Thoughts on the MGM Grand Buffet? Would you eat here?
NO. It looks overpriced for what you got and the quality. I would rather spend more and go to a much better buffet or spend less and probably get something similar to the MGM.

Probably not, it seems it has an AAA price for C+ food. If/when I visit I want the best food and experience and this falls short.

Still better than Mom's cooking, with a lot more choice; swinging by Bellagio's and I would pay a lot more for the same ingredients. And remember, MGM is Family Friendly, if you know what I mean.
The level of courtesy and manners between this couple is so endearing!

I have to be honest, a good omelette for $80.00 as the high point of the meal I think I would pass.
But it’s always nice to see you and Catherine. Although the deserts are a plus but I don’t think that I would be able to eat $80.00 of desserts ,but I would try!!!

Yup, just walk it over to the food court area for seating. In my middle age I can't do four or five plates anymore anyway.

It's really not tho cause 98% of the food in that buffet is trash. If you loaded it with prime rib, turkey and ham i guess that would work lmao

When I hear that the salad is the way to go and the shrimp is crunchy at an 80 dollar buffet that's all I need to know.

In my opinion, it wasn’t worth it 20 years ago either. I went in 2001 and 2002 and it paled in comparison to many other buffets at the time.

In this case, have to say the basic/normal look of these desserts is MUCH more appealing to me than the super-fancy ones found at some buffets w/a combination of ingredients I’m often unfamiliar with & simply wouldn’t eat.

Bangers are a traditional Irish dish. Usually served with a gravy and mashed potatoes. Not considered a breakfast sausage as we know it here. The brisket certainly didnt look tough. The best buffets ive eaten would refill a pan before it was half empty. Kept it very fresh.
Would love to eat a huge buffet like this sometime.

I think I’ll keep passing on the MGM Grand buffet
The takeout was a deal! But almost nothing about that buffet excited my taste buds. It would be a pure game of trying to stuff my stomach to get my money's worth. Polite as ever though you just say it's fine. Lol. One of my favorite times of the day is eating a meal while I watch one of your videos. The buffets are my favorite but I wouldn't mind seeing you both at a Fondue restaurant

It looks and sounds like by your reviews, that not much has changed in the Vegas buffet scene, except the price! My husband and I were last there 15 yrs ago. Prices then were upwards of $21.00 for the same food. So, I guess the price of the buffet makes sense.

MGM has as always had good buffet for over two decades, breakfast and dinner. Miss Rio's buffet.

I haven't been to Las Vegas since 2003 & can't believe these new "buffet" prices & this is just for "Brunch" & not "Dinner"
prices, since it closes at 3 p.m.! In years past, I remember paying as little as $3.99 for a lunch buffet, at Circus Circus &
no more than $7.99 for a lunch buffet at the Golden Nugget! If these are average Las Vegas prices now, you can "KEEP IT'!
I think I would pass on that Buffet.
I think thats the sort of place you make it your own.... The omlette looked great, I love salad, so defo a good spread there. Some of the meat looked ok. As it was Brunch I think the omlette with Suasage and Bacon. Mash potato might work with that too......... some of the desserts looked ok. When you think about, given the soft drinks etc are also included. You go to a burger joint, and you can spend easily 20 bucks for a meal per person if your hungry. So if you factor in refills etc 40 bucks would be an average price. I was disapointed not to see Fried Chicken.....

Food looked OK. It didn’t look like it was warm or hot to me. The food look cold, but I don’t know both of you were so kind. It’s hard to read sometimes if you really don’t like some thing, but what I gathered from it is that you could take it or leave it
My sisters husband takes her ever Sunday for 30 years for this price of a buffet like this she's very lucky.

I was at this buffet 6 days ago. My advice? Run as fast as you can to any other buffet in Vegas.

the Brisket had a nice Bark and smoke ring for what you get on a buffet
Our salad bar went out of business in our town too. We miss it.

I miss vegas in 90 and early 2000s man food was cheap, abundant, no bullshit fees. Just there few days enjoy shows foods, shopping. Gamble few hundreds dollars, everybody happy, and willing to come back twice 3 times year without costing kidney. Now it's just sad and expensive.
