@@JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen it did. Next time I will put coconut schread in it to try or Chia seeds.
@Zsuzsanna Bak Sounds yummy
can a small container aprox 1/4 cup organic unsweetened applesauce be used as an alternative use instead of sugar?
Yes it can however it will effect the carb count and will no longer be keto. You may also need to adjust the liquid ratio very slightly
Can butter be used to replace the oil? If so, how much butter?
Yes in this recipe butter can be used instead of oil. Just melt the butter and allow it to cool a little before adding it
I recently made this. I liked the flavor of the coconut flour and cinnamon. I had never used coconut flour before. However, the recipe uses a 1:1 ratio of oil to flour which is way too much oil for me. It turned out too wet. I'll try again with less oil.
Coconut flour is very absorbent but the amount of liquid can vary depending on the density of the coconut flour. The way to know for sure is start out with half the amount of oil then keep adding the oil by tablespoon full until the dough is smooth and can hold its shape when rolled into a ball
Why aren't you using utter or ghee?
So grateful to you utilizing coconut flour in most of your recipes! Thanks
#1. Now these two questions may seem random however.... I was looking up on keto zucchini cake recipe. It is so similar to banana bread with the spices, walnuts and etc. Then I thought, how about adding banana extract in the recipe? That moisture from the mashed zucchini can almost mimick as that banana gooeyNess and add the banana flavor extract? There are keto banana recipe yet made with banana extract.
What is your thought on that as a keto baker? Would you be able to create a spice cake banana walnut loaf utilizing zucchini?
#2. what do you feel about this latest yogurt Lupin Flour bread keto recipe? ua-cam.com/video/FnWYVM9o-ok/v-deo.html
First off the Lupin bread looks delicious. I have looked at recipes using lupin flour but I have not tried to make any of them. As for the spice cake banana walnut loaf using zucchini I definitely can do that. Also if you'd like to check out a recipe with banana extract check out my mock banana muffin recipe: janetsdeliciouslowcarbkitchen.com/quick-keto-mock-banana-muffins/
Do you have to drain the zucchini?
You can drain the zucchini if you want to but you don't have to. Coconut flour is so absorbent that the extra moisture is often beneficial
Would it work without the sweetener?
You can adjust the sweetener according to your taste. Taking the sweetener out completely make effect the bulk of the dough and cause the bread not to rise properly or have proper texture
Thanks
You didn't add eggs in second method so eggs are not mandatory ?
The first method uses eggs as the binding agent. The second method uses ground flax seeds and water as the binding agent
@@JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen thank you , so nice of you , can you tell me how much flax seeds a person can eat daily on safer side ?
@@imranraza1978 Flax seeds are best if they are ground this makes it easier for the body to digest. I would advise no more that 2 tablespoons of flax seeds a day. Too many can cause digestive issues
@@JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen thank you so much for your kind help and guidance but my question is still there if we use 100 gram of flax seeds in one bread and of 2 person eat once isn't 50 gram of flax seeds roughly exceed to limit ?
@@imranraza1978 This recipe calls for 3 TBS (21 grams) or ground flax seeds for the whole loaf. The loaf makes about 8 one inch thick slices. One slice contains about 2.6 grams of ground flax seeds
