but because Alice is simply a great interview. He has just been put on my "Five people living or dead people I want to have a Beer with" even though he doesn't drink, I am sure he wouldn't mind if I Quaffed a couple. I mean the stories he could tell........
Alice is the man, Under my Wheels - killer song. It cracks me up, a friend of mine in AZ, her old room mate goes to the same church as Alice. That would be so funny to me, seeing him in Sunday's best. Rock On Alice!!!! \,,/
Yeah Alice Cooper is The Better Guest on That Show Rather Then Kevin Smith Who Never Lets George Asks Questions Which is Why I Hate That Interview on This Show!
I've watched a lot of interviews with Alice. Understandably much of what you hear you've heard before because he's always responding to the same questions ... Credit and due recognition to George S that he draws stuff out of his interview guests that others haven't. Great interview here.
Its pretty funny: My mom heard Schools out when she was in her teens and she tought it was so cool! About a year ago her youngest son (me) went to one of his concerts in Finland. :D
Been locked up already, didn't much care for it. Now , as Alice put it Cleansed By Fire, I'm found, and I'm Heaven Bound! I'll be praying for ya, publicanimal9!
Alice Cooper has got to be one of the best interview. I could listen to this guy talk for hours and never get bored.

Hard to believe he is 70 and he still puts on an awesome show.
One of the best Alice interviews I've seen. The interviewer is very funny and seems to enjoy himself, and Alice is incredible as usual.
Just a great guy

I love Alice Cooper! His concerts are fun and he is really a very generous person . Wish I had been around when he first satrted. He has values many don't today.
so many interesting stories in this interview, and Alice knocks every one of them out of the park with excellent timing and responses!
there are very few that have had the experiences he has. fortunately, he still has his memory. fascinating guy.

I would like to see Alice Cooper in a presidential debate against any of our living presidents. He is probably more intelligent then all of them combined.
He is a MENSA member( high IQ)
“Alice for President” !!! What a great interview. Alice is such a joy to listen to. He is always so knowledgeable, and such a funny guy. Never get tired of watching this interview.
Alice has always been my hero.....intelligent and a great lyricist/songwriter. Please keep putting out music, Alice.
I've met him and he's absolutely lovely a real gentleman

I met him also....nice man....actually very quiet....and he is a gentleman.
I was fourth row and center at an Alice concert in October, we had a staring contest, it was the best moment of my life.
I love the fact that Alice Cooper is a substitute Bible study teacher!!! LOL! Awesome!
Can't write this shit.
He’s not a prude and isn’t preachy about his faith which is a blessing.
@@bennythepooh4905 neither am I. that's always irked me too.
Without any words, just the change in his looks... his entire countenance has changed... shows a softer heart.
Very well spoken, articulate gentleman. Super nice. Good to see him living a great life, happy, and devoted to God.

Almost 10 years. This guy is amazing. The memories of ''I am the future'' on ''Class of 1984'' still remains !
I want to go to his bible study sessions!!!
Love the bit about Mae West. She is known to have once said : "When I'm good, I'm good, but when I'm bad, I'm better". :)
A very literate and entertaining man.
Strombo's show, "The Hour" was one of the best in interview talk shows that sat down, one-on-one with their guests.
I love George's interviews...for an actual talk show it's quality well beyond most.
Alice is a really funny guy...I would love to listen to his stories all day long...
What a great interview. Bright and clever and authentic guy! I saw the Billion Dollar Baby concert around 73 or 74 in So CA. Maybe the finest rock show ever ... amazing musicians and the theater was unreal for each song! Super nice guy as well it seems.

Always find the need to take a pause, and listen to what A.C. has to say. Just a fascinating, and articulate gentleman.
Coolest dude ever!
I was very lucky. I saw Alice in a sold out concert in 1987 when he was 40, in great shape abd his voice was perfect.

I’m sorry
Very talented, deep, and funny guy!
You can even argue that Marilyn Manson "borrowed" a lot of his schtick from Cooper
I love Alice Cooper! Saw him once and it was amazing!
Okay first of all I really miss the Strombo Hour!! He is in my books the best interviewer(or was) on the Planet. You know what is weird about Dada? Alice said that he doesn't remember that album, writing it or recording it. the hilarity of it all

Jesus certainly must have had a sense of humor and I think he would have been an Alice Cooper fan too.
I DO listen to rock and roll stories all night long. Long live Alice!! :)
If you love Alice check out "Alice Cooper & Clive James 1999 interview".
Awesome! Will do
Just found this gem. Strombo is the best interviewer ever. He asks smart questions and just lets the person answer without interruption.
Yeah Alice Cooper is The Better Guest on That Show Rather Then Kevin Smith Who Never Lets George Asks Questions Which is Why I Hate That Interview on This Show!
I love Alice, or Vince, as he is right here. He`s just a down to earth great guy.
He's adorable:)
