In today's video, I am lucky enough to score a 7-passenger EXT Trailblazer with the 5.3 V8, for only $500. It was banged up from a fender bender and needed some work to become road ready again, but we got the job done and saved a really cool SUV in the process! I bought a maroon extendo v8 for $800. The value in the engine is that its an aluminum block 5.3. Installing long tube headers was probably the worst job i have ever taken on. I drove it around with a cracked block for a year, now im currently building a 5.3 with h beam rods, forged high comp pistons and an ls2 cam. Shooting for 400hp to the wheels. When i decide to convert to 2wd and 4l80e trans swap im going to do a rear mount turbo setup.

dont use stop leak then sell it as not leaking. it will again.

That was a temporary fix we later did the pan gasket. Although it doesn’t seem like it in the video, this vehicle took me over 9 months to finish I just don’t include everything in the video because then the video would be too long.

It’s an original engine that was always an option on the LT Trailblazers nobody ever optioned them that way though
