- Yama Azim, a self-taught motorcycle builder based in San Francisco's Bayview, unveils his journey with 947 Works, previously known as Mazi Moto. He emphasizes the significance of spirituality, community, and the honor of crafting motorcycles in a city with a profound history of choppers and custom bikes. Despite battling depression, social media's comparison pressures, and the escalating cost of living affecting his business, Yama's optimism and congeniality shine through. He discusses how motorcycles deepen his appreciation for the world's divine aspects and the essence of humanity. I'm grateful for the privilege to share his story.

I'm 70 and still ride my original 1974 Ironhead.
Right on! Iron heads forever!
Now I understand why you and Blue are on a different bike every video. Build it, ride it, sell it, repeat. You guys have revived me. I was just sitting around waiting to die when I started watching videos of people building older scooters. After telling myself "I can do that", I've decided "I'm gonna do that". thanks
This channel has become one of my favorites. This is authentic and real. Cool unique stories and I love being in the shop….
Thanks for this comment, it means a lot my friend
Yama has the best most positive attitude. Aloha.
Always a treat when a new part to this series gets uploaded 🙏
It's refreshing seeing youngsters stepping into this wild world of motorcycle building/riding/customizing. It's a lost art and this will create a life others can't even imagine. Keep on keepin' on.
Old heads?!😂 60 years old and still riding my softail "skinny" bike 😅... Thanks for inspiring this "old head" to keep riding 🎉 44 years and still riding ❤
My breakfast this morning was very delicious after seeing this
I love the quality of this materials
This is what it’s about like he said keeping it ice and I think that goes for any love of anything in general, great work as always compa 🔥
Yes compadre! This is beyond motorcycles, it’s human!
Love watching that guy's channel. Wish there was a community like that where I live.
After we did this episode I was prepared to move over there.
So nice to see your comment here after being a fan of your channel. I love the sportster videos!

947 Works, 947 Times, 9:47 long video. Awesome video
just noticed the length of the video, great observation on your part.
it's different now. we all inherit a hierarchy of 'coolness'. but coolness wasn't really provided socially when i started. i had a friend who cobbled together minibikes in the mid 60s. sure, why not? nobody WANTED indians or knuckleheads, or panheads. not in boston. i bought an indian for a hundred and fifty bucks. it just wasn't a 'thing' back then. no one looked down on any american bike. anything you got was cool as hell.
For starters, I agree. Any bike you have or out together is cool and FUN!
But man, I certainly wish I could find a knuckle or an Indian for a hundred and fifty dollars
7:15 Loved that engine startup ! 💨
Doing it yourself is always so rewarding. Love the process
Loving this content keep it coming!!
Very nice videos man, I just binged em all. Found you on the reel riders podcast and really like what you're doing
Thank you Andy, that means a ton. Episode 5 coming up very, very soon.
Food for the soul. Thanks.
every single word he speaks resonates so much with me
This is where Im at right now. Pretty cool to watch and hear from this guy.
Those bikes look sick!
Maybe you’ll get one, primo 😏
I really appreciated the perspective that was brought up about the guys at the big shows being 10 years older than you with 20+ more years of experience. That’s where I’m at in life, and often times it feels like achieving their level of successes is unfathomable. It’s nice to hear I’m not alone in my thoughts.
Always excited when a new episode drops. Keep 'em coming! 🔥
Thanks Jess! ❤️🔥
Really enjoyed this episode! Thanks for sharing your story
Brett… I just want to say, you’ve been here since day one. Thank you
Amazing video! Great dude! Love to see it!

Yama fuckin rules!!!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
That’s the truth !
Thank you for creating these, they beautifully celebrate and share this poetic piece of old bike culture.
Plus, it inspires me to get off my butt and finish my own projects!
Thank you for tuning in, Jordan!
What project are you working on my friend?
Your posts are great man, love the bikes, the riding adventures the laffs you guys have, keep going forward brother, it don't matter how fast you're going forward as long as it's forward..... cheers 🍻
I couldn’t agree more. My grandpa always said, “little by little.”
Thanks for your comment!
