I have the 2019 Street Bob and I want to get a 5 gallon gas tank, a saddlemen seat, cruise control, highway pegs and saddle bags…obviously, not all at one since I am not rich, but that’s my goals.
I just needed to drop a comment and say how freaking fortunate you are to be riding with such an amazing scenery! Kind regards from a fellow ‘20 Street Bob rider 😊
Thank you brother! Yes I am very lucky to live in the far north of Australia. We are situated between the great barrier reef, and the daintree rainforest. Stunningly beautiful part of the world!
Are you serious about not swimming because of the Crocs? I've heard about Salty's, are they that common on that Beach to the point where you can't swim there ? Just curious cuz this subject Fascinates me.... Would go There Just to get a shot at seeing one ❕ Beautiful Country - I've wanted visit there my whole life - The Road Warrior is a SACRED MOVIE in my House 🤘🤘❗ Not to Mention The Beaches, The Babes, The Beer !!!! I Digress..... Anyway , Nice Bike... I bought a 2021 Street Bob and put on a Saddleman seat... LIFE CHANGING BROTHER 👌. SO much Better than Stock - One of the Best things I did to the bike. Take Care Man -Cool Video .
Nice mate! I’m from tassie and just picked my new 19 bob 3 weeks back. It’s already got a Tbr 2 into 1, screamin eagle intake, power vision, oberon adjustable levers “highly recommend”, brass collection, dominion pegs and grips, brown saddlemen renegade solo seat “quite useless, getting a LS step up instead and a bikecraft SIK tidy tail. Next mods will be a 475 cam, bars “quite like the DNA bars you like, and a memphis shades road warrior fairing. Looking forward to watching your built
Thanks man, I just checked out the tail tidy from bikecraft, good one! Your Bike sounds amazing, I’m keen to get the tbr 2 into 1 as well. Love the look. Let the fun begin😎🤘
Yeah that’s a nice seat, I thought about that one, and the Le pera kickflip too. I feel like the saddlemen will lock me in better. I’ll let you know how it goes!
You should check out the whiplash speed company seats. They fit the lines of the bike way better than a saddle man. The saddle man looks like to lego blocks stacked on each other.
None of the riding you publish here justifies any of your unimaginative ramblings ... UP-DATE (Note to the other viewers and readers: I had written this comment without seeing MC’s other and last videos. When he cracked a one-word reply at me, he won my respect and loyalty) I am now looking forward to the next of his production.
@@MudpieCaviar At least you have a sense of humour, and revised some of your earlier hasty judgements. Your funny reply convinced me I could watch some of your last videos. I prefer your opinions on key riding issues, advice, than on wrinkle vs gloss finish or too firm front suspension (which you corrected). So ride on, man and tell us why it is so great to ride through your area, where you’re going and perhaps why. No hard feelings ...
@@MudpieCaviar you’re welcome. I am 60, had not ridden a serious motorcycle for 34 years because of a nasty crash at the end of Uganda’s civil war in 1986 ... Then this early summer, I visited the H-D dealer here in south-east Belgium and was surprised when I was offered a full hour trial on a Sportster Forty-Eight. It was sunny and twisty; and a total bliss. I have a bad leg from the accident and can only ride with forward controls. When they offered a Forty-Eight Special trial a couple of weeks later, and a direct comparison with the standard model thereafter my mind was made up. I recalled that when I was 19 I had actually sold my first car to buy a new BMW. So, back to last June, I thought : “I have rediscovered that I am a true motorcycle rider. I have an old but great former German army Mercedes G-wagon I have enjoyed as a holiday car for the last five years. If I sell it for the price of a new Forty-Eight standard, then it is bingo!”. The amazing bit is that the H-D dealership owner liked my G and we traded vehicles. Ever since I have been an avid rider of my Forty-Eight, covering 5,000 km in all weather during the last five months to this day. I very much like its naked and pure design. I have done a full stage One using Screamin Eagle parts and a ECU remapping also warranted by H-D for six European countries. It is called Poivre Noir Peformances Motorcycles. I love how my Harley-Davidson rides smoother and a bit stronger after it. I loath that H-D isn’t delivering the bikes as such for the same stock price. Voilà, end of an extended response. I actually long practice all the riding advice you share, especially agree the last one. I mean it that I’ll be looking for that next video where you’d tell us more about you, where you ride and why. I like the Sportster because it is the last true representative of XXth century motorcycles. I actually bought one of the last available in Europe. The Street Bob is a fine motorcycle too and its pure design I find quite attractive, even if I will not sell my Sportster; for its size and punch fit our European small roads and my taste perfectly. All the best and ride safe
Wow @esr243, thank you for sharing your story and experiences of riding! This is what the motorcycle community is all about! This is exactly what I want this channel to be about, a place to share stories and connect. The 48 is such a cool bike, and it’s great to hear you’ve clocked so many kms on it already. I would love to see some of the places you ride in Belgium! Ride safe and enjoy!

Have you seen the lucky Dave’s seat ? I like it better with a slight bit of a curve rather then the straight back
