Good evening handsome stu and surgeon KC..thanks for the shopping guide...wait a minute you called KC dad? Well I see where you get your smile from...congratulations on the sponsorship.
Leather Handle 11.5 inch W.Rose a year ago in the US cost me 53$ I only use Rose trowels and Crick Levels. I bought a 24inch smith once it was well over 100$. Took it home and layed it on my Granit counter top and noticed it was twisted. The 48inch crick I bough about 10 years ago for I think 119$ still looks brand new and is dead level and plumb... Linsead oil.
Nice video again Stu . Just bought a new Marshalltown from jewson was 38pounds plus vat. Wish we had place like that down here in cornwall. Keep up the good work.
@@stevendouglas3860 I've never seen them on site here in the UK but you can get them on amazon. They look OK to me but I'll stick with Estwing, it's what I know.
Estwing brick very good. The club hammer not so good the grip to wide not good on the hand of swinging for a bit. Stanley fat max 3lb club hammer anti vibe the best £21 bucks also well balanced. Vaughan have 2lb 1 of these very good well balanced. Have 18oz Vaughan brick hammer yet to use but has a better feel about than the estwing grips.
Hi stu could you do a video on timescales of jobs and how many bricks could be laid in a day etc . also what affect does it have in terms if time if you work alone e.g, making your own mixes loading out and so on. Thanks
I see you’ve bought a plasticiser, haven’t you? Do you use it instead of lime or together with it? Do the plasticisers really differ for concrete and brickey applications?
KC is right, My auntie got a kitchen with a gloss finish, it’s a nightmare. All the cupboards steam up every time you boil a pan or kettle then they need wiping
Also Stu if you get around to it maybe talk about Dutch puns if you have any. I know there a big thing in Europe England Ireland. Ive only seen 2 ppl in the US have them and one of those guys was from Denmark. I bought some. Very wise investment in my opinion.
LOOOKIN at spax in stax with K.C wearing white gloves now those are facts..!#bonny He's right about the blue dye running off on to the frames with solvent cleaner
Hey Stu do you know any Whitman's out your way? I've always been interested in tracking down some potential relatives, members of my family came over from England in the late 1800 s-early 1900 s.

Bang on stu you don't need a good trowel to be a good bricky just a thick skin to protect against the trowel snobs
Trust me, there's no better tool than the Estwing club hammer and Estwing brick hammer.
They are beautifully balanced and are a joy to use.
