Realised almost immediately that the Observation round was one of the Poirot films, although at first I had thought it was a clip from Evil Under The Sun, which would have been impossible as it wasn't made until a few years later.
The contestants were handicapped by age and gender, so women went before the men and older players went before the younger ones. Starting in 1988 only head start for the women was retained.
