@@therealjackieheezy What that means was that he was trying to downplay the Service Engine light as just needing an oil change, ignoring the Change Oil light which as you said was not on. In other words, he tried to say the car just needed an oil change when it actually probably has a much bigger issue...

not to mention yes there is a dedicated oil light and him brushing off the ses light… WTF like that could literally be some simple to some very serious depending on the codes it’s throwing..

Dont get me wrong, Chads an ass-hat, but I have a 2004 LS Ext with the 5.3 and that light has turned on 2x since 2017 (about 3k miles or so apart, but its such an easy thing to check for codes and reset. Also, mine had that same squeal and it was the idler pully AND ac tensioner pully...change em Chad. Dont sell someone something that could potentially leave em stranded from the belt breaking or pully locking up (and belt still breaking). Otherwise, these are awesome suv's and fun. I lifted mine with 33's, 2" adapters/spacers to use the Chevy 6x5.5 lug pattern instead of the T.B./Envoy 6x5.0, added bigger wheels, tons of off-road lights, lots of extras inside. Fun rig, easy to modify, cheap to buy and reliable LS 5.3 engine.
Just got mine today with only 108,256 miles on it for only 1900$. 😁

That actually is a check engine light. I almost never seen a long wheel base trailblazer! It looks as if the previous owner really cared about it considering how good it looks! That kind of tells me it may have been maintained pretty well. Great video Chad!

That does look like a nice trailblazer I have not seen a 3rd seat trail blazer but it is a very nice one

I bought my 04 v6 4×4 at 160000 miles for 3000 firm in 2017...... a little overpriced I would say but my truck has been an amazing vehicle I love my Trailblazer wouldn't want any other SUV I don't have any XD version I got just one row of seats in the back but it's an amazing vehicle and I love my truck
That year of trailblazer never came with a V6. You referring to the 4.2 l vortec 4200 inline 6. I have a couple of them myself and yes they are very reliable.
On GM vehicles the service engine soon light is the check engine light or what some people call the malfunction indicator lamp. Being that it has a 5.3 it will run a very long time.
The v8 lasts longer then the inline 6?
5.3 will out last v6 for shure. That's a tahoe Silverado Yukon Sierra engine.
@@familyfamily9603 but really still depends on how well it was previously kept up, and not everyone wants a gas guzzling v8. Some prefer the gas sipping inline 6.
If you compare fuel mileage on v8 to v6, not much difference, and even with low/poor maintenance 4.8 and 5.3 are exelent machines.
No chance v6 will live as long as a v8 5.3, find a v6 with over 250k, you cant find Tahoe's Silverados with over 250k, there all over for sale with that mileage, I've been using Silverado scense 99 first 5.3 year. Went to 271k axle went, suspension was going traded in 2nd used with 80k 5.3 03 Sierra made it to 251k, wreceked, 3rd 05 tahoe 4.8 had around 100k , sold at 212k, needed 3rd row seat option, 4th and still got her, 2012 chevy tahoe 5.3 4x4 had 40k and bought a toy hauler. Towed to pismo, oceano dunes and and other places 2 times a month every summer, she now has 321k and no issues, makes a little rod noise cold and goes away, just did motor mounts 2 times, suspension bushings, cats, sensors, a.c. body is exelent only a dent on tailgate from camping
Oh and get this on poor maitnance. Changed oil sometimes at up to 10k miles. I travel for work.
It's an excellent vehicle IF it was taken care of. I bought a 2003 chevy trailblazer with 100k with 100k miles and it's been pretty reliable. Things have worn out from use, but it's ok. 198k miles and I only have a very small oil leak from the rear main seal. One drop per month. I would buy another one with 100k miles that was a bit newer. It gets like 17 mph highway. So yeah, it's not that good in gas mileage 😂
Dude I had a green ext that I got frame swapped recently got into a t bone accident I miss that trailblazer every day

The liftgate glass support is bad mine did the same thing. And for checking the mileage all you have to do is push the trip button no key need be in the ignition or running.
Actually the service engine soon light is the check engine light, I’ve got an 03 trailblazer and the amount of problems I’ve had have not made a check engine light pop up but a service engine soon light came on, there’s not even a cutout for a CEL on the 03s

The only thing wrong with this car is the very high mileage. These cars are simple, tough and durable. You can tell that because it has already done nearly 400 000km! And it is the periodic service reminder light.
That seems overpriced for the year and miles it has on it .
That Vortec V8 5.3 is worth like $5,000 alone😂
I've got a two-wheel drive with 150,000 miles on it and I've got a four wheel drive with 220,000 miles on it and I paid $3,500 for the both of them. Trust me it's a steal. These are some of the most underrated and most reliable engines and trucks that you'll ever come across. That is probably why GM doesn't make them anymore, lol.

We have a Lincoln Navigator and it had real leather in the first 2 rows but the 3 is a really cheap vinyl it’s really upsetting

No the particular model he is driving is a two-wheel drive because you can see to his right hand side of the steering wheel right above the rear wiper controls there is a blank plate where the four-wheel drive control should be. The V8 four-wheel drives are even more rare than the V8 two wheel drives
